Tommee Tippee® was founded over half a century ago, born from a mission to make everyday life easier for parents around the world. Today, we are still as committed to that original goal as we were back in 1965. We strive to create innovative and stylish products, championing everything it takes to be a parent. At feed time, mealtime, change time and sleep time. Making things easier when we can, always listening, creating, and inventing. It’s no wonder we’re loved by babies and recommended by generations of parents.

The machine is definitely not made for summer, for the hot weather. Temperature icon is always on, it’s so frustrating when you need to make a bottle 😠 every single time day or night. We have to use cold water from fridge but it doesn’t stay cool until next time so again we have to repeat the process all over again.
Maintaining is also not cheap, filters are expensive even though we use bottle water the filter expire not even after 2 months.
Sensors should be better.

Where do I even begin?
I placed my order with Tommee Tippee on 22nd June (002973550). Due to delays with the delivery, by the time the items arrived, I no longer needed them and simply wanted to return them.
You would think returning an unwanted order would be a fairly straightforward process. Apparently, with Tommee Tippee, that would be far too much to ask.
I initially tried to process the return through their online portal, only for it to repeatedly crash. When I contacted customer service, I was told that my order had been affected by their recent website switch-over, meaning I couldn't actually use the returns portal. So far, so good — websites have problems. These things happen.
What followed, however, was an absolute circus.
I was told they could arrange a collection between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday. I explained that I work as an agency doctor and travel to Birmingham for work, so being available at home all day for a collection wasn't exactly realistic. I asked if they could arrange a Saturday collection.
Nope.
I was then assured that a collection could instead be arranged around my lunch break during the week. So, like an idiot, I trusted what I was told, rearranged my already limited break time and sat waiting for the collection.
Nobody turned up.
So there I was, having sacrificed my lunch break waiting for a collection that never happened. Apparently, my time isn't particularly valuable to Tommee Tippee.
After seven days of going backwards and forwards with customer service, they eventually agreed that I could just post the items back myself.
Fantastic. Finally, a solution.
Except, naturally, it didn't end there.
I posted the return back to them and it was confirmed as delivered on 20th July.
When I contacted them to ask why I still hadn't received my refund, I was told there was a returns backlog and, apparently, they couldn't provide any timeframe whatsoever for when I would get my money back.
But here's the best part.
I was previously told that once I provided my return receipt/proof of postage on the day of dropping it off, they would process my refund.
So I mentioned again if I can provide it as it contains the tracking number of the drop off confirming the delivery and all the necessary details to confirm my return
And guess what?
That turned out to be another promise that wasn't actually worth anything.
Despite the return being delivered, despite me asking to provide the proof of postage they specifically asked for, and despite me repeatedly contacting them, I'm still being told to essentially sit tight and wait indefinitely because of their backlog.
My order was placed on 22nd June.
Today is 11th August.
That's 50 days from placing the order, and 22 days since my return was confirmed as delivered.
At what point does a simple return become an endurance test?
I have been given multiple solutions, multiple assurances and multiple promises throughout this process — and somehow, each one has ended up being another dead end.
I have even offered to provide additional proof to help them locate and process the return because apparently I'm now doing the administrative work for their returns department too. The whole thing has become borderline ridiculous.
At this point, I'm mentally drained. I work long days as an agency doctor, travelling to Birmingham and spending my working day saving lives, and I simply do not have the time or energy to spend my evenings chasing a company for a refund for goods that have already been returned and confirmed as delivered.
The irony is that I initially chose to order from Tommee Tippee expecting a reputable, established brand. Instead, I've spent weeks chasing customer service, sacrificing my lunch break, repeating myself, waiting for collections that never arrived, being given assurances that weren't honoured, and now apparently waiting indefinitely for my own money.
Tommee Tippee: thank you for the experience. It has been an excellent reminder that "we'll sort it" apparently means "you'll have to chase us again later."
I will never order from Tommee Tippee online again, and after this experience, I wouldn't believe a promise from their customer service team without getting it in writing, notarised and probably witnessed by a solicitor.
One star because Trustpilot won't let me give zero.
Absolutely exhausting. Absolutely unacceptable. And absolutely the last time I'm ordering from Tommee Tippee's website.

I have had 4 PrepGo flasks all of which have almost scalded my baby with boiling water as they do not cool the bottles down!!! They are extremely dangerous and when you complain they just send replacements! They need recalling before a baby is seriously injured!

Wonderful customer service. Antony is an absolute gem! Our let’s go bottle warmer lid got damaged and although they don’t do it as a spare part he could point me in the direction of an alternative and useful solution. He was also very friendly so if he will be your assistant you’ll be very lucky and in for a resolution of your problem! Thank you!
