The process to sign up and submit your request to donate was easy and simple. The tow company that picked up my vehicle was professional and super friendly.

Pickup went smoothly. Driver was very pleasant and respectful of property.

My vehicle was picked-up the day after I made the donation. The flat bed truck driver arrived at the scheduled time.

You where on time to pick the vehicle up and the person picking the vehicle was kind and quick.

I donated two motorcycles. Communication was terrible and I had to rearrange my entire work schedule because the people picking them up did not communicate nor even care if I knew anything at all about them coming. The time I was given was a joke and they never showed up. I called V for Vets, spoke to some guy who said “I don’t know, call the trucking company”. Then, I keep getting email and texts stating “something’s wrong with the title” for one of the bikes, incidentally a bike worth about $6k. The email said “someone will contact you” but I haven’t heard a thing. So this smells like a scam, I donated a very nice bike worth a decent amount of money to help a vet. What I got for that was extra work, worry and not even a donation I can use on my taxes. Apparently there’s a title problem but I haven’t heard a word, which makes me think that someone is just using that bike as if I gifted it to them instead of a vet. The second bike apparently “sold for $900” but I got a letter in the mail that said “we can’t give a receipt unless you write your SSN on this paper and return it to us.” Seriously, can anything sound more like a scam? Why was I never told any of these things when I first inquired? All in all, I wish I would’ve just sold the bikes myself or given them away to a friend. It wasn’t worth the trouble, didn’t help any vet, didn’t give a tax donation, was super frustrating, smacked of a scam the whole time, and remains unresolved. They say no good deed goes unpunished, well that’s true with these morons and I’ll never do anything like that ever again. Ever. Never. Yes, it’s that fly by night. Ridiculous. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Knowing that my donation was going to help our Veterans. We can't do enough for them. My husband served in Vietnam during 1968-1969 then returned home to pass away from cancer due to Agent Orange exposure.

It was a very simple process to donate my vehicle, and it couldn't be for a better cause! We owe our freedom to Veterans!!!

The only thing is, I never received any type of final email, or mailed paperwork, showing that I had indeed, completed the vehicle donation process. Both just for my personal records, and anything I may need for my taxes.
