My mum’s stairlift has stopped working and is still under warranty. Senior Stairlift’s invoice clearly states that they provide “24 hour phone support”, yet I have had to make several attempts to contact the company without receiving a response.

The situation is particularly distressing because my mum is now unable to get upstairs independently. She was also unable to attend church, which is her only opportunity for social interaction.

This morning, the company contacted me and promised that someone would telephone my brother at 12 pm, as he would be at my mum’s house and available to discuss the fault and be guided through resolving it.

Despite this specific commitment, nobody contacted him. My brother had to leave at 2 pm, and the opportunity to assist him while he was there was missed. My mum remains unable to get upstairs.

I find this level of service unacceptable. A stairlift is essential equipment for someone who relies on it to access their own home, and the advertised 24-hour support should mean something when customers genuinely need help.

I understand that equipment can develop faults, but I expect a company to respond to its customers, honour its commitments and provide timely assistance, especially when the product is still under warranty.

At the time of writing, the problem remains unresolved. I hope Senior Stairlift takes this complaint seriously and urgently arranges a solution.

Arran came out quickly, advised appropriately of options available, didn’t even take up the offer of a cup of tea, played with the dog, very friendly and helpful

Had our stairlift fitted from Senior stairlifts, all i can say is they were brilliant from start to finish, Tony L the Engineer who fitted the lift was fantastic, he was efficient clean and very courteous, took plenty of time to ensure me and my wife were happy with everything. Would Recommend to anyone

Had our stairlift fitted this morning by Raith Stringer and engineer from senior stairlifts and he was very professional and polite, he installed everything within 2half Hours and then demonstrated everything to me and made sure I understood how everything worked and was comfortable with it , a very nice and friendly chatty person and very good at his job , my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the service we've received.

I would like to take this opportunity to say that Don and Domanic who fit my chair stair lift today went above and beyond in all expectations in their workmanship and politeness.From calling me to say they would be with me in an hour , which they were.Their professionalism went above and beyond.Thank you senior stair lifts ,Don and Dominic.

Both Raith and Cassius arrived promptly, got straight to work installing my parents stairlift. Both were polite, clean and tidy and took time to show us how the stairlift worked. The whole service from senior stairlift has been great.

Quick response to fix our stairlift problem. Dominic, the engineer, contacted us prior to arrival to confirm when he would arrive. Although the problem turned out to be not what was expected Dominic diagnosed and fixed it to our satisfaction. He worked diligently and was unfailingly friendly and polite.
In addition, when I first reported the problem, Rachel was lovely and ensured that an engineer would be with us at the earliest possible time.
A good experience very well handled by the company. Excellent all round.
