Wholesale Halloween Costumes Reviews 

I purchased a size 13/1 boot for my daughter who wears a size 13. The boots arrived in a timely manner, but were a good 2 sizes too small. No where on the website does it state that the shoe sizes run small, nor is there a size comparison chart to assist customers in ordering a more appropriate size. Additionally, the boot in the picture appears to be of decent quality. However, upon receiving the boot that was entirely too small anyways, the material quality is a cheap pleather-like material that will not even allow the boot to stand upright on its own, it just falls over. I was purchasing these boots to be worn in 2 weeks worth of dress rehearsals and a week's worth of performances, thinking they were fairly legitimate boots, but they are not and would likely not have withstood that many needed wears. Upon contacting the company, I was told that it is "clearly stated on the website that sizes run small, especially since they are costume shoes." I've looked EVERYWHERE on the website and cannot find anything that states this! Additionally, regarding the lack of quality of the material of the shoe I was told "we are a costume store, not a real shoe store." While I understand that, if I am paying $30+ for a child's combat boot, I would assume it is of decent quality, at least enough to be worn several times, which I don't think would be the case with these boots. In order to return the boots, I would have to cover shipping costs AGAIN and a 12% restocking fee would be charged, so I would be out the $8.99 initial shipping charge, the return shipping charge, AND the 12% restocking fee simply because this company has failed to inform customers of a MAJOR discrepancy in the typical shoe size that one would wear and the size that their shoes are. I would not have gone the route of a costume store, but was very limited in the options for a kids all white combat boot, but I will most definitely NOT make this mistake again and hope others won't run into this same issue.

I ordered a Batman Cowl and Cape combo but ONLY received the cape.

The costumes I ordered were adorable and beautiful but very junky. My daughters wore them one day and then they went to the garbage as they were frayed and just tearing all over the dress. There was nothing to salvage of them.

Have not received my order yet even though the email you sent me several days ago said it was shipped.

I didn’t receive 1 of the 4 items I ordered.

This item worked great. The reason I gave it a 3 out of 5 was because I ordered and was charged for 3 and only received 2. It was for a gag where we accused players of lieing at a card game and we call them pinocchios.

It’s came promptly. However, box was crushed. No damage to the products. They were as promised and a good value for the
Price.

I was a little disappointed with the Gandalf outfit. In the photo, it doesn't look like it's open in the front - but it is. And, not shown in the photo, are two very long straps that come out of holes up near the collar region. No idea what to do with them - they're far too long to just tie together. And, the hat seems to have been made backwards. The seam, not shown in the photo, is on the front - I expected it to be in the rear.
Other than those three items, I'm reasonably happy with the outfit. The belt and bag work very well.

Harry Potter costume was cute. Delivery was quick.

Five stars for accurate delivery, I mostly would have preferred that the price wasn't too high but very satisfied with my purchase and completes my Justice League collection costume. Would revisit the site again for something completely different but very pleased with the item despite it being a Rubies costume though.

Box arrived opened. Only taped once one direction around box with cheap tape that easily came off. You should secure it so it does NOT easily open and item don't fall out or get stolen.

I paid for faster shipping because I had a party. Even called before finalizing purchase and they told me it “should” be here by the date given, no reason not to be. It is currently 5 days after the shipping date I was given and I still have no package. Although I did receive this email to give a review. Crazy huh

Somehow two orders were placed (I hit the back button when I realized the coupon didn't come through). I immediately wrote two emails explaining to cancel one of the orders. I called a few hours later when the office was open and was told it was too late and there was nothing they could do. After much to do, the customer rep gal said she would "try" to contact the warehouse to see if she could cancel the order. That was on Friday and on Monday, I received two tracking numbers (one from UPS and one from FedEx for the two orders). I called again and got the supervisor this time and he also said there was nothing he could do - the orders were already shipped. I said no they weren't, only the label was created - both boxes are still at the warehouse. He said the only thing I could do is refuse the shipment, then pay a $15 restock fee and also the $20 shipping to ship the costume that I tried to stop shipping in the first place. I then called the warehouse myself and left a message with the S&R guy to NOT let the FedEx box leave the building under any circumstances. No call back from him and the boxes left the facility. I have now been charged for two costumes and only have one and have put in a claim with AMEX to try to recoup some of my money. What a fiasco. The costume itself (brand of Rubies) is nice and good quality. Too bad that their seller of Wholesale Halloween Costumes and warehouse of Buy Costumes is so bad!!! BTW, the customer service supervisor said the only thing their department can do is explain the sizes of the costumes, not help placing, cancelling, shipping or doing anything with their warehouse for shipping. Also, BTW, all three companies are in the USA, so we are all speaking English and customs are not involved.

It's been 8 days since I received a shipping email. The tracking number would not work, I still have not received my package. I have sent it emails about this and that I am wanting a new order expedited to me with no response.

One of the products came in perfect, but the other came in broken and poor quality
