The Events Calendar Reviews 

The Events Calendar is a really good plugin! I had an issue trying to filter out events from the main page and showing them on a category page, and Paul was able to give me a solution that worked. I'd recommend this plugin to anyone who needs to show events on their website.

Beware the autorenewing subscription, which will increase year-on-year without warning. It's increased by over $100 per year in five years, and this subscription is in fact only for "premium support". How premium is the support? Enough to justify $179? Well - the plugin itself works OK : clunky to use at times and some weird workarounds that you have to use, but the support team haven't replied to my messages at all. This all feels a bit... scammy. I guess partly my fault for not keeping on top of why a plugin was debiting sharply increasing amounts of money over PayPal each year, but it's quite obviously a business model of relying on enough people not noticing what's happening.

The RSVP feature is nice and simple to use and gives me just what I wanted to set a number of event spaces and allow people to book right in the event post it relates to. I used the support email to clarify one thing and Iris was quick to respond and put me on the track. Great plugin.

IRIS WAS UNBELIEVABLE! She made it possible for a non-techy person like me to be able to troubleshoot and fix the problem I was having with my Events Pro/Virtual Calendar! She send detailed instructions to me several times until we got it working. She even followed up the day after I reported I got it fixed. Very comforting and informational. You could almost see her smiling as I read her emails! She was very attentive and went out of her way to see that I was happy with the plugins and the final output of the calendar. Thanks, Iris:)
