unreliable, the app never works, when you call you get someone who can not speak english and will just keep hanging up. They then charged me a massive cancellation fee when I did not cancel and would not return my call for explanation. Verizon made a HUGE mistake in teaming up with the subcontractor for "connect" gps

I’m writing to express my disappointment and concern regarding the lack of transparency in your contract terms, particularly around annual renewals and cancellation policies.
We’ve been using Verizon Connect for two years to support our GPS tracking needs. While the service was generally adequate—though somewhat expensive—at no point during the sales process were we clearly informed that the agreement was a non-cancellable annual contract. This critical detail was apparently buried in a lengthy, 25-page agreement, rather than clearly communicated upfront.
The nature of GPS devices in service vehicles is such that they are typically “set and forget” unless there’s an issue, so we weren’t actively reviewing contract terms or service dates. We recently decided to cancel simply because we no longer need the service. Unfortunately, we apparently missed the automatic renewal window by just one month and were surprised to learn that we are now being asked to pay over $2,000 to terminate the contract early.
As a long-time Verizon customer—with over 25 years of loyalty and nearly $1,000 per month spent on wireless services—this experience is deeply disappointing. The rigid enforcement of these terms with no consideration of customer history or good faith is frustrating and feels out of step with the service we’ve come to expect from Verizon.

I have their devices to track my rental fleet and to say they are unreliable would be an understatement. I have units that havent responded for months. Its always a hassle calling tech support, resetting units, swapping out bad units etc. NOTE: In the fine print of the contract, once your yearly contract is up it automatically renews you into another contract. I am now stuck with buying out my contract for nearly $800 because I am simply fed up dealing with their unreliable devices. Its a lose lose situation dealing with Verizon Connect. Save your time, money and aggravation by staying away from them

The absolute worst customer service. Even your own company reps do not respond in a timely manner if at all. I have been trying to get an issue resolved for months and it always just goes back to square one because everytime a rep follows up it's someone new and you have to start all over again. Currently I have been communicating with my reps supervisor but even that has not yet proven successful because of availability and passing information along that new people don't seem to understand. It is an absolute nightmare.

This place is terrible. My current account manager, as well as the previous one, have done nothing to fix the issues with my account. Still being charged for stuff I haven't had or used in almost 3 years, but it's $6000+ to cancel this fraud. Absolutely stay as far away from this company as possible.

Avoid at all costs - waste of money and time
Our tracking units stopped working on two vans and notified them straight away back in May 24...case number given in Nov 24 and today I have been called to say if I would like to write an email again to a different department! The blind leading the blind. Paid £48 per month since March 24....there is no manager/decision maker just generic email saying 'our team are looking in to it'.
Very stressful experience and will now be going with a rival tracker company.

Would not recommend using Verizon Connect. Struggling to novate the contract for 6 months. Customer success team is extremely slow to respond, customer support is practically non-existent. We have paid and terminated some of the trackers we are not using and we still getting invoiced for them. One of the worst companies I needed to deal with.

I would not recommend using Verizon Connect to anyone. Customer support is the worst experiences I've ever had with any customer support system. You are passed around to various support people that help with one item, they create a ticket, and then stop replying. I have so many unanswered emails. All their answers conflict with other answers they provide. Beyond frustrating.

Great service from Shakib from the first point of contact. Quickly arranged a demonstration which gave a really good insight into how Verizon works, then quick install thereafter. Always available for queries we may have. We had one small issue with the system one day and after contacting Shakib, it was resolved instantly. Would recommend to anyone thinking of implementing tracking within their business. Thanks Shakib!

Beyond horrific. The product doesn't work and you are still held to a contract. You are ONLY allowed to get help from ONE person, your salesman. It took MONTHS on opening many cases to get help and finally out of our contract (when I was finally allowed to speak to the salesman's manager, after opening a new case every day). We still had to pay for the months the product didn't work as they were doing us a favor by ending the contract. They promised if we got charged again they would issue a credit. I have a long email correspondence chain over the last month of the salesman and his manager promising to issue a credit for the change we should not have gotten. It is now affecting our credit and customer service will do nothing but send us back to the same two guys who keep closing the "cases" without doing what was promised.

I was mislead on what this device can do. Their customer service is horrendous and ineffective, always saying itll work in 2-3 business days. Trusting this group almost sewered a whole research project. I tried to cancel 3 months ago and they said they would deal with it and today I got a call from colections. Save yourself literally hours of hardship and high blood pressure

We have three trackers with this company. I want to end the contract but they are reluctant to give me end of contract dates and have renewed one contract on auto which I said I didn't want to happen. Trying to speak to anyone twice is impossible and the operators speak poor English so difficult to communicate.
An absolutely terrible company to deal with so please read these reviews and don't use them. Now on year two of trying to cancel. Building a case for trading standards at the moment.
Edit. I have tried to communicate with your customer services and still no reply so don't reply with such a response. Your customer care is terrible.

I cannot warn you enough. Do not uset company. There is absolutely no customer service right now. They have turned on 2 units. That I don't even own and refuse to turn on the units that I do own. I've been trying for over 2 weak. You're lucky if you even get anybody to speak english when you talk to them.
