Avoid if you plan on using them for your GLP-1 provider. Charging more than twice the cost of 3 month bundles, and no options to cancel a 1 year contract that adds up to $888, the bait and switch and lack of communication or early termination is a deal breaker.

The have been able to help with my weight loss

I had a terrible experience with the WeightWatchers GLP-1 program. They charged me a $99 monthly fee plus a $49 startup fee upfront. However, my insurance refused to cover the GLP-1 medication, making the out-of-pocket cost an unaffordable $300 to $450 a month. Even though I couldn't get the medication, WW refused to let me cancel my subscription. Instead, they tried to offer me a generic diabetes drug as a 'free alternative'—one that my regular doctor told me she could have prescribed for free anyway. I feel completely scammed out of $350. I am incredibly relieved I didn't sign up for a longer contract. With predatory billing practices like this, it is no surprise that WeightWatchers had to file for bankruptcy.

Everyone I have had contact with is friendly and happy to help (clinician, senior coordinator, dietitian). I love how everything you track is broken down (protein, carbs, fat, fiber, sodium). As someone who has to watch their sodium intake, this is particularly convenient for me and also really helps me to get enough protein and fiber.

Communication from the Dietician and Clinician staff

Everything is up front and honest. No hidden charges. You are supported as much or as little as you like. The staff is great and will answer any and all questions immediately!! You truly are guiding your own journey and what it looks like with 150% support riding beside you to help!! Awesome program!!

I get great support from the meetings and the recipes. I feel that in concern for not obsessing about weight, the program has become less helpful in supporting my goals, which DO include the scale number, in addition to health. There has been a shift from helping us with techniques to overcome desires to eat foods that are unhelpful to a message that it's okay to eat xyz. It IS okay, but not as the default. I also miss the formula for the weekly meetings that was 1) check-in with members for victories and challenges, 2) a survey question to introduce the topic, 3) a TECHNIQUE to help with the challenge involved in the topic, and 4) the SCIENCE behind the technique.

It might be me, I’ve just found everything to be difficult. Trying to get my insurance to cover this was impossible, took months, then they only covered like 100$ making my meds over 1000$, which I couldn’t do. . Next was trying to get a script so I could go to a distributor (Lilly). That took a long time too. I was supposed to get a copy of my prescription so I could shop around for best price, I never got the prescription. I did end up getting the meds from Lilly through you. But started this in January.

WW has terrible cancellation policies. I was one day late canceling my membership (my billing date) and they charged me $24 plus some change for the month, their full price. I've used them a lot over the years but will never go back now. I haven't been using the app recently and they can see that but couldn't give a break for one day late. Bad customer service!!

I really enjoyed all the workshops that I have watched. They’re very informative and helpful.

Great support from everyone. The weekly local meetings are entertaining, motivating and very well attended. I love the recipes and the app. The Med+ team worked with my insurance company and made the process of qualifying me for coverage much easier than I was able to do on my own.
