I have just spent most of today on…

I have just spent most of today on Shein customer service,I'm 79yrs old and was told that my parcel is being delivered 50 miles from my home,and solution was for me to go and pick it up.really a round-trip on bus and train would be nearly 5hrs and I'm infirm,also as I'm older it takes me longer trying to write answers with one finger,and before I get 2nd line they have sent me the same reply about 6 times,I have in last six months had numerous parcels all delivered safely,last one yesterday 23rd may checked my address was correct as they told me too.and they said on their system it was 50 miles away in a store that I used when I lived that direction.so when I asked why have I had at least 50 packages delivered toy door,I was practically called a liar so that's me finished with shein they can keep the money when package goes back to them they must be in dire need

Very disappointing customer service experience

Very disappointing customer service experience with SHEIN regarding a promotional points event.
I received 2300 promotional points from an event which were worth around £17 in discount value. Later, I received a refund of only £2.79 for damaged items that SHEIN acknowledged as faulty and did not require to be returned. Following this, approximately 1500 points were removed from my account, equal to around £11 in value, and my account was pushed into a negative points balance so future earned points are now being deducted.
What I found most frustrating was not just the points removal itself, but the way customer service handled it. They repeatedly sent copy-paste responses, ignored most of my actual questions, would not properly explain where certain things were authorised within their own rules, and refused to engage with the gaps and ambiguities I pointed out after reviewing the terms myself.
I understand promotions may have conditions, but penalising a customer so heavily over a £2.79 refund for faulty goods feels very disproportionate and unfair.

Should have known better, very disappointed

I took a gamble and ordered from Shein and what a mistake. I bought a bikini which didn’t fit so returned it. I hadn’t even tried the bottom part on as the top didn’t fit and I have now been told I won’t get a refund because the bottoms are defective and missing the sanitary packaging, despite me not even taking them out of the packaging. Absolute joke and the customer service team are infuriating. Just don’t waste your money

Shein is stealing from me

Shein is stealing from me left, right and centre
from Order NO. GSO1YX13S005F0T
I bought some swimming suits from Shein. They came with crampled security seals but because they were whole and in place I did not think much about it. However, when I returned the unsuitable 6 items Shein refused to give me my refund for 3 of them insisting that the seals were 'missing or damaged', while their own pictures show it was not true at all. For a long time I could not find out how to contact Shein customer service as both the chat and phone number from Shein site are not working just go round in circles. When eventually I found the way to complain and requested the full refund or my items back, pointing out that keeping both my money and my items is a theft, Shein has been simply ignoring me. What's more on Shein website there is no way to report that the seal is missing or damaged on delivery so Shein can do whatever they want and it seems the customer can do nothing about it. I have written to Trading Standards for an advice. I will post the answer when I get it so everyone will know if there is anything that can be done about it, or the only choice is to avoid Shein and stick to Amazon and Temu who have excellent return and customer service record.

Shocking Customer Service

I have previously bought swimwear from shein and found the quality to be good for the price paid. I bought 2 in my latest shop and one was perfect, however the other looked small so I didn’t try it on, just put it back in the bag and returned. I have been declined my refund due to hygiene sticker being folded at one end. After not even being informed of this I had to contact them to be told this. The customer service representative was appalling and kept asking me for photo evidence, I told her I didn’t try on so didn’t notice it was folded - that didn’t matter and no refund issued.

I will not be buying from them again due to this and it’s a shame as I bought a lot from them previously. Lost a customer for the sake of a £9.34 refund. Which I still feel I am entitled to.

I would have understood if I had removed the hygiene sticker or damaged the item. But it must of arrived to me in that condition or folded over in transit and very unreasonable response from Shein to a good customer.

Feels like there is a theme though with all the latest reviews. Seems like a scam and they will lose loyal customers this way.

This has been a nightmare

This has been a nightmare. Ordered 4dresses paid for them. Order didn’t arrive. Was given a refund on 2/5/2026. Order arrived on 9/5/26. Contacted Shen as I am an honest person. Paid for the dresses again. Only wanted 1 dress. Give new order number to send them back. Which I did on 10/5/2026. Now they have 3 of the 4 dresses back and say they didn’t owe me a refund. I have spent 3 hours on the chat sent e mails. And still can’t make them understand. Have sent information customer service number I was given all order numbers are on this.

I ordered some swimsuits and when…

I ordered some swimsuits and when received them saw the quality and didn’t like it, never even tried them and returned same day. After some time when i didn’t receive refund back contacted customer service and they told me i returned without hygienic stickers and that’s why i won’t get refund. I asked to have items back or partial refund and they refused all. This is absolutely ridiculous. They are scam company.

Awful customer service

I have shopped with shein hundreds of times but never had an issue until now. I ordered 4 bikinis to try the tops on. I tried them on and they did not fit so I returned them. I then received notice that my return minus all of the bikinis had been processed. When I queried this apparently all of the hygiene stickers were missing or moved. I did not even try the bottoms on or take them out of the packaging. I raised this with customer service and they declined to assist me as I had no photos to prove anything, but as I said I did not take the bottoms out of the packaging so they were shipped to me with the hygiene stickers like that. I am now out £50 for products I didn’t even touch.

Update: I created 3 separate chats with the customer service team and sent screenshots of my trust pilot reviews and some of the others on here who are experiencing the issue. The 3rd person said they would escalate my issue and I have now received an email saying I am going to receive a refund.

Refunding £5.00 back when dress was £60.00

Most of my clothes are from shein (mobility issue) and I’ve never had a problem till now,I recently ordered a prom style dress for a cruise,when it came it was very small sized despite being my normal size with them I didn’t even try it on I put it sraight back in its bag and returned via InPost the same day , this morning I got a message saying my refund was delayed as I had returned it in the wrong bag even thought it was only one item.. the dress was £60 and tonight they have given me a refund of £5.00 have spent all evening online asking why apparently it looks like it’s been worn and has some hairs on it .. I had the item for approx 1 hour before I returned it and have no pets they sent me a blurred/blacked out photo as proof and when I asked for other clear images was told it’s the end of the matter and only one photo was taken and the case is closed.. have started a claim on resolver and will be ringing my bank in the morning.. absolutes disgrace

Bikini issue returns

Having been quite a regular customer at Shein UK. I recently ordered 2 bikinis which didn’t fit and were returned in the exact condition received. 1 was tried on but was too big, the other only top was tried but too small. It’s hard to find correct sizing as the sizing given seems inaccurate so you need to try them. They were both returned with hygiene sticker attached. Returns photographed at return centre. One photo clearly shows hygiene sticker attached and the second the sticker has clearly stuck to itself presumably whilst folded in packet, it was the one that wasn’t tried on! So refund refused due to “abnormalities with hygeine sticker”.
I contacted customer service to point out one was totally in place and the other looked like it had stuck to itself and that returns were sent on the day I received…. But no. No refund. Lost money and item. Despite saying item is returnable. I come on here and see the last 5 reviews all saying the same thing and several others if you scroll down all posted in recent days. I think Shein have decided not to refund any swimwear and are just pocketing your payments. I tried to contact CS again sending the photos from factory pointing out in tact, in place sticker, but again same reply.
I will stop purchasing from Shein this is not the way to treat a regular customer!
Be honest Shein - say no return on swimwear or make sure the sizing is accurate.
I will NOT be contacting customer service again despite the presumed “caring” reply as for other complainants with this issue, as clearly no one intends to refund!

Refusal to refund

I returned a two piece swimming costume having only tried on the top which didnt fit. I didnt try on the bottoms and left them in the bag as there was no point seeing as the top didnt fit.
They refused to refund stating the hygiene sticker was not satisfactory. Not exactly sure why not, but it was there and in the same place as how they sent it to me (as I never put them on). I think this is a ploy to make money. I advise you take pics of things like this when you open the bag in case you need to evidence it

Shocking after sales service regarding…

Shocking after sales service regarding returning swim wear . Items arrived without hygiene stickers so I returned without trying on for obvious reasons!
They’ve refused to accept responsibility and refused refund of over £40 .
Couldn’t have cared less !
Be warned about their hygiene policy - or lack of ! Disgusting 🤢 never buying anything again from this company

I am extremely disapointed with Shein's…

I am extremely disapointed with Shein's customwr service. I have ordered a steam cleaner from there a while ago. I have used it no more than 5 times and all of a sudden it stopped working. I have contacted shein's cuatomwr service, but all i got was a copy paste answer and not really a voncern or an actual conversation. Extremely rude and unprofesional. I just experience the unfairness from shein,all is well if you don't send back for refund as soon you do you are doomed.i received product (swim wear) and didn't even open as I could see is not what I wanted so I sent back. Ordered clothing

Ordered clothing, much of it holiday wear. On every single swimsuit I ordered, I made sure the hygiene stickers were still in place as I folded them neatly into the bags. They refused to refund me and had pictures of every single swimsuit without the hygiene stickers. They had been deliberately removed as these were the only things that were not refunded. Absolutely diabolical, deliberately sabotaging the refund to make more money. Never order from here.

Bunch of con merchants

Ordered a dog sofa bed which they stated would fit a very large dog. I measured the size I needed so thought great. It arrived vacuum packed, I left it as suggested but it was far too small.

So I did a return, I could not send it back in the same packaging because of it being vacuum packed. So packed it securely. They received it back but would only refund half the amount as I had not returned it in the original packaging.

I argued but they still refused so I have deleted my account and will never buy from them again.

Edited 26 May- I provided all information request a few days ago. Nothing from them except to confirm my account has now been deleted. So why the info when they had no intention of doing anything no idea.

Scammers

Absolute shit reply below. No sevice records in the app. Still git my money and the bikini. DO NOT BUY SWIMWEAR FROM HERE THEY WILL NOT REFUND ABSOLUTE SCUM. Ordered a bikini didn't even try it on decided to return it. They not refunding as apparently its been tapered with not by me but as I didn't try it on. They got the bikini and £10 absolutely shameful customer service i spend loads on this site but not anymore scammers
