Just transferred an ISA from UTB. The customer support was second to none. I would have reinvested if only the interest rates currently on offer were a little more favourable.

Not as smooth as I expected
Had to phone to transfer my maturity balance into a new account as website isn’t letting me do this despite guidance from staff who told me where to look on website .
Hoping to receive confirmation soon as usually with other companies it is instant .
I appreciate the reply below . Still haven’t had confirmation of my new product.

Very good customer service - but some of it shouldn't be needed
United Trust Bank offer good interest rates on their personal savings accounts, and their customer service using the telephone or security messages is nearly always very responsive, and they are friendly, helpful and respectful.
However, in my experience the need for some of these interactions would be lessened if their website was clearer and made more useful by including more services. For instance, on the last occasion I've needed certificates of (taxable) interest, and had to send a secure email to request these after searching in vain under as many tabs as I could find to locate them myself. This service is something offered by many of their competitors - find the tab, one click, select the account and year, and print off the tax certificate. Time and effort saved on both sides.
