Love this shop! 🤩
I’ve ordered quite a few things from Toonzshop. Their clothes are just that bit different from the usual high street shops. Love the leggings I ordered; I get asked where I got them all the time. Toonzshop clothes are well made, easy to order and they were delivered right on time. There’s also no excessive packaging. Love this shop.

Never got a response
Asked to cancel the order because it didn't show duties charged when I placed it. Never got a response from the customer experience and they shipped it anyway.
It's a bummer because I had to pay 1/3 of the price of the garment in duties that I wasn't aware I would be charged.

First of all, regarding duties & taxes: on the payment page we have several clearly separated sections (Order summary, Addresses, Shipping method, Duties & Taxes, then Payment). The duties are automatically pre-selected so they can be paid at checkout for a smoother delivery, but it is absolutely possible to uncheck this box. In that case, the same amount will be requested by the carrier upon delivery. These import taxes are set by your country’s government and apply to any parcel coming from abroad; unfortunately this is something we, just like other international brands, don’t have control over.
Concerning your cancellation request, I carefully checked our customer service inbox and couldn’t find any message from you. To reach us, you need to send a new email to commandes@toonzshop.com (replies to the automatic emails won’t arrive to us because they are sent from a no-reply address).
Please feel free to contact our customer care team so we can assist you properly, especially if you would like to arrange a return.

Not as satisfied as with the first order...
Well, I ordered two of the same products - same size, just different colour. But one is much smaller!
Also, I'm disappointed that the material of the dress I ordered is not so good as the other materials I'm used to from this company. I didn't check specifically, because I didn't expect it would be 100% of plastic origin :/

I'm a bit confused, as the orders registered under your name only contain different items, so I'm having difficulty identifying the exact product concerned by the size difference and the material issue. This will allow us to investigate quickly and offer an appropriate solution ;)
Regarding the sizing, two pieces in different colours should normally fit the same, but slight variations can occasionally occur between production batches, especially over the years. Of course, this should remain minimal, and we would be happy to check this for you and arrange a return if needed.
As for the composition, any change in material over time is always made with the aim of improving quality and comfort, generally moving towards more natural fibres rather than the opposite. The exact composition is always indicated on the product page, but we will gladly verify this point with you.

If only they had a different carrier...
I only have positive words for the shop itself. The clothes are fabulous and the customer service is very friendly and helpful. However, the carrier DPD is not trustworthy in my experience. It lies about having delivered it and me refusing the parcel. So I never saw my parcel although I did get a refund. I will be very cautious to order from Toonzshop again because of DPD. Such a shame as I really like the shop.
