Outstanding customer service
We recently had a stressful situation when our original flooring supplier let us down just days before our scheduled fitting. The delivery was supposed to arrive by Wednesday ahead of a Monday installation, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. On Thursday, we reached out to Stories Flooring, who invited us into the store to see how they could help. That’s where we met Daniel, who was absolutely fantastic from the very start. Despite our tight timeframe, he took the time to walk us through the available options without putting any pressure on us to make a rushed decision. Instead, he encouraged us to go away and make sure we were completely happy with our choice. I returned to the store the following day to confirm our order and asked if the flooring could be delivered on the first drop on Monday morning. Daniel assured me he would do everything he could to make it happen. Later that same day, I received a message from Daniel confirming he had arranged for the flooring, coming from Liverpool, to be delivered by 2pm on Saturday. To our surprise, it did arrive early Saturday morning! We are honestly blown away by the level of customer service we received. Daniel went above and beyond to help us out of a difficult situation, all while remaining friendly, professional, and completely pressure free. From start to finish, our experience with Stories Flooring, especially Daniel, has been exceptional. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much!

Lovely product
After visiting the warehouse we selected the flooring we liked. The next day we were told it was not readily available so we researched products and asked for samples to be sent out for two other products. There were problems with delivery which was due to poor courier service. Eventually we received 6 sample boards of each of the selected products. The floor has now been laid and the appearance is stunning. Hope it has durability to match it’s appearance, I’m sure it will.

We have changed our sample delivery service from Evri to Amazon now so should help moving forward. We would happily have sent another. As you say, no sample received = no order for us. Always harsh getting a 1 star for a missed free sample to a customer when we would happily send again.

Thanks for the feedback. Are you sure this was from us? We did deliver a floor to you back in November 2025 which was signed for and not left outside. All our products are wrapped to pallets and then also shrink wrapped. Seems strange to get feedback 5 months later when we were not alerted to any issue at the time.

I ordered some samples on the 3rd…
I ordered some samples on the 3rd March, didn’t arrive, lost by EVRi so were resent by Amazon, also lost! A month later still no samples. Initially customer service was good but then no response to my contact. I gave up. Shame as I liked the look of the flooring as it was hopefully exactly what I’m looking for.

The good the bad and the ugly
The good the bad and the ugly. The good it arrived on time and undamaged. The bad, there were no instructions on the particular click system in any of the boxes and I phoned the company and asked for some instructions was given a video on how to lay herringbone when this was not herringbone and did not give any advice on the particular click system .the ugly, I’ve laid lots of click flooring. This is the most unforgiving difficult and frustrating flooring system I’ve ever laid. It is not suitable for DIY or most professionals unless you’re being paid by the hour.

Sample ordered 23/4, damaged in transit so returned to us and then a new sample resent 26/3 subsequently delivered. Pretty harsh 1 star review. Would love this to be revised as it did arrive having been resent following damage outside our control.
Asked Stories flooring to delay…
Asked Stories flooring to delay delivery, phoned well in advance and they said it was sorted. Phoned again when I got delivery confirmation and they said I was receiving that because they updated the address to come to them. Pallet delivery arrived outside my house. Shoddy service, wish I used a different company there's lots to choose from online with same products and prices. Unserious business just laugh down the phone. Save yourself the stress.
