Dropped into store today to try something on but it was an online only product, however the guys in store helped my try something similar to size and were very helpful. After an online order there was a sizing issue which was quickly and perfectly dealt with by Holly & Jack who both gave great customer service. It makes a nice change in the area for people to be friendly and I’ll be shopping there again 100%

I have been buying clothing from Bound for a number of years now via themselves and UNiK clothing. The quality is always fantastic and customer service even better. One time I was sent the wrong items by mistake and Jack was fantastic at rectifying this and getting the correct order sent out promptly. Could not recommend supporting this company anymore!

I ordered two Botha cropped gingham shirts (red and ecru) in M. It fits perfectly and the design is great. I wasn’t impressed that I had to cut off 10-15 loose threads from each shirt, but wasn’t a big deal.

I washed the red one first - in line with bounds own aftercare guide ‘If your knit is 100% cotton, you can machine wash this as standard instructions. It washes brilliantly!’.

 It shrunk by two inches. It went from a comfortable M to a S-XS.


In the meantime - I washed the ecru shirt as this was already worn so I couldn’t return it even if I wanted to. I put it on a delicate spin cycle and a slightly cooler temp (20c).

It shrunk again - half as much as the red one, but still crazy considering this has never happened before with any shirt I’ve owned.

Upon hanging it up to dry, I noticed so. many. loose. threads. They are everywhere! And there’s loads of loose threads around ALL the button holes, so when you try to undo the button it gets tangled. 

All the reviews online seem positive - so maybe I got a bad batch? 

I want to make clear all purchases from the non Botha range have been fine. I’ve had better quality from Primark - A joke for £70 each. 

I emailed them on Sat 30 May and after chasing they responded on Wed 3rd June referring to a delayed order being sent - WHAT?

There was a bit of back and forth on that Wed and they asked me to take a photo of the shirts with a measuring tape, which I did - I chased it on Tuesday 8th June and still no response.

In summary - the red shirt has shrunk from a ‘M’ to a ’S’ but the fabric / stitching is fine. The Ecru hasn’t shrunk as much but the stitching is coming apart and the fabric feels disheveled.

As I'm writing this review I had a quick look to see other people's experiences - someone who bought the 'Olive Stripe Longsleeve' had a similar issue with the quality falling apart after washing. coincidentally I'm wearing that exact top right now for the first time and it looks fab! lets see if it holds up....

Bought a shirt for my son for his birthday and mistakenly ordered the wrong size. I emailed immediately and asked to change the size before the order was sent out and was really impressed with the speed of response and the change to my order. Very quick delivery also!

I have bought a lot of the bound clothes over the years! And they are a great independent brand! The customer service has always been great, they are quick to respond and helpful! Look forward to visiting the physical store!
