Quick and accurate

I've been using Taxdown for 5 years, but last year, since they stopped being a startup. They have become an eager corporation reigned by AI bots. Fortunately, after a lot of pressure my request was managed, but to be honest next year I'm going back to regular old Gestor....

Please stop sending me emails and text messages. You already know that I do not qualify for a tax refund, yet you contacted me claiming that I was eligible and would receive $1,200. This raised my hopes unnecessarily and wasted my time.

If I am not actually eligible, then do not send me misleading messages suggesting otherwise. I would appreciate it if you removed my email address and phone number from your contact list and stopped contacting me in the future.

Very nice automated service, two clicks and I got big tax deduction.

No answers, ignoring all the questions. Support doesn’t exist. Don’t recommend

Paid the Pro plan, and as I owned Crypto, it was already more expensive. Now they make me pay other 400 euros for "traceability" issues, when they already did my taxes on the previous years and there was never an issue.

After several times asking why, they just repeat the same over and over without clarifying anything.

This situation leaves me questioning whether previous returns were reviewed properly or whether I am now being charged for a service whose necessity has never been clearly explained.

Terrible. I paid a full package and I had to rush to another asesor the last 2 days before lodging the renta because TaxDown completely missed my data. They're a very dangerous company. Unless you're a regular employee with very very basic renta, stay away.

Very bad experience! First it looks like its all for free, but then you are told to upgrade to being even able to use all services. You want to talk to an advisor and they are booked for weeks, so you have to wait and then they assign you random person, interns or whatever. definetly no experts. overall the platform is not working well or at all, I cannot recommend at all and for me it feels like its just about getting money from the people and not even providing a basic service. Dont do it!!!!

I subscribed to the FULL plan expecting a smooth, high-quality experience, but instead I’ve run into confusion and frustration around billing and support.

I was asked to pay an extra €30 that was never clearly explained, and trying to resolve it has been difficult.
So basically they sell you a plan, you pay, then they cuff you with extra charges cause your case is “difficult”? Un transparent, misleading.

The premium plan covers nothing. You get a call with an asesor after weeks??? What is premium about this.

Any other messaging option leads you to customer support that seems to be acting as tech support and asesores experts in the same time? Probably gpting answers.

Customer support is very slow, and getting help feels like it requires jumping through multiple hoops.

Overall, it often feels like you’re left to figure things out yourself rather than getting clear, timely assistance. At that point, it becomes hard to understand the benefit of paying for a premium subscription when basic support and billing clarity are lacking.

I wouldn’t trust them with data and billing info. I will block them so they don’t accidentally charge more next year.

I purchased the "FULL VIP" plan in June 2025 to manage my Spanish non-resident taxes while living abroad. It was a complete disaster. Despite the premium price, TaxDown filed nothing on my behalf.

The advice I received was chatGPT generated answers that were consistently incorrect and contradictory, covering everything from deadlines to my actual residency status. I ended up having to verify all data with the AEAT and file the forms myself to avoid penalties.

To make matters worse, after ignoring my refund request in October 2025, they auto-renewed my subscription in February 2026 for another €239, giving only three days' notice and ignoring their original end-date commitment. I have now filed a formal complaint with the OCU. If your tax situation is even slightly complex (international income, non-resident, etc.), save your money. You will likely end up doing the work yourself anyway.

I contracted TaxDown's FULL VIP plan in June 2025 as a Spanish non-resident, specifically to handle my tax obligations including filing Modelo 210 forms. Over the entire subscription period, they filed nothing on my behalf.
Their advisors provided incorrect and contradictory information on multiple occasions, including wrong deadlines, wrong tax models, and incorrect assumptions about my fiscal residency status. I had to verify everything directly with the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) and ultimately filed all models myself.
When I requested a refund in October 2025 after months of useless responses, I received no resolution. In February 2026, they renewed my subscription for another €239 with only 3 days' notice and before the end date they had originally promised.
I have since filed a formal complaint with the OCU (Spanish consumer association) and cancelled my subscription. Total paid: €478. Total value received: zero.
If you have a complex tax situation, non-resident, property sale, international income, do not rely on this service. You will end up doing everything yourself anyway.

Taxdown make tax returns in Spain so easy. It's fast, efficient and the advice provided is really helpful for those of us unfamiliar with the Spanish tax system.

The online capture of information is very helpful, did you know you can claim for veterinarian and gym expenses?

TaxDown rocks and it’s much cheaper and less expensive than the tax attorneys I have used in the past. They have optimized their use of AI and human customer support very effectively.

I had a very good experience with Flavio, as he helped me with a particular situation involving RSUs and double taxation. He was patient, very knowledgeable, communicative, and with an impecable english.
