Friendly staff. Good choice of art papers, paints, pencils etc. Lots to browse through, some bargains to be had. Great find on a walk in Lumsdale - they had a sign out off the minor road to help locate it.
Been to Turners today and there was no one there to help or serve me. I could hear people taking in the store room, knocked on the door several times but no one came out, rang the bell by the till several times but no one came so thank you so much for wasting an hour n half of my time and petrol. No wonder people are shopping online, I won't be back.
I came across this site by chance. I was looking for a mid size bottle of brush cleaner/dilutant and they were the cheapest.
It seems to be more geared towards supplying schools and hobby crafters etc than artists but they are worth a look for stuff and they're cheap.
I ordered at the weekend while they were closed but my package arrived fast and most companies that are open 24/7 wouldn't have got my stuff to me with that speed.
So a great service, limited but good selection and super speedy delivery.
The only downside? The website is old fashioned and not conducive to multi-tabbing. Hardly worth mentioning though as it works perfectly fine despite this.
