Returned item that didn't fit

Returned item that didn't fit. Size stated on website nothing like what was received.
Company refused to give refund, claiming the product i returned was different to what they sent.

All specific details were supplied through the Shein app, website and multiple emails. I do not wish to waste any more of my time on this company. I hope other people see this and avoid losing money like I did.

FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD
Shien customer service is horrible and their inspection department is scam. So I bought a Nike sneaker worth £88 last month. I made a return with prove uploaded because it wasn't my size. Shein refunded half of my money giving reason because the shoes have been worn.

However, the defective returned item uploaded and sent from shien doesn't show it was my original returned item. I sent other proves to claim it was a wrong item they sent to me as defective. Shien refused to refund me fully. They are scam
Do not my branded shoes from them.

I need a law enforcement agency to help get my full refund.

I ordered a large amount from Shein as…

I ordered a large amount from Shein as I wanted 2 of every size, ensuring I had the right size in time for my holiday. I returned some items, including swimwear. I had a refund on the other items but not the swimwear. Shein said that the hygiene strips were not on there. They definitely were. Shein were holding back £118.25 of my money and refused to send the swimwear back to me, even though I had paid for them. This went on for approximately 6 weeks back and forth. I contacted Resolver and they helped me out. I messaged Shein through Resolver and eventually suggested I would be contacting Trading Standards and my bank. The next day I had the money immediately. Do not let Shein get away with their dodgy work. If you do need to send swimwear back, take photos of everything. Hygiene strips on the items, packaging etc. I'll NEVER buy from them again. Stealing is not a good way to run a business!

Ordered 25 items for holiday

Ordered 25 items for holiday , received parcel 8 items missing . Customer service just reply to say checked order and nothing missing . They are a rip off company and if you check reviews this happens multiple times and no one gets what they paid for . AVOID IF YOU DONT WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY !!!

Be wary & ensure you photo EVERYTHING…

Be wary & ensure you photo EVERYTHING on receipt of & return.
Ordered from them so many times without issue but recently seems to have been a bit of a change.
I’ve had various marked/ broken/ items not as advertised & have had issues obtaining refunds from them.
Sent back three swimwear items & they have said all came back to them without hygiene strips. Something isn’t adding up as they were all unopened items as I ordered the same items in different sizes & all three of these were in the same size.
They are now refusing to send the items back as well.

!AVOID! Would give minus if I could, 0 stars would be too generous!

Customer service is absolutely shocking. My item was sent somewhere else, I chased delivery company who provided me with an email which was then passed onto SHEIN. They have done nothing but made it difficult for me to try and resolve this in some way. Tried several times to speak with someone and was given generic pre-typed messages, told to wait 24hrs until I received a response.. didn’t happen! Further told wait 48hrs - SHOCK… didn’t happen either! I will not be buying anything from them again. AVOID!!!!

Certainly won’t be ordering swimwear…

7/7 full refund now issued but it shouldn’t have been the battle that it was in the first place.

6/7 Not refunded full amount owed with no evidence to explain why. Items returned in perfect condition so no reason for deductions that I can see!!

4/7 - sent order number as requested by Shein. Let’s see what happens!!

Certainly won’t be ordering swimwear again. I ordered 8 bikinis and returned 6. They are not refunding me for 4 of them due to not passing the inspection. What a load of nonsense. I only tried the tops on so what can possibly be wrong? Going round in circles on the chat thing with the same repeated answer but no evidence as to why my items did not pass the inspection and I’ve resent the photos from my end. Have to say this has never happened before in the years I have been using shein but it this highly annoying and I’m now almost £30 down on my refund with no idea as to how to get it back. I shall keep trying though. Fuming 😤

Rubbish

Had to return several items and one of them was a bikini. It was returned with the sanitary protection however, they are saying it wasn’t attached and won’t refund in full. They have asked for proof, who takes before and after pictures. What a complete joke. There stuff isn’t that great anyway

I have never had a problem with Shein…

I have never had a problem with Shein until I started buying garden features twice I have had to have a refund in my wallet for garden lights, it happened again with another garden feature which happened to be lights again, I hadn't got the packaging so they wanted me to send them back another way I really couldn't be bothered with it, I think due to having faults with 2 other light features they thought I was telling lies when I even sent a video of the damaged goods, I had put an alternative in my basket hoping they would of gave me a refund into my wallet to put towards these more expensive lights I have since taken them out of my basket now I will try elsewhere instead, yes I have had a problem with 2 other garden lights they made me feel like I was telling lies, I was still polite to the customer service but I'm still not happy it's not my fault I have had 3 faulty items in fact 4 a windchime arrived all in knots I didn't even bother Shein with it I just ordered another one, order number GS017V21S00NAEK, there is nothing in the service records on this issue not even an open case I have been waiting since early hours Saturday morning for it to be resolved I have sent the video evidence in 3 times now customer service are still saying it's not enough evidence, I have been shopping with Shein for a very long time now always give good reviews if any item of clothing has been sent back it's due to the size where I then ordered a bigger size once it hit my wallet I have always had it transferred to my wallet whether it be clothing to small, out of stock item or recently 3 garden light features wasn't working, a couple more garden features I just put into the bin has I didn't want to go through all this I have already lost near enough 10 pounds with the 2 items I had to bin I really don't want to make it 3 then lose out on another 5 pounds. Shocking customer service, I received a broken item, Shein are messing me about, they sent me a broken link, no email to reset my password, this is not good enough, all I want to do is send the floating water lights back with the water inside the battery compartment this is why they don't work, the batteries in all 4 lights are all soaking wet in brown water, 3 days this has been going on for, to say I'm angry is an understatement this needs to go to someone higher up, I want to send them back normally and get my refund, there is nothing in the service records at all, nothing to do with this garden feature is even an open case customer service are just going round in circles with me, still no replay yet again waiting a full day pretty for reply is not good enough, I need to speak to a manager now, I managed to sort the return out now thanks to Google has customer service at Shein just left me hanging with no help what so ever I usually have any refund sent straight to my wallet so I can purchase something similar I haven't this time I am having it sent straight back into my bank

Swimsuit received with no hygiene tag

I returned a swimsuit, which didn’t have the hygiene tag in when I received it.
They are now refusing a refund because I returned without a hygiene tag.
They have offered me 0.84p for an item that cost £10.
They have asked for photos. Obviously they have the item so how can I send a picture!

Would not issue a refund

I ordered a Jumpsuit. When it arrived I tried it on, whilst it was nice, it was see through, so I carefully popped it back in the original packaging, sent it back and ordered another one in a darker colour. Shein refused to give me a refund as they claim there was a stain on it. I did not make this stain, but they kept my money and would not send the item back. Make sure you take photos of the full item (inside & out) prior to sending it back. Very sneaky!

Items were missing from package tryed…

Items were missing from package tryed to find out how I could report this . Turns out you can’t . Item was replaced by completely random item I ordered highland cow ice cube mould and got stupid sugar cube tongs I mean how random is that . Absolutely nowhere on the site to report this . Just be careful that you get what you payed for

If there was a way to give 0 stars, I would! They are such rip offs, I never received my parcel from them and their customer service isn't doing anything about it! They send links for filling out forms which never work and no attempt on helping the customer!

If I could give Shein zero stars I would!

UPDATED 3/7/26 - FURTHER BOT RESPONSE NOTED BELOW DONT BE FOOLED THEY HAVE NO INTENTION IF DEALING WITH ANYONES COMPLAINTS THE RESPONSES ARE ALL FOR SHOW!! ILL SAVE MYSELF THE MENTAL PAIN OF SENDING THEM DETAILS OF MY COMPLAINT AGAIN ITS TOO STRESSFUL!! If I could give Shein zero stars I would. Awful company I put a review on here a while back about my terrible experience and they wrote a totally fake response saying please let us know your details and we want to hlo you resolve. Well I did this and I just kept getting the same bot response over and over in the end for my own self peace and mental health I had to just stop responding as they had no intention of resolving my issue and obviously just bots responding. I recommend going to a good company as you really do get what you pay for!!! AVOID IS MY ADVICE
