Friendly initial staff ..and a very professional lady testing my eyes .

The staff go above and beyond .Nothing is to much trouble They give 5 star treatment as standard .Friendly and very helpful Most of all i highly recomend them Would not go anywhere else ,have been with them for over 35 years.

I went and phoned with a severe eye condition and they sent an optician from another shop too attend too my needs with an on the day appointment. Brilliant

From the first phone call the staff could not have been any nicer. All the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. My little girl was made to feel so comfortable by both of the opticians she has seen over the past few weeks. The staff at Wilkies really are head and shoulders above the rest. I went to Wilkies as a child and I will absolutely be returning to Wilkies myself for my next appointment.

Jack was just very good at his job.Immediately put me at ease and reassured me that I had done the right thing by coming in about my concern re my operates eye.Had been worried about it but after a thorough investigation told me everything was okay.Went into appointment feeling really concerned but came out feeling really positive.He’s a credit to the business carrying on the tradition of wonderful care provided by Wilkies Eye Care.

I found this service to be cost effective and efficient, a stone fell out of one of my rings, not only were they able to reset it and make it much more secure than it ever has been? The final clean was impeccable - it looked brand new when I got it back.

Appt on time, pleasant and helpful, very competent

Having previously been to "a popular High Street chain" and been largely dissatisfied with every aspect of the service I wanted to find something local and more personal to my needs. The moment I walked into Wilkies I was given a warm welcome, the service was exceptional and I felt confident in both the test and the fitting of new glasses. All the staff knew what they were doing, made good suggestions and I felt comfortable that I was not just another customer on a conveyor belt who was interrupting a tea break! There was no pressure to go for any particular frames and Jude provided expert guidance in what "looked right" for me as well as going to one of the other branches to see if there might be something more suitable. I look forward to finding a suitable second pair so I can take advantage of the discount offer.

My Longines watch had stopped working.It was complicated to fix, as it was old.I am guessing the parts had to come from Switzerland. This meant the cost and the time would be expensive and take a long time.
I was contacted by a member of your team, to give me a quote. There were a number of follow up calls.
I have listed the date the watch went in, I picked it up on 26th May.

I went to Wilkie's for my annual eye test . The staff were friendly and helpful and the optician both knowledgeable and helpful . I would definitely recommend this optician.
