Impossible to receive customer service. Been emailing them 2-3 times weekly for THREE MONTHS. I initially got 1 response from a "STEPHANIE" and have since received ZERO RESPONSE from any and all emails i can find for the company. Must have reached out 20 times at this point. No other way to contact them. So unbelievably frustrating. Terrible company. Who treats people like that?

Refunded without my consent...wen it was on its way to the mail. Now I lost my cards I'm pissed. I trusted this site but they are not trustworthy...they clda at least sent my cards jesus

Extremely hard to work with and unable to change things about orders, even the smallest mistakes despite being moments after purchase, they simply send you to usps to work with them. Never buying from this company again

I had been trying to unload some cards as I needed the money, but there are absolutely NO protections for the sellers. They only protect the buyers and I have been scammed three times by buyers. I took pictures of everything and listed them according to the condition guide on their website but each of the three times the buyer wasn't happy with the condition and demanded a refund. I asked for them to mail it back in that case and TCGPlayer just automatically stepped in and did a full refund and I never got any of the cards back. So beware sellers, there are people who will claim things and then keep your card and get their money back. I would recommend selling anywhere else.

Still dont understand how this shit site dosnt require I mages of cards when they cost 200+ ove recievd cards that are not as described and at this point my patience has ended i will no longer be using thos shit site and will happily pay more on ebay knowing I can see what im buying

TCGplayer advertised a sale offering 10% back on purchases which they failed to honor despite the purchase being with the site within the stated promotional period and showing up as TCGplayer in my billing statement. At no point was it indicated that my purchase was an exception to the promotion. I contacted them, thinking it would be an easy fix- the company then blamed me and offered no solution whatsoever.

Beyond this, the company has seen a notable decline in quality lately and I simply can't recommend using them for online purchases anymore when more reliable and trustworthy services like Card Kingdom or cheaper ones like Cardsphere exist. I don't care who you use as long as it's not them- TCGplayer won't be getting any more of my business!

90% of the orders I've done with them have been messed up in some way.
Also; I bought a couple boxes of cards BUT the price went up after so the seller cancelled my order saying they didn't have the product, BUT where selling the same boxes for more money. This has happened with singles also where the price has gone up so the cards I ordered were cancelled.
ALso, you have to Watch your cart closely because cards often go from .01 to $20 and will only give you a one time popup letting you know. I have even had this happen between the part I select to finalize my order and the part where it lists all the cards for review making it so they tried to jack my order up and hoped I wouldn't notice.
ALSo, The shipping changes often. I only ever select things that say "free shipping over $5) but it's a lie and they charge shipping no matter the amount, or recently instead of free (as advertised) it becomes "discounted shipping" which is just fraud.
ALSO, recently I tried to get an order ready for the black friday event, but they ended it 4 hours early (it takes Hours to arrange a cart of cards to not get fees. Frankly the time is Not worth the savings, which is getting less and less). I contacted customer service about it immediately and the person pretended like they were going to help, but said I'd have to put my order in before he could give any discounts and that he saw my cart had items in it and go ahead and put the order through and he'd talk to management. THEN after I put the order in he says they don't usually do that and he can't do anything... Which is also fraud.
I looked into them closer after this and found out they literally moved out of a state to stop a union from forming (firing everyone in the process), and have a reputation for being all around horrible. Now that I know (wish I'd looked into them sooner, obviously a company that breaks the law to screw over their employees will break the law with their customers too) I will never use them or ebay (the company that owns/controls them).

I bought a Pokémon card set on the 30th of october but until now I have gotten no updates, the costumer supoort refuses to answer and their page that lets us track the order has been down for 3 weeks.
I’ve been scammed for almost 20€.

Tcgplayer was once great, but now times are longer, products cost more, tcgpkayer direct takes weeks when it used to take 3 days. Orders are often wrong, cart opitmizer is horrible. Trying to even talk to a person about an issue is like pulling teeth to get thier garbage AI to give you the ability to send an email youll get responded to in a week maybe.

There are much better options these days.

This site is extremely good if you know how to buy from reputable sellers like E-Bay if you cannot do that, then I suggest you stay away from the site because you'll wind up like the people here, when they can just prevent the issues by having basic knowledge of not buying cards unless the seller is reputable and can prove they have it on hand and have a confirmed PSA certification. You also need to use common sense; don't buy from the cheapest sellers unless you know they are reputable.

The site was easy to use and extremely great for my experience.

I sold a bunch of items on tcgplayer and my account was terminated BECAUSE OF TCGPLAYER letting buyers scam me. They refunded a customer WITHOUT MY CONSENT, and the customer never sent the card back, after I supplied a prepaid tracking label. Then they terminated my account because THEY LET THIS HAPPEN and I messaged the buyer over 5 times about it with no response, no money back, and no card sent back. Well I never added a payout method and tcgplayer has officially stolen over $1200 of mine from items I've sold. Theft over $1000 is a felony in my state AND I WILL BE PRESSING CHARGES AND FILING A LAWSUIT! They sit and hide behind their emails as they dont have a phone number FOR THIS EXACT REASON. It takes them DAYS to respond back. Tcgplayer is nothing more than a scam site, plain and simple. I will be pressing charges for evey single thing i can, to the fullest extent of the law. Tcgplayer let's your cards get stolen without any recourse. Buyers can scam sellers left and right and tcgplayer is happy to let it happen.

Within one week of subscribing to them I have lost all faith. I opened a package they sent and marked delivered and it was missing a card. I login to report it, and find out they've refunded my last two orders instantly saying "there's something wrong with your account contact customer support". I can only submit a ticket and not talk to anyone and I've received zero response on either issue. Today I login and they have erased all my ordering history minus one package as if they're trying to get rid of any evidence that I paid money for other packages.

Company has gone under. Used to order all the time. Speculation is that another company bought out this one and has let off most if not all their actual workers. All the tcgplayer direct is only represented by A.I....

I bought my cards to be here in the mid-late October. They created a fake shipping label and then sent my cards 3 weeks later. Once I got them I didnt receive all the cards that I ordered. Had to go through my bank to get a refund, as the only representatives for tcgplayer are A.I.

Never buy from TCG Direct. They shipped an order with a fake tracking number. I reached out to support multiple times and after 2 days of dealing with their AI Customer Service I finally got in contact with a begrudging employee, 'Christian'. Mind you, they have no direct email or phone number you can contact, you HAVE TO use the chat bot, and it is programmed to give you as little information as possible while looping you around in endless circles. First the 'Christian' claimed the tracking number was only for internal use and was not a USPS tracking number, then proceeded to give me a link to view the tracking information which leads .. drum roll.. to an Error Page. When I tell him this, 'Christian' then proceeds to blame USPS for not updating their tracking information... which is odd since I was just told that it was not a USPS tracking number. The package still has not arrived. At this point I will either have to get a refund or force a charge back. I've only had issue when using TCG Direct. Individual sellers i have never had issue with.

TCGPlayer Direct is awful, takes weeks to receive product and multiple cards were missing.

This website is horrible. Allowing sellers to refund orders all the time just because they wanna look like they have good prices. Chances are if you order something for a good price it will get refunded. Looking for costumer help, good luck getting past the completely useless chatbot, I lost my patience at some point. Will never use this website again, will no longer use their prices as benchmark for anything.

They are selling the upcoming journey of discovery box for Final Fantasy TCG for double the market value. Don't waste your money.

When I try to order 20 cards that are under a dollar and the total with shipping and handling no matter how I optimize it it's come out to be over $45 there's a problem.
