I had a very good experience with Flavio, as he helped me with a particular situation involving RSUs and double taxation. He was patient, very knowledgeable, communicative, and with an impecable english.

Scam, so dangerous

To be honest, one of my biggest concerns after moving to Spain has been the tax system here. However, the advisors at TaxDown provide fast, professional, and clear answers whenever you have questions or doubts. The advisors are excellent, and the service has been outstanding. I highly recommend them.

Turns out they've been getting my return wrong the last two years. Don't include information on money paid into a pension plan. They barely answer emails. They just want you to pay, do it via the app with no contact. Minimal effort for something you can do yourself.

Simply couldn't even use the service, luckily I didn't pay for it as I had it as a perk from Revolut.

The Live subscription which is the 2nd expensive one, is normally charged 45€ per year which is how much many gestores would charge for the declaration.

Now, after you give them access to your tax information (very private information) and after you provide additional information they tell you "oh no! this is too hard, we need you to pay 140 euros more!!!!" and I am not autonomo, I only had unemployment and a job in the same year... so so hard they need to charge you 3 times more than a normal gestor. Ah, and please note that at this stage they don't even tell you the normal result of the declaration, so my borrador says I have to pay. I will maybe pay them, to find out that they cannot do anything and on top of that I have to pay hacienda. This is a scam, hey pay us a lot to tell you we cannot help you... Please, do everybody a service and give work to real people that will charge you much less and will take care of you much better without any useless AI fluff.

I Thank Tax Consultant Daniel for his amazing professionalism and patience. Specially as an English speaker , we have many doubts on filing Tax and moreover correctly. Client support is terrible. It seems that they have started to use AI for client support and they have a terrible mess. They charge you double for the annual subscription and no one has explained me why. Their calculations are wrong and no one is really taking ownership of my case. I have changed to renta web and is way much better.

TaxDown is not suitable if you are an autónomo in Spain or dealing with foreign income, double taxation, or salary + dividends.

After 3+ months, they never answered the core question: how to declare mixed income correctly. Payments came combined (salary + dividends), and they could not explain how to split, what amounts to declare, or which dates to use.

I received generic replies, contradictory instructions (monthly vs per payment), no calculations, no real guidance. A scheduled call was missed by them with no resolution. Using an AI/LLM to answer my questions is faster and more trustworthy than taxdown, taxdown are NOT accountants, they do not know what they are doing, they are SELLERS, they are here to sell a product, not to help you thus they simply won't help you! You will pay to have to figure it all out by yourself.

Be careful. This service did not provide clear or actionable support in a real case. Taxdown takes days to respond to e-mails and respond with generic worse than AI generated answers because they avoid answering questions, they miss deadlines, miss calls, miss e-mails, do not answer and do not clarify questions. Taxdown charges you and effectively taxdown gets nothing done.

Super attentive and responsive in a very short time

I use Taxdown's service for my tax declaration. They solve all doubts promptly and the support is very good. The application is also very simple to use. I have the highest tier service as I need a custom declaration for foreigners.

The Team at TaxDown has been incredibly helpful in setting me up as an Autonomo. The team was incredibly patient and supportive throughout the process, answering all my questions and managing the relationship directly with the Tax Agent. Without TaxDown, I am not sure that I would have succeeded, and I know that it would have taken a lot longer than leaving it to the experts at TaxDown!

The process is quite simple and effective. The User interface is very clean and all the parameters are explained with clear examples.
With TaxDown, we have options to file the IncomeTax returns before the official start date, which is very good.

I experienced unauthorized charges from this company without having an active subscription or having given consent. Even more concerning is that the charges were made using banking details I never knowingly shared with them.

This raises serious concerns about how personal and financial data is being obtained, stored, and used. Transparency and consent are fundamental when handling customer information, and in this case, both seem to be lacking.

Additionally, customer support has been unhelpful — responses appear to be automated, and I have not been able to get a proper answer from a real person regarding this issue.

I have requested a refund and the deletion of my data. Situations like this undermine trust and should be addressed immediately. I strongly advise others to be cautious.

They are crooks
I subscribed for the full contract 239 euro and asked before if it includes moedelo 720 and 721 they confirmed after that they charge me 250 euro only for a simple 721 form with 21 coins I delivered everything so this is a very bad company .
Luckily a canceled everything 1 day later before the 14 days where over they haven too pay me back ,if they do not pay me I will take legal action .

I honestly regret paying for this service.

I booked and paid for a consultation expecting a professional, modern setup. No link, no video call, no clear instructions. At the last minute I’m told the advisor will call me by phone, which is useless when you don’t have good coverage at home. This was never made clear upfront.

When I explained that I needed the appointment online, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. After paying, it’s almost impossible to find available appointments, and when you finally do, the experience feels improvised and poorly managed.

Although you never know which staf will be answering to your email and reply I got an excellent service from text down and excellent resolution.

I paid my subscription plan one month before the tax declaration was to close and i explained my situation to them.
I was in contact communication with them to provide all the informations to make my tax declarations for the past years with my crypto assets.
They didn´t do the job with the crypto declaration to the end and told me that they will do it after i present my declaration for this year.
I had to write to them serval times for them to correct the errors made in the calculation, until today 29/11/2025 i am still waiting for the correction and they keep saying the department is checking for the errors and nothing. more than 500€ gone.
The customers service and service is not recommended. The worse is that they keep changing the financial advisors and you have to explain from the beging each time a new advisor comes up and which solution do they give...
If you value your time, money and mental health look for other companies...

Calculation said I would need to give back 650 euros. Did the exact same calculation with the official RENTA page and it turned out that they would have to give me back 200 euros.

They did not want to give the money (45€) for the app as they have “done their job”.

I worked in Customer Support most of my life and I know bugs and issues can happen any time. They took zero ownership and therefore I cannot recommend the app to anyone.
