The company is AWFUL!

The company is AWFUL!! Made an order 1x there was no way of me knowing I was in a subscription once I placed the order
Contact Smileactives spoke to Mary explained my situation. She did not want to cancel themselves membership. Finally I was told it was canceled through an email. Nope not true I once again get charged and received an email of a break down of what I will owe in the near future. I contacted my CC company to dispute it and closed my account. Once again I was charged because it’s a subscription. Now I’m on hold 45mins waiting to talk to my CC company as I type this. I would NEVER EVER recommend this company. They are awful business people.

Smileactives 'Money Back Guarantee' NOT

Received Smileactives kit in December. Drinking numerous cups of coffee throughout the day perhaps made the product ineffective for me. On Jan 10, 2026, I received a 2nd shipment I had not requested, along with a $47.90 charge on my CC. When I called for return instructions, I was told it was a 'subscription.' I advised I had not understood the original transaction as such, but was advised the sub would be canceled & credit issued if the unwanted shipment was returned promptly. It was returned the following day, in it's original packaging, & I paid the postage. After 3 unacknowledged emails to Smileactives questioning my 'Money Back Guarantee' refund, it is now March 11 & NO REFUND!

This company is nothing but a scam

This company is nothing but a scam. Product doesn’t work and once they have your credit card information, they signed you up for automatic shipments and subscription without your knowledge. They make it next to impossible to cancel and continue to keep you on the hook. Don’t take the bait. Cancel as soon as possible. They will not refund your total charge but cut your losses and end the subscription. I lost $20 but that was better than any alternative. They even go as far as trying to sell you another product.

This company sucks

This company sucks. The reason I say that is because they have a hidden membership that you don't anything about when you order the product, you have no idea that you become a member, then it's hard as hell to get out of it without losing money.
If you return the product, it costs you money to return, I'm totally pissed off. Bad business! And the product is not that great!

They send huge amounts of the product

They send huge amounts of the product, way more than I could ever use in three month. I had to report them to the BBB.

But... it is a good product that you ADD to your regular toothpaste.

Their electric toothbrush is fabulous!

Horrible company

Horrible company, spent 45 mins on the phone to cancel my auto pay because their product doesn't do ANYTHING! Now they are still trying to bill me! RHN FROM THIS COMPANY! If I could do a 0/5 stars I would!

It deserves a zero

It deserves a zero. After receiving the product a few days ago, I read the reviews. Thankfully I did as I was signed up for auto shipped which I NEVER asked for OR was told about. I was able to cancel via PayPal. Also, I thought I was receiving 2 full sized bottles and instead received 2 travel size bottles. Will never buy again or recommend no matter how the product works which based on performance reviews I shouldn’t expect much🙁

Unauthorized subscription which I tried…

Unauthorized subscription which I tried to cancel. They wouldn’t do it until ‘the next cycle’. $98 for two small samples and a full size tube of toothpaste plus some whitening pens. It has not whitened my teeth one iota. Terrible company and terrible product.

Do not purchase

This product does not work and once I realized they had me on not only one but 2 autoships I tried to cancel which was almost impossible. I wasn’t able to log in and had to call to cancel. BEWARE

Deceptive business Practices…

This company uses deceptive practices to sell its product. The come on price to get you started uses fine print that doesn't let you know you will not be charged $30 including shipping cost but $90 over three months and then it starts again 90 days later. The ad shows a large bottle but again after watching it again after shipment it let's you know again in small print at the bottom that the picture doesn't mean you will get this bottle.

What a total rip off

What a total rip off. I had no idea I was going to be charged monthly installments of over $80.00 after I placed my initial order. The customer service is horrible and the product is lousy. Save yourself a great deal of trouble and money by NOT getting involved with this company.

Causes anything but a smile!

The worst company experience I ever encountered. Less than adequate product results! Canceled my subscription, which I never wanted, then have attempted 6-7 times to pay my balance. Foreign operators continue to get it wrong. Website is worthless. DO NOT GET BAMBOOZELED

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. They sign you up for auto ship without your knowledge, even if you do not have an account. Then you have to create an account in order to cancel, but you have already been surprised with a new charge for over 70 dollars. Then when you go to cancel you somehow have a balance of 125 dollars that they want you to pay by installment or in full. Customer service is impossible. This is the biggest scam I have ever encountered. Not to mention the product does not work and it causes severe sensitivity. This is the absolute worst scammer on the internet.

I would rate this a ZERO if it were an…

I would rate this a ZERO if it were an option. The company's billing practices are horrible. You think you are signing up for an inexpensive BOGO offer, but it turns out to be a convoluted subscription that costs hundreds of dollars. On top of that, the product doesn't work!!! They do offer a 60-day MBG, but by the time you've given the product a fair shot, the return period is over. Customer service is oh so polite when they tell you, "Sorry for nothing".

Like the other consumers

Like the other consumers, this product does not work. And although I didn’t know they would continue charging my account, I canceled my ‘subscription’ in January. I have a confirmation email. Was charged again today. They refuse to cancel the payment. Stay away from Smileactive. The only reason they got a 1 star is you can’t review without one!
