Their Tretinoin products contain BHT which is a major environmental pollutant and an endocrine disruptor with scientists looking at how it may even affect fertility. Please stay away from these products.

Good product but let down by their customer services and random pricing. Waited a week for a reply to my query as to why my monthly subscription had increased over 60% from the introductory offer! Now £29.99 per month with no notification of the reason for the last £5 increase.

I started using my Skin + Me Daily Doser in early January after carrying out a patch test with no issues. After only around 4 nights of use, I developed a painful reaction on my face. It started as a stinging sensation, then turned into inflamed, itchy spots that eventually scabbed over and left red marks that lasted for months.

To be clear, I did not apply the treatment directly to my eye area and followed the instructions given. When I contacted Skin + Me, I was told it was likely periocular dermatitis and reassured that it should clear up within 7–10 days after stopping the treatment. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for me.

The reaction had a huge impact on my confidence and made me very unhappy. Having visible marks on your face for weeks and months is incredibly stressful, especially when you weren't expecting such a severe reaction from a personalised skincare service.

I appreciate that Skin + Me eventually refunded my subscription in full. However, I only received the refund after raising a formal complaint and repeatedly following up on the issue. I was really disappointed by how the rest of my complaint was handled. I felt like the impact the reaction had on me was dismissed, and despite explaining the ongoing effects and providing photos, I was told that no further compensation or goodwill gesture could be offered beyond the refund.

Following their advice, I also completed a further assessment with the prescribing team, resubmitted my timeline, concerns, and updated photos, but I did not receive any response or follow-up regarding the ongoing marks and the impact this had on me.

I understand that adverse reactions can happen with skincare products, and I'm not suggesting they happen to everyone. However, I expected a much more supportive and empathetic response from a company that promotes personalised, dermatology-led skincare.

I'm sharing my experience so that others are aware that while the treatment may work well for many people, there is still a risk of significant reactions, and in my experience, the support afterwards did not match the standard of care I had expected.

This skin care changed my life! I saw results within a week, brighter and clearer skin. Highly recommended product. Worth the price.

The products do not work I used them consistently and stuck to the routine and guidance provided. I have whiteheads, and it dried out my skin further and gave me more spots. I stuck to it for 16 weeks they claim a “purge period” it breaks out your skin even further do NOT buy. Also it is completely overpriced and the subscription prices are ridiculous.

I randomly filled in the Skin + Me survey that I came across online 6 months ago, something I never do! In fact, I also never write reviews, but Skin + Me has completely turned around the rosacea that I've been battling for years. And it started working within a week. No other product has improved my skin as much as Skin + Me and I've tried everything. All the bumps are gone and the redness has decreased significantly. I have actually gone out of the house without make-up on, something I would never have done before. It really works!

I was dubious, and I had a breakout at first which I never have, but 3 months on and my skin looks great. Today I got complemented on it and I said how do you mean my skin looks good. The person answered that it looks really smooth is glowing and is plumper.
So it may not be cheap but it works!

I'm giving four stars for now, due to the fact that I'm in my second month and still getting some peeling around my mouth the corner of my nose, hope that will stop soon. One thing I can say, is that my face is getting back that smooth textured and a little plump ness, that means its working and I'm loving it. I am not expecting miracles, but I would like to be able to look in the mirror and smile without feeling subconscious about my looks. Thank you Fariah. H
