Excellent..the delivery guys were on time, extremely polite and efficient. They phoned 20 minutes in advance, listened to directions (our house is not easy to find) and the tracking was kept up to date so I could see exactly where they were. Why can’t all delivery companies be like this?!!

I was pleased to discover last week that Carpet Warehouse are still using SGK Distribution for their deliveries as when they delivered my carpet last year I thought they were excellent. They seem to be a cut above the other delivery firms I've had to experience: their communication is excellent, tracking on the day of delivery is available and the two-man team were able to place the carpet for storage where I wanted. Last week was no different when I ordered more carpet. Even though the delivery coincided with the arrival of Storm Austen, the carpet was still delivered within their 3-hour time slot. Excellent again! Thanks very much.

Disgraceful lying from delivery men
Disgraceful lying from delivery men! The washing machine packaging was wacked on one side and they assured me that the signature I gave was just to acknowledge delivery and not the condition. Reading up after delivery the signature was to accept the delivery in good condition and thus absolve the company of all liability for any delivery damage.

Not good service
Unfortunately, I’ve not had good service. Ordered 2 wardrobes (which came as 4 boxes) from Roseland which were delivered an hour later than the confirmed time. I got 3 wardrobe bases and only top. Over a week later I finally got notification that the missing piece and collection of the incorrect piece would happen between 2pm and 7pm. Due to a breakdown they arrived at 9:15pm which meant we had to miss the theatre production we were supposed to be going to (out of pocket to the sum of £30 now). Then, to add insult to injury the only collected the spare base and didnt have a top to deliver. Another week later and we are expecting our top part to be delivered, but guess what? We are getting another base as well! It beggars belief. Can’t fault the lads delivering though they were polite and helpful but wouldnt take any of the packaging away which meant we had to take a trip to the recycling centre to get rid of it all.

Got offered a date to take delivery of…
Got offered a date to take delivery of my new divan bed. It wasn't possible for us to get time off work to take delivery. Upon declining the date offered i sent notification of when it was possible for someone to be at my house to take delivery. I didn't hear anything back and had to phone the company to ask if the dates i had were possibile.
Managed to get the 2nd date that i arranged for delivery and explained that i work in a hospital so could not always answer my phone but there would definitely be someone at home to take this delivery.
Fast forward to delivery day i got a call saying they were half an hour away. Followed by 4 missed calls that i couldn't answer because i was with a patient which i rang back to have a rude delivery man tell me hes been at the back of my house knocking on the back gate for 10 minutes...doesn't it make sense for someone to go to a front door that is actually connected to a property rather than a back gate which is across a yard through a conservatory and kitchen away from the person waiting at the front door for its arrival??
