I recently ordered a rug from theRugshop and I’m very pleased with my purchase. The ordering process was straightforward, delivery was delayed but was sorted out and the rug arrived well wrapped and in perfect condition.

The quality exceeded my expectations — it looks elegant and well made, and it has completely elevated the look of my dining area. The design is beautiful and exactly as described online, which gave me confidence in my purchase.

Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend theRugshop to others looking for stylish, good-quality rugs at a reasonable price.

Easy to order. Much cheaper than purchasing from a well known high street retailer. Although website said there might be delivery delays my rug arrived within 4 days. Looks great. Have purchased two more rugs from them.

A very easy website to navigate and order from. Products are very competitively priced. Our rug was delivered by the date given and regular updates on processing and delivery were really appreciated.
The rug was delivered well packaged and the quality is superb. No problem recommending the company.

I bought 3 rugs from the rug shop. All were as described, reasonably priced & delivered within the promised timeframe. I had to send the first rug back (colour didn’t match the intended room) and the process was easy & the communication with Anurag was excellent. All in all a great experience. Highly recommended.

Received rugs I ordered, they are very well made and look really elegant when they are down, will definitely buy some more in due cause

I ordered a rug in November. I was told it was out of stock but would be delivered 5th of January. That date passed no word from this useless company. I chased and was told that it would be back in stock until February 2nd. Can I just say there was 0 apologies, customer service were so rude. When I asked “will I actually receive my rug in February?” They replied by saying they don’t know it could go out of stock again! Wtf. Give me my money back scammers

Awful… ordered a rug on 9/2/26, received an email to say my item was in stock and would be dispatched shortly with a 3-5 day delivery time.
Still not received it, (25/1) I have emailed twice in the last week and no reply to either.

When our rug came it was the size we ordered but as soon as we lay it down we realised it didn't work in the room . Basically it was too big and didn't look right . We had to wait until the Christmas period was over to get intouch with them. Then came the bad weather. Royal mail kept sending the wrong size van wich delaying the return. But I have to say I kept the company informed with the issue.
When they finally got the rug returned back to them they gave me a full refund straight away.
I would highly recommend anyone to buy from the rug shop .

The rugs look great, feel great underfoot, and help keep my flat sounding great as I walk around (I love my downstairs neighbours).

I bought a rug just before Christmas and received it within the stated delivery time. Unfortunately I had an issue but it was dealt with extremely promptly and professionally with no delays. Would buy again.

We ordered a large rug costing over £1,000 from Rug Shop UK. It arrived badly damaged and in very poor condition, with a large tear and white chalky deposits across the surface.

We reported the damage immediately on opening the parcel. We phoned the company the same day and were told to email, which we did with photos. We then phoned again several days after receiving no response and were explicitly told we would receive an email by the end of the day. No response ever came.

Despite multiple emails and phone calls, Rug Shop UK has completely failed to engage, failed to arrange collection, and failed to offer any refund or replacement. Their customer service is effectively non-existent.

This was a high-value purchase and the total lack of accountability is unacceptable. We have now had no option but to involve American Express to recover our money.

Based on our experience, we strongly recommend avoiding Rug Shop UK.

Whilst I can commend this company for quick dispatch, my rug proved unsuitable and had to be returned. I wasn’t advised that they would arrange collection until I asked ( they initially told me to do this myself) but then collection was quickly arranged and successful. Received an email on the 27/10/25 confirming refund had been successfully processed for the full amount less collection cost of £40 ( I was aware of this ). However, this refund had not been processed until today when I chased them. I did not receive an apology but was told it had been referred to the Accounts department and another message to say the refund was processed and this time it was! Beware you check your bank statements!

Please do not waste your time with the organisation. I ordered a rug that was 'in stock' and had the confirmation email from a gentleman called Harsh stating that it would be 2-5 working days, which is great. I was also advised that I would get a tracking number and email stating when the rug was dispatched, these never came. I waited over the allotted time before contacting them. The response time via email is appalling and then when they do reply it is a case of give us another 48 hours and we will contact you. There is never a response and it is a case of chasing yourself. They are happy to take your money and not send your item. Someone then called from the organisation today to claim it was lost in transit by Parcel Force, something which I do not believe as Parcel Force are one of the companies that always send out a tracking number. It is clear that the rug was never sent in the first place, again happy to have your money and not send the item. Also items are not in stock as they 'come from our supplier' so please do avoid this place at all costs.

I had a really positive experience with The Rug Shop UK! Their customer support team was super helpful when I had a small issue with my order. I reached out through the live chat, and they replied almost instantly with a clear solution. It’s rare to find such friendly and efficient service these days. I’m very happy with how smoothly everything went — great rugs and even better support! Highly recommended.
