I was tryna verify my age on Roblox and This supposed "advanced" technology aka ai sucks more a** then you're average neighbor. like DAWG. I've been trying to verify my god damn age for 3 days straight and all they told me is to go nuts cuz they don't care.
how can u mess up that Bad? I swear even a 10 yr can do better 💀

I own my Verizon Network in form of proprietary, buzz off my network. This company also is affiliated only with Mercury Banking, seems legit for verification. You done mining my data you aren’t allowed to use? That’s why every damn thing is THIRD PARTY. I am not a third party, but you’re still not welcome to the shindig.

I AM DISAPPOINTED

I AM DISAPPOINTED. I verified my ID as it's a requirement by outlier ai. The first attempt was successful on first trial, however during reverification, all over a sudden verification failed. I have now lost an opportunity to work for the site due to your stupid verification system. I even downloaded the app to scan my ID again, and this time it was successful! Why are the verification results inconsistent? You are costing people jobs.

Simple functionality missed the mark

We are planning to migrate away from Persona for various reasons. After just 6 months it's clear that they sold more than they can deliver on. Simple things like conditional logic to not allow more than 100% ownership of an organization are not possible. We would have to spend more time building our own UI to make this work than is worth it. Also, they really don't seem to care, as we've mentioned we will be leaving.

Broken ID Verification System – Causing Serious Issues

Withpersona’s ID verification system is completely unreliable and has locked me out of my LinkedIn account for months. I have submitted multiple valid forms of ID—passport, driver’s license, and others—yet I keep getting rejected. No clear reason, no proper support, just endless frustration.

This has severely impacted my career and financial stability since I rely on LinkedIn for job opportunities. I’ve reached out multiple times, but there is no real help or solution. Based on what I’ve seen online, many people are facing the same nightmare. Persona’s system is clearly broken, and their lack of accountability is unacceptable.

If a company relies on Persona for ID checks, be warned—you could end up locked out of your own accounts with no way to fix it!

Photography tool not fit for purpose - multiple ID rejections due to their inadequate photo quality…

Dreadful photo software and quality when taking picture of passport - instructs user to move away from the camera so that it is out of focus then shoots then rejects 2 days later. As for the selfie (non) function the rotation won't take when head is in right place then shoots at wrong times when instructed to turn head left and right. On third rejection due to their incompetent photography tool. Why do businesses pay for this disfunctional lack of service?

Persona Identity Verification – A Complete Disaster
I've been using LinkedIn for over a decade, but now I can't even access my account because of Persona, their so-called "identity verification service." It simply does not work. No clear instructions, constant errors, and zero real support.

I've submitted my ID multiple times, only to be stuck in an endless loop with no way to get past verification. And the worst part? LinkedIn can shut down my account because of this broken system.

It's beyond frustrating to be locked out of my own profile, losing access to years of connections and professional history, all because of an unreliable third-party service.

If LinkedIn doesn't fix this, they're going to lose loyal users like me. This is unacceptable!

Absolute amateur hour

Absolute amateur hour. Starts with having to (literally) scroll for 30 seconds to get to select my country then can't keep camera focussed while taking facial photos, has ambiguous instructions about which part of document to photo and finally presents "computer says no" error with absolutely no hint about why or what you might change to have a better chance on the next attempt.

Be careful from this company

Be careful from this company. Once I received a message from a scamer asking for personal information and giving me a link to this company to verify my identity. I though this company is trust worthy so I allowed it to take my photos. It turned out that that scamer was trying to steel my identity. I contacted withpetsona and told them about this event but they didn't provide any satisfactory answers as yo how can a cyber criminal use their services to scam people

LinkedIn uses Persona to verify…

LinkedIn uses Persona to verify identities. I had to use a smartphone emulator to even connect to Persona because LinkedIn will not let you do this without a mobile device (I have also written LinkedIn a 1 star review). I finally managed to get into Persona, and I scanned my passport to have it ready to upload. Persona then told me to use a webcam to get a picture of me. I don't HAVE a webcam!!!

Persona is utterly useless and I would not do business with anybody who uses them. I may try to buy a webcam ($20 or so down the commode) but that's a cost at my end and, even if it works, will not change this review.

What a joke of a company. Not helpful at all. Using it as I have no choice since I need to verify my ID with their software to access my account on swagbucks. Sad how large companies can be and operate

This is really frustrating

This is really frustrating. First, I tried to get verified on Linkedin. But my passport, which was the only thing I had with NFC, was expired. So Persona would not accept it. I went to renew my passport, sacrificing time and money (roughly 3 hours and $50 USD, fuel and parking tickets excluded). I waited 2 weeks for my passport to be made. And now I'm trying again. It won't scan my NFC in the passport. I have NFC enabled on my phone and even changed my Linkedin-profile name to include my middle name as my first name, like on my passport, even though I never go by my middle name. It still just scans for 5-10 seconds and then gives me a message saying "scanning failed, hold your device straight - and yada yada". But the first time I tried it, the scan worked perfectly fine telling me my passport had expired, and now it won't. Wow. You have caused me a loss of a lot of time, energy and money. This is a pure disaster. You should not be allowed to exist.

This is a terrible service and is not fit for purpose

This is a terrible service, and it is not fit for purpose. How can any company hire this firm to check a persons identity. How did they sell it? Look at the reviews… they must have been in the meeting room trying to show off how it work but I bet they encountered issues, because it doesn’t work. It won’t let you take a photo of yourself. It’s a complete failure.
