The communication from the staff if there was any delay.

The Sales/Admin staff-Customer Care - were hard to access and provided inaccurate information. After a Technician's successful visit on 7 January, I received another email on 8 December from Customer Care which again contained inaccuracies about the process.
Finally, a technician was located on 7 December - Corey. He attended, did diagnoses and waited on site until Alpha fixed the problem.
In addition, Corey called me twice to update his arrival time, delayed due to crash on an expressway. In the end he arrived slightly earlier than predicted - Great Communication and Great Technical Skill plus determination to resolve the issue.
This Issue was first flagged to TR before Christmas but there was Nil response until 5 January and then that communication contained inaccuracies.
Despite promises to call me in emails from Customer Care, I had to initiate all contact.
I have had to use Electricity from the Grid for almost 30 days, despite the Solar Panels working - proven by TR diagnostics.
This was the second time within 30 that this fault occurred - 28 November 2025 and 20 December 2025. And the third time this occurred since the Installation in July 2025 - Not Good. It appears there is a problem with the Inverter installed on my site
I commend Corey for his knowledge, determination, communication and attitude.
It would be great if all TR were of his high standard. TR needs more like him.

After being reported by this provider to trust pilot for defamation I have been instructed to modify this review removing honest feedback that prompted my contact to worksafe in the first place. I can confirm Work safe responded to my raised complaint on the 10/12/25 to advise " your matter was assessed to be appropriate for a written regulatory response to the workplace. We have therefore written to Think renewable to.. and their obligations to comply with work health and safety laws ...." My original feedback stands as below I have reported your work practices to work safe nsw. As a social work manager, working on a department of communities and Justice program, I had to provide first aid to a staff member experiencing in my trained and professional opinion signs of Hyperthermia. As reported by the Australian bureau of meteology , These last few days, we have experienced a well document extreme weather event with temperatures reaching above 43 degrees in our suburb.Fire fighters are continuing to battle out of control bush fires in our area, as well documented in the national news. To drop off sales agents not one but two consecutive days in those hazardous conditions could be excused if it was a single incident, rectified promptly when you have seen conditions turn extremely hazardous, but to do this on back to back days, again dropping them off in soaring temperatures over 43 degrees, with poor air quality due to raging bushfires, extreme uv as reported by the Bureau of Meteorology, shows an appalling lack of care and judgement. Working in management myself ,albeit social work, I can say, this sends a very strong brand message, that you do not care about your staff. If you will treat your own staff like that, what can customers expect in terms of long term after care and service. Shame on you putting profits over worker safety. The fact it has taken so long to respond to this review and only after work safe found it appropriate with the evidence I provided to instruct you on your legal obligation speaks volumes. I have the email proof. As does you contacting trust pilot to flag this post for defamation when I told the truth. I have nothing to gain from raising a false allegation, given who I work for even more so. However you have everything to gain by trying to get honest reviews removed that do not show the narrative you would like.

This company is horrible to deal with. I had last 4 months, non-stop issues after issues with data coming from the Battery. They did send the technician every time, but still, I feel the data is incorrect. Their manager is useless as never called me after so many emails sent to discuss. Salespeople do not take calls after they have sold the product. Just tired of this people.

Just had a 10 kw system and battery put on our house by Think Renewable. George H came out and talked us through all the options. He was super knowledgeable about solar and the different products, savings and payment options. The install team were amazing - Corey, Richie and Blade. Super friendly, solved some problems and worked really hard to get the whole thing done in a day. Left the place spotless. Can’t recommend those guys enough. Super professional.

Had our batterie installed over 2 months ago and still not working. have tried so many times to email, call and get help but absolutely no help at all.
They say they get Sh*t done on their website but they don't. Not only that they have disconnected our app contact with our solar panels so i don't even know if they are working.
So disappointing that $17,000 doesn't even get you a call asking to help when you have begged for help.
Please come and take you batteries away and make good any damage to our property.

Had long wanted Solar but couldn’t afford and didn’t really know where to start. I knew there were some rebates around but George Hutchison very competently explained and answered all my questions. Installed was very professionally handled and follow ups have been good.
It’s winter so I can’t attest to their full benefit, but at worst with payment plan (govt no upfront or interest) we’re breaking even. That’s at worst and in the worst month, so looking forward to summer.
Yeh they use doorknockers to get business but don’t let that put you off

We now have a superb new battery and solar panels. Cannot thank all at Think Renewable enough. Meeting with Alex H. got the ball rolling. He advised expertly on our optimal set-up. He also continued to be responsive and helpful throughout the next steps.
The complete process was seamless and rapid thanks to TR’s efficient teamwork at all stages of the process - admin & scheduling, communication and, best of all, installation by Matt and James and co-workers.

We had solar installed a year ago, we’ve considered Solar for a while but with a difficult roof a lot of companies have turned down the install so very happy when Mark and Think Renewable completed the install, we recently had a bill check in May and solar is looking after us so much Mark recommended we don’t need a battery with our usage so low

Reply from Think Renewable
The team have been fantastic from start to finish, Mark was knowledge about solar and guided us towards the best system for our house. We had other quotes and so far we are glad we went with Think Renewable

Conor was an excellent consultant that signed us up and Corey & his team were amazing and efficient with our installation. Showed up on time and completed everything without issue. Highly recommend them!

We were a little unsure to start with, given so many dodgy solar set ups... however our technician, George Hutchison, was genuine and knew everything about his product. We had Solar which was approx 10+ yrs old and no battery. They informed us that our solar probably was no longer doing much if anything for us given it was 10yo and those old systems seem to have only a 10y life. They replaced our system and installed a battery and we have George's mobile for any issues (not that we have had any so far). Our consumption has halved (compared to last year) for the couple of months since installation. This is very satisfying to see considering we have young children so use heating very heavily.
The whole process was seemless and seemed to happen like clockwork.
Thanks George & Think Renewable.

Think Renewables was very efficient with the installation of our solar batteries. Their communication was excellent and they were timely with any responses to our queries. Our consultant George Hutchison was knowledgable and was able to explain all the ins and outs to us. He organised of all the finance applications and made it very easy for us. Installation was very efficient.

Stay away from this company, they are the absolute worst once they get your money, they give you no contact or anything else, then they will over charge you and come at you for more money saying that it wasn't covered in the initial amount and they only give you 2 or 3 days to make any payments. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Horrible to deal with a complete rip off. It has been almost over a month, and we are still waiting on it to be finished with
