Service was horrendous. First the gate agent gave my wife and toddler (3years old) seats that were apart. ( business class seat 2c and 3j). When we enquirer, he said just speak to the cabin crew and they will rectify the situation. When we got to the cabin, the crew manager saw our seat situation and told us “oh you know you have different seat?” To which we answered the gate agent told us to talk to you. He quickly looked around and told us to ask the people seating to either side of the assigned seats if they would change their seat for us and then rushed my wife to seat down to let other passenger pass. My wife then took my fighter on her lap and waited. Once the flight was boarded, the head crew told her that my daughter cannot sit on her lap and needed to sit in her assigned seat. How do you expect a 3 year old to sit by herself during lift off? After some complaints from my wife finally the gentleman in the next seat offered to switch seat so my daughter could sit next to her mom. Great job Saudia cabin crew….for nothing. You unprofessionalism will take your airline far.
Make sure that when flying through connect flight from Madinah to Makkah they should have sufficient time for repeated check-in, security/immigration clearance. Disables passengers transfers took long which they keep in mind
I alongwith 16 family members including kids travelled from London Gatwick to Jeddah Saudi Arabia on 4 November 2023. Booking was made through Booking.com. Travelling from London to Makkah was somehow reasonable.
However on return flights was booked from Madina to Jeddah and from Jeddah to London Gatwick. Our checked in done including immigration clearance/security checkup completed at Almadinah Airport and flight departure was at 5am which arrived Jeddah Airport around 6am. After completion of all security checkup/immigration clearance the same process was not needed to be repeated at Jeddah Airport but it was done again.
Unfortunately handling at Jeddah airport was not appropriate leading 5 persons dropped from getting the flight. Wheel chairs were booked for my daughter-in-law being pregnant, my wife and myself being disabled. Upon arrival at Jeddah Airport we (3 persons) were put in wait for lift to enable wheel chairs assistance. But this process took long as even lift operator did at his own which was not sufficient and upto requirements which further aggravated the situation due to non-availability of wheelchairs. Ultimately lift operator called the airport bus for transfer of these passengers. A lot of time was lost in this situation. More so we were put back in the check-in process.
The wheelchair handlers moved us as fast as they could or it was not at all right and caution was not taken at all. As a result, the wheelchair handlers took us to the flight, the door of which was closed immediately after our arrival. Our five family members who were waiting for us could not complete their process of check-in, security/immigration clearance. In which they have no fault. They made a lot of requests to Saudi Airlines management at Jeddah Airport but they didn’t get positive response. Alternatively they had to return to London with an Egypt Airline by buying afresh tickets. It should be ensured that the Saudi Airline not only made refunds of three return ticket but also compensates them.

Saudi airline costed me an arm and a leg and there staff was rude , and food was soo bad that I puked I asked them for rice they forcefully gave me pasta and told me rice is finished as a pregnant woman suffered eating the bad food both times even in the breakfast they gave us uncooked and smelly meal , tv channels and shows doesn’t work at all and there service is really poor

I booked a flight from Gatwick to Lahore, flght from gatwick jeddah ok. From Jeddah to Lahore number of connecting flight from europe waiting to fly to lahore. 6 hours flight delay, 3hrs sitting inside plane with no announcements, plane full off elderly passengers and kids, total disregard of EU261 regulation no hotmeals offered or updates as to what was going on people were buying their own food at terminal. As per previous reviews their is no customer services, the website complaints submission is'nt working, and theres a whats app number which is useless. Would not recommend

I got a flight from Paris to Kuala Lumpur through Jeddah. My suitcase got stuck in Jeddah when I was arriving in Kuala Lumpur (!!!!!). I had to buy new clothes and toileteries because I had nothing!!! My suitcase only arrived 3 full days after me and the company isn’t answering my emails and calls so they don’t have to pay me back, it’s been almost 2 months of trying to contact them at all cost!!! Avoid this airline!!!
Avoid at all cost
Flight delayed by more then 3 hours from Birmingham to Jeddah. No drinks offered, the ac wasn't working or the fan above the seats. Passengers were boiling due to the heat inside the airplane. Half way through the Flight, some of the food they were serving had run out. No compensation offered for delayed flight as the reply from saudia was, the delay was beyond there control. Please avoid this airline, it is so bad that some of the sub continent airlines are better.

Late flights causing us to nearly miss our connection, which was another Saudia flight. Rude staff, one drink and one meal on a flight of over six hours is appalling. No toilet paper in the toilets. While experience from a full service airline was woeful.
WORST AIRLINE EVER!!!
My first flight from London was late which I understand happens and because of that I missed my 2nd flight from Jeddah to Islamabad. The way your night customer care staff at Jeddah was dealing with customers, I couldn’t believed it. They were so rude especially bold guy (Majid) and one skinny black guy. The black skinny guy was saying to a disabled passenger on wheel chair that “take this via flight otherwise I “ll put you in a plane and kick you back to London” !!!
I had paid extra to get my flight upgraded to Business class, even though it was Saudi Airline fault I missed my flight but they refused to give me business class and gave me economy class by saying “it wasn’t booked initially as business class so we can’t give you business class.
Saudia is advertising everywhere for tourism, but that’s how they are dealing tourists at their airport, whats gonna happen inside!!!
It’s 3rd day still can’t get hold of anybody to get my refund for my upgrade payment.

THE WORST COMPANY IN THE WORLD!! we had a big problem with the outward ticket, we arrived at the baggage check-in gate at 2:50 p.m. but there was no one there, the bus that took us to the terminal had taken a while (works), once in front of the "Gates" a person from SAUDI airlines told us to get on the plane directly and that someone there took our suitcases to put them in the hold, we went through customs with our suitcases which took a little time in the end we were at 3:30 p.m. in front of the counter that I am putting in a photo for you, the lady was disrespectful then she told us to leave and that "it was more her problem" in the end in the emergency we had to take 3 one-way tickets at 1100€ so 3300€ in total... I have been with many companies and I have never had a problem, how can I find an amicable solution? In addition we had to throw away all the liquid products in the suitcase, bottle of wine, beauty products etc. worth €150 to ultimately be thrown away as trash, I am waiting for feedback from you to resolve this situation , I also made videos and photos to be able to defend myself

First our departure flight was delayed. Then when we reached our destination they lost our suitcase and pushchair. We had our medecine in this suitcase. It was delivered after 2 days. And then on the way back I was trying to check in online they said I’ve pending charge and didn’t allow me to check in online. Then they gave us food last minute when we were landing so we couldn’t accept as we were not allow to open the table due to landing.
And then when we reach Heathrow, they lost our suitcase again. When we made a complaint we were told that it was not even scan. We still waiting for it. Unfortunately we can’t trust Saudi airlines again. This was the worst experience.

Seats in this airline are appalling, worn out pvc leather and the carpets are old and tatty. Main meal food is absolutely gross and beverages are only offered once. Jeddah to Birmingham no tea was offered either? On screen entertainment had a very limited choice and had very boring titles to watch. Never go on this airline again it’s emirates all the way.

Gatwick-Jeddah-Nairobi. I thought the 80min stopover in Jeddah seemed a bit short..and it was. Practically every passenger from london had no baggage arrive at Nairobi, plus a host of others. Probably 30 names on the board to go to lost baggage help. Now sitting in a hostel waiting for my bag and listening to stories of other travellers that had the same problem!!! Weeks of it! no matter where they came from! Transferring at Jeddah is basically saying you don’t care if or when your bag turns up.
Saudi airlines sprayed pesticide before take off without consent of passengers
I was in saudi airlines from jeddah to Manchester, and before plane took off, pilot made an announcement that they are going to spray pesticide, as soon as the announcement finished, flight attendants just sprayed loads of pesticide in air and left. It did not consider safety and health of passengers. I was flying with my baby and there were many babies aboard. My husband found a cockroach running on the eating tray, he immediately killed it with a tissue paper but he didn't wanted to make a scene and just threw it in bin. Airlines charges us so much for such a poor and unhygienic flight

I have very bad experience with Saudi Airline, I travelled from Jeddae to Vienna In december 2022. My baggage was damaged and i reported to the authority at Jeddah airport and got a complain number from them. I also applied online about my complain. After 5 month i received an email stating, sorry for delay, please provide us your detail like bank account, country, flight detail and invoice of baggage. I did provide them all the detail and also filled the discharge form. But i did not receive any compensation yet. I wrote multiple emails but did not get any reply. Very disappointed with the management.
Didn't get our luggage
We waited 3 hours for our luggage at london then at my final destination we didn't get our luggage. Had to book a domestic flight back to get my luggage. Really bad customer service the worst.

You have one chance when booking to get everything right, transit visa etc. Any errors or parts not completed you will not get an opportunity to amend!
