If I could give zero stars I would. They sign you up for auto ship without your knowledge, even if you do not have an account. Then you have to create an account in order to cancel, but you have already been surprised with a new charge for over 70 dollars. Then when you go to cancel you somehow have a balance of 125 dollars that they want you to pay by installment or in full. Customer service is impossible. This is the biggest scam I have ever encountered. Not to mention the product does not work and it causes severe sensitivity. This is the absolute worst scammer on the internet.

I would rate this a ZERO if it were an option. The company's billing practices are horrible. You think you are signing up for an inexpensive BOGO offer, but it turns out to be a convoluted subscription that costs hundreds of dollars. On top of that, the product doesn't work!!! They do offer a 60-day MBG, but by the time you've given the product a fair shot, the return period is over. Customer service is oh so polite when they tell you, "Sorry for nothing".

Like the other consumers, this product does not work. And although I didn’t know they would continue charging my account, I canceled my ‘subscription’ in January. I have a confirmation email. Was charged again today. They refuse to cancel the payment. Stay away from Smileactive. The only reason they got a 1 star is you can’t review without one!

I’d give this product a minus 10 if I could. It does absolutely nothing 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 And when u order it, they just keep shipping u more and more and more even though u didn’t sign up for the subscription. And even after I emailed them and cancelled any future orders, they continued to send them and continued to bill my credit card. Simply put, Doesn't work! I saw no difference in the whiteness of my teeth using smileactives. In addition it took me several months to cancel a subscription I did not know I signed up for when I ordered what I thought was a sample. And finally, they LIE, in their ad they state 100% satisfaction, well how is it that this sight gives them a poor rating if 100% are satisfied. BUYER BEWARE!!!

WARNING!! Company is selling products that are harming consumers. I ordered this and used for about a week and it has caused serious gum damage and tooth sensitivity. The FDA needs to be alerted to this and investigate. I contacted the company and they said they would “probably” refund my money, minus the original shipping and handling, if I return the product back (also at my postage expense). This company shady (at best) and needs to be investigated, fined, and shut down.

SmileActive did not work as advertised. I saw no whitening results despite following all directions. The trial period wasn’t completed, and I was never given the chance to request a refund before additional shipments were processed.

On top of that, my subscription was mishandled, pending products were about to ship without my consent, and I should not have to return anything to get a refund. Customer service was unhelpful and unresponsive.

This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. I cannot recommend this product and do not trust the company’s claims or service.

This product is crap. I've used it 2 times a day for the last 4 weeks. There is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE. And, now I just saw they charged me for another shipment, which I DO NOT WANT. I certainly don't recall this being an automatic reship.

I was signed up for a subscription unknowingly. When I called to cancel they still charged my credit card. The product was horrible and made my teeth super sensitive and weak which led to a cracked tooth.

This website/product is a scam as well as a consumer nightmare. Somehow I've been charged for a monthly subscription that I didn't sign up for. And when you go to the website and try to "CHAT" to resolve your issue - you have to enter an email account to begin the chat. Ironic since I can't do that because I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT! and there is a charge of $118 on my card. I will be reporting them to my credit card company as well as online review sites.

Scam outfit. Trying to charge me for additional money after I canceled the subscription. DO NOT get involved with this company.

Terrible experience, very difficult to cancel. Billed for 3 months without received their poor quality product. Several calls and emails finally agreed to stop billing. Buyer beware

Will never use this company again. I cancelled my subscription and after 6 months they started charging my card all over again… When you try to cancel they definitely give you the run around. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE BACK MY MONEY… Product works ok but I can easily use strips.. This is it. I am done.. WARNING. DONT USE THE SUBSCRIPTION. THEY ARE A RIP OFF..

One star is still too much. I’ve been using it for 3 to 4 weeks and it hasn’t done a thing. No change or any whiting. It doesn’t matter how little of tooth paste you use, it turns it into I don’t know what. I even tried it without toothpaste. The pens don’t work well. If it was 50 cents I wouldn’t buy it. Save your money.

I believed I was making a one time product purchase. Thank goodness I checked this website and saw the other reviews. Upon looking back at my email confirmation, there was some tiny fine print saying I had signed up for a multi-month subscription. I’ve submitted my cancellation, so here’s hoping they honor it.

A scam — do not buy.
I purchased two products that did not work at all. Shortly afterward, I received an additional large product that I never ordered, yet my credit card was charged a significant amount without authorization.

I later discovered that I had been enrolled in an automatic subscription program without my consent, resulting in recurring unauthorized charges. This is an expensive subscription scheme implemented without customer approval.

I returned all products at my own expense and am still waiting for a refund. Customer service is virtually impossible to reach—there is no real support, only automated responses. The company refuses to refund shipping fees, which I had to pay both for the original order and for the returns.

I can confirm many of the negative reviews: hidden subscription fees, difficult cancellation processes, unauthorized credit card charges, and highly questionable business practices. Avoid this company.

I really should have read the reviews first. First of all, my teeth do not look whiter. The worst part is the customer service. The next shipment was automatically sent out very soon after I received the first shipment. When I texted with an agent to delay the shipment, they said it was already on it way. I could return it and I would be refunded for the product minus the shipping. Plus I had to pay for the shipping to return it. They charged my card $48. I paid $6 to ship it back. They refunded me $32. I am out $22 for something that didn't work. Please do not buy from this company.

Scam! Repeatedly charged my banking account month after month eventhough I canceled my subscription months ago. I have not received any product for months, but the keep taking money from my account every month. SCAM!

Keep sending you product. difficult to cancel, keeps going . Does not stop! Do not use it. Does not work better than over the counter whitening.
