You mentioned in an email that Trustpilot "agreed it's a scam" because your review was reinstated. However, that's a misunderstanding of how Trustpilot operates. Trustpilot does not make rulings on the truth of such claims—they only assess whether a review meets their guidelines. Reinstating a review is not an endorsement of its content.

In reality, we acted professionally and transparently throughout your case. Your compensation was never withheld. The delay happened because you initially provided incorrect bank details. As we explained and documented via email—including a screenshot of the returned payment—we had to wait for the funds to return before resending the payment, which we did.

It’s also important to emphasize: you didn’t pay anything upfront. We handled your case completely risk-free to you, and only took our fee after winning compensation on your behalf—just like we’ve done for thousands of other passengers over the past 7+ years.

Over the past 1.5 years, we have worked diligently on your claim without taking any payment, as we operate on a 'no cure, no pay' basis. Your case was thoroughly assessed by our legal experts and even escalated to our legal partner in Spain, who, after careful evaluation, determined that it could not be won under Spanish law.

Denied boarding cases require concrete evidence, such as a denied boarding certificate or written acknowledgment from the airline. Without such documentation, courts in different European countries interpret EU Regulation 261/2004 differently, which unfortunately affects the likelihood of a successful outcome. In this specific case where the airline has also denied you the right to a rebooking, only worsens the case and the airline has disputed that there is no valid booking and since we have not seen a bookingreference after your upgrade on the 13th of december, we dont have enough proof.

Despite this, we pursued your claim for as long as possible in an effort to help you receive compensation.

Calling us ‘the worst company ever’ is not only unfair but also dismissive of the extensive work we put into your case at no cost to you. We take pride in fighting for passengers, and while we cannot guarantee success in every case, we always act in their best interest.

A service to rely on

Fiquei mais de 4 horas para além do previsto à espera de um avião. A companhia aérea em vez de enviar um avião para o aeroporto onde eu ia partir ainda o enviou para outro aeroporto antes de chegar ao meu aeroporto.

Achei-me no meu direito de reclamar dada longa espera e dado o comportamenteo da companhia aérea.

Recorri à Travel Refund não duvidando da sua persistência e qualidade dos serviços mas tendo o medo que a companhia aérea marcasse uma posição de força.

Apesar de ter de esperar cerca de cinco meses fui reembolsado de acordo com a tabela de valores da Travel Refund.

Recomendo recorrerem à Travel Refund em situações emelhantes e que se enquadrem nos tempos de atraso e de distância previstos na sua tabela.

I spent more than four hours waiting for a plane. Instead of sending a plane to the airport where I was leaving, the airline sent it to another airport before it arrived at my airport.

I felt I had the right to complain given the long wait and the airline's behavior.

I turned to Travel Refund, not doubting their persistence and the quality of their service, but fearing that the airline would take a strong stance.

Despite having to wait around five months, I was reimbursed according to Travel Refund's price list.

I recommend that you use Travel Refund in similar situations and if you fall within the delay and distance times set out in their table.

Professional and Hardworking Team – Be Patient for the Process

I had a great experience with TravelRefund. Their team is very professional, responsive, and helpful. Whenever I contacted them via email, they responded quickly and explained everything clearly. After Waiting for 2 Years and Still No Results

We started using TravelRefund in December 2022 and received some standard email replies stating they were contacting the airline. However, after one year, when we asked about the status, they simply told us to keep waiting. We began to lose trust in them and started suspecting that they might possibly be fabricating information. When we requested proof that they had contacted the airline, they claimed we misunderstood their process and told us to wait longer.

As of now, it has been more than two years, and there is still no result. Based on the terms we agreed to when we first engaged with them, if we want to handle the case with the airline ourselves or switch to another agency, we are required to pay them without receiving any compensation from the airline. I also read that some companies might keep the compensation from the airline without passing it on to their customers.

Does anyone have experience dealing with this type of situation? How can we escape this trap?

*Alma, I know you will respond to this review. Instead of spending time writing long-winded positive responses on the internet, why not spend time on customer cases? Do you think everyone doesn't know that nothing has actually progressed and the customers has not received any compensation??
