This new stairlift was installed in March 2026 and just under 6 months later it failed to operate. I am sure you would agree, a major failure after 6 months is unacceptable.
On the plus side, the following day a technician arrived and replaced the faulty battery charger and batteries.

Start to finish excellence
From the first contact with their representative to the survey and installation their work has been faultless. The team are very polite, helpful and efficient and the whole process was incredibly quick. No hard sell, just great advice. We didn’t think it would be possible to fit one for our narrow steep staircase but when surveyed we discovered it was - and the result has changed my husband’s life: he had been sleeping on the couch for three months prior to this. Thank you, Stannah.

Excellent expedited delivery and installation in just 6 working days
During the sales visit the Stannah salesman was very thorough and professional, spending a whole morning to explain the options, measure the staircase, and measure the user. There was no 'hard sell' at all, and the final selection and price were exactly in line with what had already been researched with ChatGPT.
The salesman committed that Stannah's KPI of installation time from order was 10 working days maximum. As my son, overseeing the purchase and installation, was departing for overseas within the 10 days, Stannah were requested for a prioritized and expedited delivery which was accomplished with manufacture and installation in just 6 working days.
Stannah provided a faultless and seamless purchase experience and quality product fully deserving the five stars of this review. Thankyou to everyone at Stannah.

The representative of this company was most helpful, honest and explained the process in a clear and succinct way. There was no pressure to purchase my stairlift but on completion of his visit I had all the information needed to discuss with my wife. We purchased the stairlift the next day and it was installed in accordance with our timescale in an effective and efficient way. we were impressed with both the sales and installing members of staff.
