Upon reaching the check-in counter, I experienced a considerable delay in obtaining my boarding pass due to customers taking an extended amount of time to address baggage weight and contents. The ground staff, during this time, engaged in unprofessional behaviour by laughing and joking amongst themselves, disregarding the inconvenience faced by the waiting customers.
Accompanying me was my friend, who required wheelchair assistance due to a fractured ankle. Contrary to usual procedures at other airports, Saudi Airlines required us to proceed to gate 1 to request a wheelchair from customer service. This unexpected deviation from standard protocol contributed to further delays. Despite the challenges posed by the fractured ankle, we rushed to reach the boarding gate (13A) which was the last call for boarding, only to be met with a supervisor displaying extreme rudeness, arrogance, and disrespect towards us.
Moreover, at the baggage claim area, we were made to wait for an extended period of 50 minutes before being informed that our baggage had not been offloaded and was still on the flight. To exacerbate the situation, the assistance provided by various customer service agents yielded inconsistent and conflicting information, leaving us without proper guidance or assistance throughout the process.
I am profoundly disappointed with the overall service provided by Saudi Airlines during this flight. The lack of professionalism, disregard for passengers' needs, and inadequate communication are unacceptable and reflect poorly on the airline's reputation. This was my first and last flight with Saudi Airlines.

The flight itself was ok but the customer service is horrific. We tried to upgrade before our first flight but apparently my card didn’t work. My bank said it was a problem on air Saudias side. I tried to contact them to change the card details for the flight back but it wasn’t possible. Technical team referred me to upgrade team. Upgrade team wasn’t helpful. Very rude answer. My second email was ignored. The complaint form on the website doesn’t work, well it doesn’t exist when you click on the link. No email address to write to. If seems like no one cares that they are doing a bad job. Can’t imagine what it’s like if you have s serious problem with them..,

Worst even service received paying a comparatively high price than other airlines on the same destination. Booked for 3 passengers with 6 luggage. Received only one on 14 September 2023. Complained at Gatwick Airport regarding the missing luggage. Received 3 luggage on 18 September 2023, and still 2 missing. No phone or email from the airlines for the missing luggage and no apology or compensation for the service! Forget about the onboard food or customer service. Memorable worst experience from Saudia!
Flight disrupted and no care
Flight disrupted and no care. I bought 2 tickets for December 15 2023 and return on Jan 3 2024, from heathrow to kochi via riyadh (including return) by using credit card. They cancelled the flight day before yesterday and when i ask them they don't have any reason. When i request them for changing flight instead of cancelling and they said They cant. Ok then i asked about refund so i can pay back credit card and book another flight for the same date, they said it will take minimum 12 weeks. Here is the problem. I have to pay the current cancelled ticket and also i need to pay again for the new tickets. What the hell is that. Why dont they do refund faster.
2 days before the flight scheduled from kochi to heathrow via riyadh has not taken only 120 london passengers and rest of saudi passengers has been gone. When people asked about the reason they never replies and the have not provide any food or accommodation anything.
Lots of people having the same issue. Try no to buy saudi airlines. Go for etihad, gulf air, qatar, emirates
Terrible customer service
They have a “flight disruption” notification without any clear explanation on their website. When asked, they just told me to ask the booking agency. They seriously did not even bother answering a question ABOUT THEIR OWN FLIGHT SCHEDULE. Don’t give your money to businesses that treat their customers like this.
Very efficient
I had a very wonderful experience together with my family when we were assisted by the ground steward staff Roxas at the ticketing services. Though it was very stressful incident but he made it very clear and easy to get the situation resolved in a timely manner. I would never have this in my life to be settled because of the misunderstanding regarding the flight details. I truly appreciate it with Roxas efficient way of handling the situation professionally. Thank you so much Saudia Airlines.

Saudi Airlines has received negative reviews regarding their lack of knowledge about the Saudi visa system. Despite having an e-visa issued by the Saudi embassy for Umrah, the airline refused to allow passengers to board, claiming that a stamped visa was required. In contrast, Emirates Airlines handled the situation smoothly and transported the passengers to Saudi Arabia without any issues. Based on this experience, it is recommended to avoid Saudi Airlines and choose alternative airlines instead

Very poor customer service it felt like I'm talking to a low cost airline even the low cost airlines will serve you better. I will never use saudi anymore after my experience with their customer service if I can give them 0 I would have did. I will stick to emariets airlines.

This airline is not bad when it comes to the plane and entertainment on board. But customer service is incredibly bed. They did everything so their customers will never reach them on the phone nor email- nothing. Mission impossible to be connected to CS representative. The moment you put your booking number the call is finished. If you want to fail a complaint online the form is not working. The email which I found online is not valid. If the flight went fine and you don't have any issues-great. If they should refund you for something- it's a quest which can't be completed. Very disappointed

if travelling form England and you have two stops. JED and RUH. The immigration and the Saudi Airlines will force you to get a visa. There is no option for a transit visa. Also for 12 hours or less there is no transit visa. Yet the officials at the airport will not let you travel and will be the most helpless useless people ever.
Avoid at all cost as this adds more to you ticket price. Visa is approximately £100 (uk £ sterling)
Corruption and inhumane behaviour of saudi airline.
I booked return flight from Birmingham to Islamabad costing £2440 for 2 economy class tickets, flight from Birmingham was an hour delayed, me & my wife landed at jeddah intl airport at midnight 7th August 2023. We had to take next flight to Islamabad, when we reached at the gate we were still on time around 20 mins before flight departure, ground staff was continuously on his phone in arabic that we couldn’t understand and then after my repeated attempts he finally responded me and said we can board the plane as gates are closed and told us to go to saudi airline counter and they’ll give us next available flight free of charge, i went to look for counter, staff at jeddah airport was so rude and arrogant and no one helped us, somehow I managed to get to the saudi airline counter with help of a security personnel, when i reached there, i spoke with their supervisor Mr. Khan who refused to give us any replacement flight and forced me to buy a new ticket £200 that i did and paid £120 extra for hotel stay just for 6 hours as my flight was next day that didn’t include any meals.
My wife who has severe medical conditions slipped in the toilet and her foot heavily bleed, i rushed to hotel counter to get first aid but they said there’s no first aid available at hotel. It’s worth mentioning that this hotel is located inside jeddah transit terminal. Somehow I managed to stop the bleeding by wrapping solution tape on her foot. Then we boarded the plane next evening and then i asked the crew to provide me some bandages and then i did my wife’s dressing for her injury.
We landed at Islamabad airport, our luggage went miss and then I discovered after 2 hrs of searching that it came on previous flight.
After few days I discovered that our return flights have been cancelled. I went to saudi airline office in Islamabad Pakistan. staff there was so rude, didn’t show any sympathy and put all blame on me and said that flights were cancelled as we were at no show despite the fact that we were right outside the gate to board the plane.
I called helpline of SA and they forced me to buy another flight and as it’s peak time, after lots of requests and arguments, finally I managed to get the same return flight reservation with different date by paying extra £1222.
Because of this whole situation we didn’t only suffer from financial losses but also my wife had panic attacks, breathing issues as she is asthmatic and she’s still suffering from mental stress.
I paid around £4000 for economy class flight to be treated inhumane, unfairly and unprofessionally.

Tried to book a flight through Saudi airlines websites and I can tell you the designers of the website is from the 80s.
The whole process is just a waste of time that's after u trying to be very patient. They are planning to make 1 of the biggest airlines in the world is what I heard hence why I thought I'd try them. Never going back
Saudia worst airline
This is the worst airlines experience I ever had. The stewardesses were absolutely rude. When I asked for the cabin manager to lodge my complaint, they became furious to me. Never received a blanket nor any headphones. A glass of water took ages for them to bring. This only happened after asking them multiple times. The restrooms were all wet and dirty. They didn’t put any effort on keeping them tidy. Most of the passengers were Bangladeshis and the cabin crew treated them as third world citizens. This is discrimination from my point of view. During the meal service, they never provided me the options between the different choices. Just served the meal whatever they felt like to. Long story short, never again!

AVOID at all cost, We were not allowed to board the flight because of their technical error even though we had all our boarding tickets in hand confirmed but due to a mix-up in their system due to reference No they did not allow us to board with children. The check-in staff are appalling and are just there to look pretty no help at all. We were turned away at the Airport even though they and plenty of seat they could have got us on. I would rather pay more and get onto Emirates instead! Avoid this Airline at all cost, if you get any issues they will never resolve it! Pay a little more and get better service elsewhere its worth it not to go through this disgusting Saudia Airline service.
Rubbish
No one replies on time. Chatbot is useless. Chat service doesnt work. I already sent an email and a regular mail and has not been resolved. My alfursan miles is the same. No one has come back to me about the resolution. All in all, if i could rate your service, it's 0. Will never recommend you to friends and family.
The flight from LGW to Jeddah, and return flight from Jeddah to LHR
The flight from LGW was 2hrs and 20 minutes delayed to Jeddah.
It had its consequences, for the taxi, hotels and food at the middle of the night in Saudi.
The food catering in the plane and so many people of one community working on the plane could not speak or understand English.
Especially for a flight from LGW to Jeddah.
The catering staff were rude kept dropping or spilling food on the floor without any apology. Pushing people out of alley ways and above all being rude to many travellers on the plane going to Saudi for a spiritual journey.
Please airline people locate an appropriate catering staff for the kind of travellers travelling on the plane. Most of the time the toilets were locked, not knowing the reason.
Although the return flight from Jeddah to LHR was 4/5* on 6th of August.
