Tat jewellery

Ordered a load of jewellery which was mostly unbearably cheap and the angles were off for the bangles. Some of the rings couldn’t be loosened and some were unbelievably so flimsy. One of the bracelets looked like it was fading. Thoroughly disappointed. Order GSO1YV4740000MS. I tried to get in touch with customer service who told me to fil in the form with the 50 million questions of what was wrong and then adding a photo. I sent that and my agent told me she’d make a report and then came back to say I’d have to do a return and refund with having my filll out more forms add more photos of the issue. How can I take a photo of bad quality and flimsiness? You’re making everything throughly difficult Shein.

Don’t waste your money…

I would strongly warn people against ordering swimwear or costumes from SHEIN if there is any chance you may need to return them. I returned multiple swimwear items with the hygiene labels attached exactly as required by their policy, yet my refund was refused because they claimed the labels had been removed. I was then asked to provide photographs proving the labels were intact before return, something most customers would not normally think to do.
What has made this even worse is that SHEIN have also refused to return the items back to me despite keeping my money and refusing the refund. I paid for these items and now have neither the products nor my money back. As a regular customer who has spent a lot with this company, I feel completely let down and honestly feel scammed by the way this has been handled.
The customer service throughout has been extremely poor and unhelpful, and after this experience I will not be ordering from SHEIN again or recommending them to friends or family.

Another victim of the Swimwear scam

Another victim of the Swimwear scam. Do not buy from this site, I returned 2 orders with multiple swimwear items in and 2 items were not refunded from each order due to them not meeting the returns policy which is hygiene labels in tact. I received an email from 1 order to say 2 items did not meet this, no proof and from the other order i did not receive an email but when I went on live chat they showed pictures of the labels but folded on a corner. With the less than sticky labels and the small bags the items come crumpled up in this is near on impossible for them to remain perfect. I have requested help from PayPal and will report to trading standards as this seems to be an obvious con many people are falling victim to. Live chat customer service are less than helpful and I have received multiple automatic replies. I am left without my refund or without the items and would warn anyone I know against buying from this site, I definitely will not be again! Before Shein reply with the same generic email they replying to all bad reviews I am only looking for a refund not another bot message

I gave them the requested info 5 days ago as requested in their automated message and still not heard a thing back

Another swimwear returns issue!

EDITED TO ADD: SHEIN DID NOTHING TO REFUND OF THEIR OWN ACCORD BUT PAYPAL QUICKLY DECIDED THE CLAIM IN MY FAVOUR AND REFUNDED IN FULL.

As per many of the other negative reviews on here, I returned 2 bikinis with the hygiene strips intact in the correct place.

Return confirmed as received and then radio silence. I contacted shein to ask where my refund was to be told it had been refused as the hygiene strips were ‘missing or damaged’. The evidence photos provided by them were of only half the garment but both hygiene strips clearly there and not damaged!

They then tried to tell me they were misplaced. I replied and stated not only are these hygiene strips the least sticky thing I have ever come across so them moving during returns bagging and unbagging is very likely, but that their photos only show half the garment so it’s impossible to evidence they aren’t in the correct place. They still refused to refund.

A clever scam - they must be making a mint from this!

I’ve escalated a claim via PayPal for my refund.

Won’t be ordering again and would advise anyone to avoid ordering swimwear from there.

Bikini returns, take a photo!!!!!!!!!!

I recently purchase several items. I kept some but had to return 9 items for various reasons. I’ve only received a refund for 7. Two bikinis were returned, with the protective strips intact. All 9 were returned in one parcel. The bikinis were taken out and sent to a different department to process refund. They sent a picture showing the protective strips in a different place. They refuse to refund my money. If you ever buy bikinis make sure you take a picture when you return them. Not just the overall parcel, which they suggest. I’m upset and disgusted as I would NEVER return items that way. Talking with robots is the only communication you get as they don’t answer the telephone. I WILL NEVER USE THSI WEBSITE AGAIN. Their warehouse handlers must be doing something to avoid money being returned. It’s like a SCAM.

I’ve just read several other bad reviews who had a similar experience to me. I’ve noticed all the responses from Shein say exactly the same thing. Even though you provide order number details they refuse to refund or RETURN ITEMS. Absolutely shocking, they take your money and keep your goods, they must be raking in a fortune!!!!!!!!

After several emails back and too with Shein they have now refunded the full cost of the two bikinis. It’s been a very difficult and distressing time, which I feel could have been avoided. There were several items in my order that I kept and I am pleased with. Whilst I will never buy swimwear from them ever again I might at some point in the future consider looking for other items.

Piece of shit website that always fails…

Piece of shit website that always fails the human verification checks when done correctly, cant accept mine or my mothers phone numbers for account creation.
My mother really wanted to buy some items from this store but the website being so broken up and stopping me at every turn disappointed her and frustrated the hell out of me.

Delivery is terrible

Delivery is terrible, (yodel) they dont even attempt Delivery and then tell you its failed Delivery, contact shien and they dont help either, they offer in-post delivery which also fails delivery, not worth the hassle, dont recommend and wont use again

Returned an unworn bikini to SHEIN and…

Returned an unworn bikini to SHEIN and had my refund refused over an allegedly “missing/damaged” hygiene sticker.

The frustrating part is that SHEIN’s own inspection photo clearly showed the hygiene sticker still attached to the item. During the complaint process, I received several different explanations including:

* missing sticker
* improperly attached sticker
* damaged sticker
* needing arrival photos as proof

SHEIN also acknowledged in writing that I did not open, wear, or try on the item before returning it.

Despite this, they refused both the refund and to return the item to me.

I understand companies need hygiene policies, but the handling of this felt inconsistent and unfair, especially over a very low-value item where most customers would never think to photograph the inside of swimwear immediately upon delivery.

I am extremely disappointed with SHEIN…

I am extremely disappointed with SHEIN and their delivery service.
The first time I placed an order, my parcel was delivered to the wrong location. I specifically selected delivery to ASDA, but the parcel never arrived there or anywhere else. Although I received a refund, that does not change the fact that I wanted my order, not just my money back.
Despite this, I decided to give SHEIN another chance and placed another order. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again. Out of the entire parcel, only two dresses arrived, while the rest of the order was missing and never delivered.
The worst part is that there always seem to be problems with SHEIN deliveries through Evri. They cannot properly deliver parcels to home addresses, ASDA pickup points, or even parcel lockers. There is always some issue, missing items, or parcels ending up who knows where.
I specifically ordered everything in advance for my holiday because I needed certain items for the trip. Now, just a few days before my holiday, I have to run around shops trying to find all the things I had already carefully chosen and ordered online. This is honestly ridiculous and extremely stressful.
Losing parcels twice is completely unacceptable. This level of service is unreliable, frustrating, and very disappointing. After this experience, I honestly do not want to use SHEIN again.

Would put 0 starts if I could,

Would put 0 starts if I could,
I return aload of swimwear over £100 worth and they said I didn't meet the hygiene because the stick was slightly peeled off. The stickers are flimsy and come off easily. I didn't even open 5 of the items and these was also not refunded. So I have asked for my items to be returned but they haven't returned them so they have technically stolen my money. I've seen this has happened to loads or people. It's a SCAM please don't be fooled, save your money and go somewhere else.
I will be contacting trading standards.

My first and only experience of trying…

My first and only experience of trying to shop at shein was terrible!
I placed an order for almost £700 and paid via paypal. After the tranasction was completed, I received an email asking for proof of payment before the order would be sent out. I provided screenshots from both my paypal and my bank account and was told the next day that those were insufficient!
After re-sending these 3 times over the next week and being repeatedly told they were not enough, I had had it with them.
During my final online chat, which lasted approx 20 mins, I had to demand a refund 3 times before they complied!
Whilst I'm sure many people have no problems, I will never shop with them again.

Untrue claims around swimsuits without…

Untrue claims around swimsuits without issuing refunds, so despite all of the swimsuits I ordered to try on many of which the sanitary stickers were not sticky or folded over or not present, they have claimed they have been damaged/ used, their pictures show the sanitary sticker in place but with small folds, this is how I received them, I did not even try on the particular garments they have pictured, have lost trust in them and have still not had my refund so now paid a lot of money for one very cheap swimsuit, not impressed and taking this further, very poor customer service. Warning take videos of everything u receive, just in case. Edit , whilst they replied below , they did not send an email to help with this , so still no further forward

False Claims to Avoid Issuing Refunds

Very disappointed with SHEIN. They are claiming that the stickers were not attached to the swimming costumes I returned, which is completely untrue. I made a video while packing the return, and it clearly shows that all stickers were attached before sending the items back.
I paid for the order and returned the items correctly, yet I still haven’t received the proper refund. This is a terrible way to treat customers and creates a very poor reputation for the company. Despite selling cheap products, customer service and honesty should still matter.
I will continue fighting for my money back, even if I have to escalate this matter further and take it to the Ombudsman. After this experience, I will never shop with them again.
