I had a personal issue that needed to be reviewed and checked very carefully. A lady called Corinna was appointed from day one to help me, and the service she provided from that day, up to and including finally settling the matter for me, was faultless.

I was kept advised of progress throughout, with constant updates, advise, and guidance available, as and when it was needed.

On the odd occasion when I needed to speak to her, and she was not available, I would receive a call-back after leaving a message.

Overall I received a first class service and could not have expected anything better. Highly recommended.

We instructed Taylor Emmets as our solicitors for a house sale. They were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond throughout. Particular mention for Ellena Brown who was a brilliant contact - she got back to us super quickly and nothing was too much trouble. She really made the selling process, especially in those crucial final weeks, as smooth as it could be and supported us every step of the way. Wouldn't hesitate to instruct Taylor Emmet again.

Absolutely Rubbish and I am very disappointed in them! Their solicitor who too me on as her client; showed bias towards the Child Social Worker who took me to court without my knowledge and consent. She failed to fully appreciate or understand the situation in which; I was in nor did she understand or empathise with the fact she were dealing with a vulnerable client.

This law firm did not get my family the outcome it deserved, leaving me to find another Solicitor (I had to go through at least 2 more law firms to find this solicitor), all the while my very young children at the time were going through a lot of distress, while watching me being humiliated in front of other parents, because of the decisions of Dina Martin then headteacher of the primary Academy/School, who kept communication with this social worker, helping him make an even bigger mess of my case and; further affecting my relationship with my children to the detriment of their well being.

Very little was done to rectify any mistakes and bad decisions made in my case; leaving me to go through their company complaints procedure, while under the stress of finding another solicitor. There was no show of emotional intelligence by the firm or their solicitor; towards the amount of emotional stress I was in as a vulnerable adult at the time I was their client.

The solicitor was in constant contact with social worker in question without my knowledge and consent.

This is a ridiculously expensive law firm for the poor services it offered me; I was treated like I was being "difficult"; without any appreciation for what my family was going through at the time.

Absolutely appalling! The solicitor who was given my case was at the beck and call of the Social Worker, who took the case to the Family courts under unwarranted child protection proceedings, without my knowledge and consent; and while attempting forced removal of my children out in public and through the domestic violence staff/volunteers he had assigned to me (2009 t0 2015).

If I recollect correctly this law firm ended up representing the Child Social Services (now Child Safeguarding Sheffield) when I found myself a new law firm for representation in the Family Courts (please note the FAMILY COURTS not the CRIMINAL COURTS).

The second time we have used Taylor and Emmet - and Oliver Simpson in particular. On both occasions the service has been professional, courteous and prompt. With this experience behind us we would not go anywhere else.

Highly professional & friendly service, always received a prompt response to any queries that arose during the sale of my property in Bakewell, Philippa Newbold's experience and local knowledge is second to none. Simply can't recommend Taylor Emmet enough particularly for anyone buying or selling in the Peak District.

The conveyancing department at Taylor and Emmet are very proactive. They dealt promptly with all matters and kept me fully informed at every stage of our sale and purchase. Whenever I emailed them, a response was usually received within minutes from Lindsey or Danielle. They were very helpful with some specific requests to ensure disability equipment could be in place on the day of the move. They constantly chased and prompted a less efficient solicitor further along the chain to ensure everything stayed on track. I have used Taylor and Emmet previously for conveyancing and their service is consistently excellent.
