Communication

Communication: They have changed to live online chat and it is absolutely useless. Since my company changed over to TMC it has been a nightmare. Even more so now I have an electric vehicle with multiple home electricity tariffs. Being able to call a mileage company when on the road seems essential in my mind. But, no... you have to log in and wait for delayed responses which take far too long to sort out and that's not even mentioning the AI chat bot you have to get past.

I wish I could rate it 0. App crashes often resulting in inaccurate readings.

Customer support is aggressive and unprofessional not to mention completely unhelpful.

Not worth the data to log in!!

A completely useless addition to my day.

A completely useless addition to my working day.
Constant updates,none of which improve a basically flawed app.
I have to regularly correct data gathered,if it will accept it at all.
Regularly offline,server down etc

Designed to frustrate and not pay.

Designed to frustrate…. Any company using this system is trying to avoid reimbursing their staff.

Used the gps logging for a business trip, there and back in a day… 454 miles…..it claimed it was zero despite having mapped where I have gone. All because the postcode as the same…. I can’t have been the first person in the world to do a 1 day business trip……either deliberately deceptive, or developed by buffoons

Ryanair could learn a thing or two from these guys.

Utterly rubbish and incompetent

From their text - I wonder which awards TMC have won?
Worst software?

Their 'system' cant support OVO Chargeanytime because of the flexible charging times.

You need to change your provider they say LOL.
I suggested they employ a competent software engineer.

Wouldn't be so funny, but they know they dont need to give a damn.

It's like if a 12 year old was asked to produce an app

The UX of the interface on app and web is awful. The app is constantly signing me out and then on logging back in is automatically trying to enable auto track.

The single occasion I tried to use auto track it wildly underestimated the mileage and made it impossible to record a fair representation of the working day.

When short of time and manually submitting mileage at month end, I had to record a long journey as a single entry return trip. This resulted in omitting the mileage covered whilst at the location (IE. I underreported/under claimed the total mileage) - several days later I got an email querying how I covered so many miles.I replied immediately providing an explanation; however, it was another several days before I received a response meaning the deadline for submission was missed.

I think this business merits a study to evaluate how a company with such poor products can remain in business for so long - I do not recommend.

In future I will avoid working for any company which uses TMC.

DON'T USE THIS APP

DON'T USE THIS APP, It's not accurate, it does not auto track and will not save your trips at all. When contacting them to try and sort it I'm left with just use the website and fill it all in manually for every trip!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. It's honestly a joke of an app AVOID if you can. I'm forced to use it for work unfortunately otherwise I wouldn't go near.

Don’t do business with these jokers

Look at the app reviews on Android and iOS, TrustPilot, basically anywhere anyone can express themselves about this “app”. They’re a disgrace.

Truly awful

My experience was probably less painful than some of my colleagues but so few of the people at TMC know how the system actually works and certainly couldn't resolve my issues when I first started. It was three months of absolute hell for me, now it's just painful.... My colleagues on the other hand are going through far worse than I had it as they are still running hire cars and are potentially losing money each month until a fix can be found. I really am not sure why any company would choose this service.

Terrible!

Awful app enforced by employer as nothing better out there it seems. Rarely gets the mileage correctly which is supposed to be its entire function! Having to then justify to it why mileage differs to what it thinks you should have taken!

Tedious and time consuming

Tedious app forced on me by my company. Takes up far too much of my time.
It's the worst app I've ever used, bar none. Auto-track doesn't work properly, rarely starting to record where the journey begins. But that's ok because you can manually edit the journey...do a few journeys between clients and then fill in start and finish postcodes and mileages if you have an hour or two spare. And don't ever deviate from the route it thinks was best or you'll have to explain that too. I'd be giving this rubbish minus stars if i could.

Efficient and attentive workmanship

Efficient and attentive workmanship. I had my large driveway covered in block paving. Works complete in 5 days.Reliable, hardworking, and polite staff. Works went so well, that this company even got a contract from one of the neighbpurs.

Frustrated with service.

I'm a iinet customer that has been migrated over to TMC and I have been unable to send emails for 3 days. This was also a problem late last year. I have contacted them and they have referred me back to iinet. Basically, bounced around with no resolution and no feedback or timelines provided as to a fix. Very frustrating.

What aabsolute disgracen absolute disgrace of an app…

What an absolute disgrace of an app doesnt correctly record milage sends wrong info giving hard working staff members substantial financial penalties and drag there heels fixing the issue. Do better or give up

This app is shockingly awful

This app is shockingly awful. I would have more luck asking my 4 year old to remember my mileage each day and add it all up at the end of the month. The tracking system is so inaccurate so I have to manually upload every single journey which is extremely time consuming considering how many miles I do. Once I have spent hours doing that, it wipes all my inputs so I have to re enter everything. Do not waste your time.

Nothing but problem's

So far I have had nothing but problems. I would recommend this company to absolutely no one. TMC combined with an electric car equals one big headache. Reply to your response. I have called, emailed and called again. I have spent hours on the phone so far and with many more to come.

The app is completely unreliable

The app is completely unreliable. Often it fails to track mileage at all, or it records journeys of over 50 miles as about 3 miles. Today after tracking it threw up an error message stating that there is an error with the postcodes (which it has chosen to use.)

App consistently crashes ,unable to…

App consistently crashes ,unable to close down month says mileage wrong .ask for help er ok ...no one answers phone ,live chat get back to you in 2 days (sometimes).email get back to you in 2 days (maybe) .when you get a response (sometimes) its says I can see you have logged so many miles and please see user guide..never answer your question only solution copy of user guide wich is impossible to read on a phone, we don't all have PC,s and tablets at home..Mileage is always incorrect never matches odometer. Uninstall and install reboot phone ,been stuck on loading screen for 2 days . Designed to take money from your wages saying that you have personal milage, wich i dont only use car for business trips..daylight robbery.. at least Robin Hood had the decency to wear a mask..
