I took my monitor into my local store…
I took my monitor into my local store and was told I could have my $10 rewards coupon in a month. It's been over a month and it's been nothing but excuses and idiocy as to why I have not received my $10. When I finally did get a code out of them that is supposedly associated with my rewards account number,turns out they gave me a fake code. The error says "Coupon couldn't be redeemed: The entered coupon doesn't exist. Please double-check or reenter to make sure the 16-digit coupon code is typed correctly." Except for maybe the extremely rare occasion I would never and will never shop with them and I definitely will not give them free things to refurbish aka recycle. 1000% done with staples drama. I gave them every chance in the world and several reps and supervisors could not do one simple task.Very pathetic and sad.

I placed a large order of school…
I placed a large order of school supplies. However, somehow one of the binders ordered as red instead of pink. I contacted the virtual assistant within the 30 minute timeframe the company gives you to correct errors to orders. But because the virtual assistant did not get to the order in time during our conversation I was told no edits could be made to the order. I had two options. 1) Cancel the entire order and replace it all over again or 2) Wait for the order to be shipped/delivered and take the one incorrect item to the store and trade it out for what I needed. (Which would defeat the whole point of online shopping). I ended up calling the customer service line and the representative told me the same thing. So, I said just cancel the entire order. I will take my business elsewhere. I was offering to pay the difference if there was an up charge, etc. But he told me there was nothing that could be done. So, he canceled my order, so he says. Now, 5 hours later, I have received an email that the order has shipped anyways. So now I have to still go to the store or a UPS store to return the items. Highly dissatisfied. Poor customer service. The representative said, “I’m sorry this has not been an easy process for you”. I said you are exactly right.. nothing about it has been EASY and that’s what your slogan is supposed to be???

I placed an order for the first time and I do not have an online with them. After about 4 days, which is way past my due delivery date, staples cancelled my entire order. I paid through paypal. I called them to find out and I am being lied to that I am a restricted customer, and I cannot order from them. They claim I have an account with them. My email did not match with what they were associating the information with. She refused to tell me anything else. The agent agreed with me first and then she changed her story and started lying. Shame on you staples. Staples is a fraud company.

On 5/16/23 I went to the Staples…
On 5/16/23 I went to the Staples located at Plainview Nassau NY. The store had 5 customer including me. I got inline behind one customer at printing. A male employee was taken a customer and asked me from far away what do you need? I asked with a sign to approach to me. He state he was taken the prevoius customer. Minutes layer a young female scream from the back of the printing area: "what do you want"? I asked if she can approach? She got closer but anyway was long distance in bewteen and she asked me kind of aggravated, "what do you want"? And although I asked to came closer, because I wasn't about to scream my purpose of my business; she keep saying what do you want? For a moment I thought she was afraid of any contagious decease, that is a valid reason not to get closer, but her tone an attitude demonstrated aggravation and disgust. So I thanked her and asked for a manager but the supervisor state to me he doesn't have knowledge of printing. And added the two employees in printing area where are only ones with printing knowledge. Which was surprising to me. Well It's a shame that Staples is in hands of people that doesn't know how to be attract business. On the contrary they repelled customers. I have been recently in printing business and employees are well mannered and helpful. I took my business to other store and I'm sure other people have been doing the same. I noticed Staples is not that busy and maybe if they train employees on how to handle customers the store may attract more customers. I would hate to see another store closing. We have so many as it is.
DON'T FALL FOR THEIR BOGUS SERVICE CONTRACTS!!
I bought an HP printer from Staples in West Seattle, WA. I learily purchased a 4-year service contract that , I was told, "if anything goes wrong, just call us and we will get it fixed or replace the printer"! LIE! A couple springs came loose from my paper tray making the tray a pain to open and close. When I contacted Staples, I was told to contact Asurion (their repair people) with the issue and so I did and I got the answer I expected...."Sorry your contract doesn't cover this issue"! I am so ANGRY! Now I have a broken tray with nobody to fix it. Thanks, Staples, for selling me a bogus 4 year contract that is a SCAM!! I will NEVER buy anything computer-related from Staples again! Screw them!!
I’ve been using them for my printing…
I’ve been using them for my printing jobs for over two years now and everything is always ready and done exactly according to the specifications I needed and great quality work. Their prices are better than places that have to ship so I’m happy to order and pick up locally from them and save money.
Additional charge and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
I had an additional charge on my card that I was refuting as I had returned the item. Calls to Staples NEVER were returned or answered. They LOST ME AS A CUSTOMER! I had to pay the cost of the item on my card even after trying to fix this for 3 months. Terrible customer service and I will let everyone know.

I am always pleased with the service I receive from Staples (Green Valley). The Staff is always friendly and ready to serve. During this particular visit both Teddi and Alex were exemplary. I was simply replacing printer cartridges and after Bryan got on the radio to the team with my request these young ladies had my product at the register ready to go before I walked up. They were respectful of both my time and my Business.

Abuse of trust
Abuse of trust. Used their computer and logged in with my google account. Since I got home, my start up page has been staples. This is invasive marketing behavior and breaks my trust with the organization.

I was absolutely in a tough spot because my client needed some last second changes to multiple documents right before a major meeting. I arrived at this Staples location from out of town in an Uber trusting that they could get it done. Not only did Carey S., the Print & Marketing Production Supervisor, save the day, the whole team stayed after closing long enough to complete the mission. The meeting was flawless the next day due in large part to the grace, professionalism and teamwork afforded me by this Waltham MA Staples team. Thank you so much!!
Disrespect by an customer
Despite my complaint letter given to the immediate supervisor on Jan. 8, 2023, I have not gotten a response regarding my complaint regarding "Diane," an employee who disrespected me. I feel devalued as a customer due to the fact that she has ignored me for asking her a question. Moreover, her supervisor took after her, and did not ask to apologize to me. Question: what steps will Staples take to remedy this situation?

They keep lying
They keep lying. Since August they did not ship our check presenters.
Avoid deceptive , dishonest misleading company . They promise stock no one else has but never deliver .
Worst online company I have tried to work with in 30 years ! Ordered 8 printers and took 3 days and at least 10 calls to be told they were shipping since showed in stock from day one. They confirmed after calls they had them in their whse bec stock was critical to find.
After those calls end even visiting local Staples store to follow thru all looked good and order was done . Followed up a day later with call and was told order had been cancelled and no stock yet no one called or emailed there was no stock. Incompetent and dishonest is most accurate description I can find. Their deception and dishonesty cost us a lot of time and money lost .

I used a gift card to purchase an office chair for in-store pickup (to save $13 in "handling fees"). I received an email saying it was out of stock at that store, and that they were refunding my order, but if I wanted to transfer to another pickup location, I could call. Well, I called. They said they could cancel the order and place a new one for me. But the gift card I paid with won't be refunded for FOUR DAYS. So because their system is too slow to recognize when something is sold out, I have to give them $160 in gift card money for four days before I can re-purchase.
