Completed multiple surveys and then they just froze my account and ghosted me, not giving any payout for the many surveys I did. I emailed them to ask why my account wasn't responding and the next day everything was wiped and I couldn't login. Totally bogus operation.

I've seen others complain about this before, and I honestly thought they were exaggerating, but it's true. I completed a 60 point survey of over 30mins, got logged out, and was permanently banned for no reason. It's really frustrating and upsetting, especially after spending such amount of time. Unlock should look into their bot, this is bad

My experience on this site has been discouraging, I reached the 2500 point requirement to cash out and upon reaching it they told me my account was under review for validation. I reached out to support to find out how long it will take and they told me that they’ll contact me within a few days instead of just giving me an estimated time. This is really not nice and it will be best if they could resolve this issue as soon as possible

I wish I could give this site negative 5 stars. I reached the 2500 point requirement to cash out and upon reaching it they told me my account was under review for validation. I reached out to support to find out how long it will take and they told me my email was sent to team members and that they’ll contact me within a few days instead of just giving me an estimated time. I’ve since read plenty of reviews from others saying they have been waiting weeks for their accounts to be validated which is ridiculous. I’ve used other survey sites and have never had this problem. I would not recommend anybody use this site and I’ll never use it again. I will also be reporting them for fraud with the Illinois attorney general

I highly recommend Unlock Surveys! Since joining, my experience has been very positive! The platform is user friendly and easy to navigate, & they actually curate surveys specifically for you! I'd been completing surveys and was nearing enough points to redeem, when after finishing a survey got my account suspended for no reason. I spent 2 hours doing one previous to another only to have my account permanently suspended after completing it with no explanation. Reading other reviews on here, I notice I'm not the only one this has happened to. Beware.

This is is a very good survey one of the best surveys available in USA. I had a very nice experience with them.

I’ve enjoyed taking surveys on UnlockSurveys, but it’s been several days since I reached the payout threshold and I still can’t redeem my points. I’ve contacted support multiple times and haven’t received any reply or update. It’s really discouraging to keep completing surveys with no progress or communication. I hope they fix this soon, but for now, I’m giving a 1-star rating based on my experience.

So an update, October 16.
Finally got to redeem my points after the review and even though this happened, I still feel some sentiment about them.

Probably took 2 weeks to be able to redeem this payout.

I earned enough points to redeem $25 ,and got a notification when I tried to cash out that my account was under a standard reviewing for 1st time members before they can redeem. Total BS! This should be information given when signing up because it seems like a scam to have members take all those surveys ,give their private information ,and follow the unlock surveys guidelines just to get shot down after working so hard. Very disappointing

Okay update from what I wrote about unlock surveys last week. They did reach out to me after posting about them in here. And I was able to redeem the $25 today via PayPal. It said I will receive my incentive in 2 to 4 days. But I just received it now. It took less than a week for them to verify me.

Always saying we reached enough responses after I've got the survey done or just not credited.Invitations are mostly for longer surveys which I don't have time for.What a waste of time!

Scam.
Even if you complete surveys and earn enough points, you will never receive any rewards. Support tickets don’t work, nobody replies.

I hate that this platform is not as legit as I hoped it would be , but they get you hooked by giving you multiple high paying surveys in which you do an complete without a worry . All until you are ready to redeem your points for payout. BUT they got me by in fact allowing me to cash out successfully with PayPal. However the second time of completing surveys to redeem my points was not as successful. Was locked out my account with no payment an even when I reached out multiple times, NO RESPONSE. GO FIGURE. LITERALLY A SCAM. AND DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. IT MAY WORK ONCE BUT THAT'S HOW THEY GET YOU. TAKE MY ADVICE JUST DON'T BE DUMB LIKE ME !!!!

A friend recommended Unlock surveys to me, i joined few weeks back and reached the threshold but unable to withdraw my earnings. I got a message that my account is new and still under review, its over 5 days and nothing has been done. i keep getting survey invites, but what is the motivation if i cant withdraw the one i already did. please unlock kindly work on this

For anyone doubting, this platform is legit and does pay once your account is verified. Just be patient and honest with your responses. it’s worth it in the end. Highly recommended!

Their ratings are low for a reason!! I have earned enough to withdrawal for the first time and their standard procedure is to review the account before you cash out which is totally understandable but I have been waiting a month and I have contacted support multiple times and have reached out on social media and I haven't got any help and if they doing this over 25$ then they obviously are not going to pay out for larger amounts

***UPDATE- after leaving this review my issue was fixed in 24 hours, it shouldn't have taken a month and a bad a review but I'm happy that I got to finally cash out,

Edit I changed my rating 3 times now from 1 to 3 to 4 stars now because I'm seeing a huge improvement since my last rating i would actually recommend trying them out now and i will turn my 4 to 5 stars when and if I receive the Amazon gift cards for 2 surveys I took which promised them as compensation, there's still time left in their time frame to receive them so I'm not judging them on that situation yet.UPDATE: I received one of those giftcards and don't think I'm getting the other one.

Update-11-22-2025: I'm changing it to 2 stars which is so disappointing because I really see so much potential but the customer service is almost non existent, it should not take almost a month to get one issue replied to and another month to get it resolved. Recently points were taken from my account and put me in the negative it took me over a month to get it fixed which was a month wasted of not doing surveys and now I have 3 more problems I'm just waiting to get help with. Please do better!!

12-16- although their customer support needs a lot of improvement and I wish that the minimum payout was lower I absolutely would recommend this site now

I have been doing Unlock surveys for the last two days. I was able to accumulate about twenty seven hundred points and right before I was ready to cash in they locked me out and said I had violated some sort of term or agreement. I have consistently been doing the surveys over the last 2 days.So if something was violated it seems strange that it would be violated right as i'm about to cash out. This is very frustrating and I will continue to email and if not file with the Better Business Bureau if something is not done.

Since writing my review Unlock Surveys contacted me a few days after submitting the review and said they would research my account further to see what happened. After about five days my membership was reinstated and I was able to log back into my account. I also had all the points I had acquired still in my account which made me very happy since I was very close to having enough to redeem. Once I had all the points needed I went to redeem and received a message stating since this would be my first time to do so a representative would need to research my account and verify my points. This was a little surprising since I didn't recall reading anywhere that would be required. Around five to seven days after receiving the message nothing had progressed and I still had the same message on my account. I sent a message to Unlock Surveys to find out the status and when might it be resolved so I can redeem my points. I did receive a message back about a day or two after saying my account was still being reviewed and when completed my account would say I could redeem my points. This made me feel a lot better to know it just wasn't sitting there with nothing being done. I believe it took about two weeks until I was finally given approval to redeem my first points. Since then I have redeemed points two more times without any hang ups or issues. I received my rewards about 24hrs after redeeming and have been very happy with Unlock Surveys ever since. I'm still not sure why my account was deactivated in the first place but I'm happy they took the time to resolve the matter and reinstate my account with them. I am happy with the survey process and find I fit most of the survey requirements to complete the surveys. I'm happy with Unlock Surveys and the time they took to look into my account and find out I didn't do anything wrong to have my account deactivated.

I recently became a member of Unlock Surveys and enjoyed answering the interesting and unique surveys on their website. I had been a member for almost two weeks and was 200 point away from being able to cash out for the first time. After completion of a survey, the website logged out and when I went back to log in I received a message stating my membership had been terminated due to going against their terms of use agreement! I had been answering honestly and couldn't understand what I had done wrong. I sent their customer service a email hoping to find out what I had done to be terminated. Three days later I received this from customer support:

"Unlock Surveys is looking for members who meet our strict quality standards and eligibility criteria. Based on your responses, one or both of these were not met. We sincerely thank you for your interest in Unlock Surveys at this time.
Best Regards, Unlock Surveys Support Team"
This answer doesn't fit with what pops up when I try to log in stating I violated their terms of use agreement. If I had already been accepted as a member and answering surveys for two weeks, how did I NOT meet their standards and/or eligibility criteria they are looking for? Why am I told I violated their agreement terms when I try to log in? This makes me think the reason my membership was terminated was due to me coming close to redeeming my points.

I was new to the platform (only a few days) and completed some initial surveys. I was excited because the surveys looked they they paid well, and I close to getting enough points to cash out when suddenly I was unable to log in and received a message that my account had been "terminated due to suspicious activity". I emailed support but have not received a response yet. So in essence my information was stolen and I did not get paid. I caution anyone to avoid using this platform. I recommend "Branded Surveys". They are pretty consistent and their customer service responds within hours if there is an issue.
