This branch doesn’t even offer the ability to do wire transfers online like EVERY other bank. So I had to go in on a Friday to initiate the wire transfer in person like it’s 1980, and they failed to input the information I provided them correctly. Thanks Alex, now my wire transfer won’t arrive until Monday morning, and my Aunt Carol will have to hop around in pain with a broken leg because the money I sent for a scooter won’t arrive in time. You’re the best.
**Updated to 3 stars. Lorna from Wasatch Peaks called to get this situation rectified. She was very helpful and had much better information than what I received at the branch or from my phone call to member services. Of course, they would have liked this review to be better, and I'm willing to change it. I would just say that Wasatch Peaks should do a better job of training tellers and call center personnel to either know the system better or know how to find better answers.
*Original review: I would make this zero stars if it were possible. When Wasatch Peaks built a location in Plain City we decided to give them a try. We secured a loan for an RV and it went pretty smoothly. However, it's been nothing but ridiculous since. When we tried to get a personal loan, we were denied unless it was secured - despite our credit rating of 817. So we applied online to AFCU and received the loan that same day. Then, when we sold the RV and paid off the loan, we were told it would take 5-10 business days to get the title. After waiting for 11 business days, I called member services this morning and now the story is 10 business days for Wasatch Peaks to receive the title from the state, then they'll mail it to us. I asked if they could let me know if it comes in the mail today, but was told they don't know when the mail arrives. Customer service (member services) is really lacking! The sweet lady that purchased our RV can't register without the title, so she waits and waits while Wasatch Peaks seems to have zero accountability. They just blame it on the state. We have closed our account and will not be using Wasatch Peaks again.

I can't get the new site to work. It won't even load. I'm 78 and not really savvy in a lot of applications. It was fine like it was. Please email me more detailed instructions. Or, can I just come in and have one of you help me through the process?

We were trying to get a morgage through this company sense January, it's now April, not to mention the very poor lack of communication but strung us along for months and couldn't even tell us a reason why we were approved! Before trying this company they told us they could let us know what we needed to do to ensure an approval... three months later they couldn't even tell us what was the issue with our credit to where we were not approved!! This company morgage is SO slow and so ineffective, wasted our time. I will never try this company again. Worst experience ever. On the plus the people seem friendly enough, but unknowledgable in every other aspect.

I had quick and courteous service from tellers to supervisors. I have had consistently great time and attention from the financial advisor, James Aoki, to prepare for the next phase of my life.

I've been a member since 1978. I've been a member through several mergers, and through periods of time when the policies and customer service weren't what I had come to expect. But the policies AND service have improved. I applied for a home equity loan a couple of weeks ago. Cynthia and Asif were both professional and courteous, and always followed up with me when I was out of contact due to my work. This was a great experience.

On February 1,2023 I went into the branch in 2700 N to make a payment on behalf of another member. I had been a member for 35 years but for personal reasons I am currently not a member. The clerk handling this transaction acted like I was trying to do something strange to her and informed me the “this is going to take a few minute.” Then I asked if they had a notary available. The older lady at the next counter looked me up and down and then said, “if you’re not a member it will cost you $3.00. I smiled and said I had $3.00. Was there someone available. The third clerk said she would send a request to the notary. (Thank you to her). After the first clerk finally finished my transactions I was told to have a seat and someone would be out shortly. I went into the notary’s office at the west end of the building. She was kind and professional and when I pulled out the $3.00. She asked what that was for. I told her the ladies up front made it perfectly clear I was not a member and HAD to pay her. She looked a bit surprised and said it wasn’t necessary. SHE was the only person who treated me with any respect. So for that reason, I’m glad I am no longer a member of Wasatch Peaks if this is how you treat someone coming into your establishment.

You currently have a bit better rates on your certificates which we like as we can still add funds at any time and certain withdrawal periods are available.

I financed through a dealership and loan was written through Wasatch Peaks. I never received any correspondence from them and called to get loan information. It just happened to be on the day my first payment was due. I had to pay to use a debit card to make sure my payment was on time even though I never received any information as to how to make my payment. I got a satisfaction survey before I got any other information from them.
