Purchased a rare bottle for a friend’s birthday.

The website did state multiple time that there would be extra cost. Shipping and duties, doubled the price of the bottle. Unfortunately I just wasn’t willing to spend that.

For a small fee, I easily put the bottle into their provided storage, then back into the next auction. The staff worked with me to facilitate the process and it went very smoothly even with the time difference for communications.

Don’t be like me and do your research before you bid!! The shipping and duties can add up quickly!!

Highly recommend to others who are on that side of the world or who don’t mind paying.

A great site and easy to navigate. It's not hard to narrow down the types of items you are interested in bidding for. Once the auction is over and you have paid for your goods, delivery is fast. Also if you need to communicate with them, you get a reply very quickly.

I have been using Whiskey Auctioneer for quite some time now using them to build my portfolio collection. They have been professional, secure and knowledgeable in their field. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone to use for these types of auctions.

Its quick, reliable, trustworthy and easy. It is a little expensive though as you have to add on 12.5 % buyers fee and delivery and insurance if you want it which adds up to 20% of the hammer price. Buyers need to factor that in.
