Charges incurred

Due to unforeseen financial circumstances I am unable to attend the michael Buble concert in July. I advertised my tickets on Seatwave as I was desperate to sell them. I waited a while but had no joy in selling them. By this point I was worried as the concert was creeping round. Fortunately late last night a friend of mine stepped in and purchased them. It was late so I made a note to myself to cancel all listings in the morning so I would not incur any costs. Cue this morning....I wake up to an email saying my tickets had sold on Seatwave! What are the odds? In the space of a few hours, before id had chance to cancel my listing they had sold! At 7am they had been bought! My problem is now this.....I no longer have the tickets and I was unable to cancel the listing so I will now incur huge charges! I appreciate Seatwave have a terms and conditions detailing charges, should a ticket sell and not be available but I wasnt given the time to cancel the listing! I currently do not have good internet at home so any cancellation would have been arranged when I arrived at work. The ticket had clearly sold before this so im now stressed to the hilt. I have contacted Seatwave but have yet to receive a response. This is not a fault on my part so I truly believe I should not incur costs. I would understand if id left the listing on for weeks after id sold the tickets but the time difference between selling to a friend and selling on Seatwave was a matter of hours! I warn everyone to not sell on Seatwave as these costs are crippling even if there has been a mix up that is out of your hands. Not Happy!!!

I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t able to provide the tickets as listed. Once a sale is made against a listing you have entered into a contract to supply those tickets. Just as we protect you by not allowing the buyer to cancel, in turn we have to protect the buyer by making sure they get what they pay for.

Where the tickets can’t be supplied and a refund is offered, the refund amount is applied to the total buyers price which is inclusive of processing fees, delivery and VAT, and these costs are passed on to you in line with the terms of your User Agreement as shown when registering with us.

I’m sorry for any confusion and hope this explains the costs that have been deducted from your payment.

Brilliant service!

Tickets were reasonably priced, delivered in great time and because it was a Ticketmaster site I had no worries of tickets being fake. Site is easy to navigate and contact through website ensured a positive experience.

HOW MUCH...???!!!!!!!!! Woah!

My rating is not based on consumer satisfaction but value. Ticket pricing is outrageous on Seatwave. Purchase was simple for sure and yeah I’m the sucker but I’d messed up trying to get first round of tix. And I would expect purchase to be simple when I’m shelling out nearly 400 bucks!!!! Anyhoo... stick me in the draw, thanks

Fees are too high

Fees are too high, especially as they are collected from both parties. The "guarantee" of authentic tickets is not worth the fees being charged. Also, the site is very persnickety about where you created your account and won't let you switch if you accidentally created an account in the UK domain instead of the Irish domain.

Great Service

Everything worked out fine.Ordered tickets.They got delivered promptly.Went to gig and enjoyed it.The only downside is I paid too much for the tickets.However I really wanted to go and I was prepared to pay the price.So,no complaints.

I paid €180 for a ticket for my sons…

I paid €180 for a ticket for my sons birthday to go and see The Rolling Stones in Dublin .When the ticket arrived the face value was €71 absolute robbery and never again . Governments and artists should take control of this outright robbery it is worse than pay day loans .
Shame on Seatwave and the artists who allow this to happen.

Got the tickets

Traveling from California to Dublin for Sam Smith....

Traveling from California to Dublin and sold-out Sam Smith concert - really was not convinced that it would all work out - BUT IT DID! The tickets were uploaded, I printed them out from the site, we breezed through the entry at the concert and had the time of our lives! The seats were amazing.Thank you for making our dream come true.
