It is awful

It is in a very bad state. My family got food poisoning from the food. And also the that we had to spend 7 hours transit as the airlines changed the flight and it was originally 3 hours with no accommodation food or water or anything with small children. They also have luggage problems. One of my family members vomited on the plane when It landed from the food poisoning and now everyone has diarrhoea including all 6 family members which includes a baby. We spoke to Saudi Airlines Staff but they ignore us and treat us like an animal in Riyadh. Saudia staff are unskilled and does not care about passenger. Dhaka to Riyadh very bad service no food or water. Also Riyadh to London very bad service. I hope everyone before buying their tickets from this airline to ignore this airlines.

Saudia Airlines Nightmare

My journey from Dubai to Guangzhou with Saudia Airlines took a nightmarish turn when I was denied boarding at Jeddah Airport, claiming I lacked the necessary Chinese visa. This, despite having a confirmed booking and transit through Jeddah. The check-in agent and guest relations, simply stated they couldn't help, leaving me stranded. Even though I explained to them that their information was incorrect, and I can travel/transit through China, I was left alone in a foreign airport with no guidance or support from the airline. To further prove my point, I booked another ticket then and there from Emirates airline and flew to China with no problems.
Eventually I got this dismissive reply to my complaint email failing to even acknowledge the distressing experience or caring how another airlines let me fly. “...we would like to inform you that your non-acceptance on the “Saudi Arabia” flight was due to the incompleteness of the travel requirements required for entering the country you wish to travel to...”

AWFUL

AWFUL! Avoid at all costs!
I paid for an extra seat that wasn't given to me. Front desk was useless. Staff on board even less. Helpline just a waste of time. I'm still fighting to get my money back. These types of companies should fail and disappear from this world. They are a disgrace and a borderline scam! Shame on who's managing this place. AVOID!

Never use this airline

We have booked our flight with saudia airlines. We have all the requited documents But they didn't allowed us on board with lame excuses. The reason was they had reschedule and cancelled flight. In this way the number of passengers were more then the availabile seats. Therefore the staff in islamabad international airport give priority to other passesngers. It really hurt financially and mentally. Our whole plan was ruined by them. We were taking holidays after 1 year and travelling back.

A nightmare not an airline.

A nightmare not an airline.

- They lost our buggy.
- They've torn two bags
- They don't have anyone at London Gatwick to help but claim we need to speak to them first.
-I've filed 49 Baggage damage reports because they keep on asking me too. They've cancelled 46 of them.
-Their customer service will ask you to file another report then cancel it.
- This is where i am at now - still no proper response from Saudia
-If you were shot in the face- several times at close range and had to operate on yourself - it would be a less daunting and painful experience.

Would i recommend them? Walk. Run. Swim. Crawl. Use any other method or fly with anyone else. But for your safety and sanity - and that of your baggage (s) - don't use them.

I've worked - and am still involved in this industry. Saudia is an embarrassment. A farce. A joke. It's how not to run an airline.

The worst airline in 2023. I paid extra to reserve my seat in advance. They change my flight timing as a result they cancelled my seat. I had to pay again. My flight was cancelled 5 hours before departure from Heathrow.when I rang Saudi air they offered me alternate flight with Qatar airways 12 hours later. I was stranded in Heathrow for nearly 15 hours. On my return journey from Dhaka the aircraft was very old and worn out.No entertainment whatsoever. Tv screen not working, food was horrible, grumpy and lazy cabin crew.they forgot how to smile 😊. My second flight from Jeddah to Heathrow was good with newer aircraft with decent crew but When I arrived at Heathrow they failed to deliver my luggage(ref: 0065768676). I had to report for lost luggage. Lady on the counter told me it’s a common problem with Saudi air. It was about 30 passengers behind me on the queue who never received their luggage.
However, they delivered my luggage 3 days later. When I came home I emailed Saudi air for refund for the reserve seat which I paid twice but I am still waiting for my refund.
In my opinion, Saudi air is worse airline. Don’t be fooled with their advertising. They will never be like Emirates or Qatar air. You will be suffering mentally and financially. Please avoid this rubbish airline.

Lost luggage and lack of communication

I travelled from Nairobi > Jeddah > London Gatwick on 6th January (SV101). My bags were lost, and Saudia Airlines have failed to communicate anything to me. Their customer service has been terrible, and each time I call I am redirected to another email address or site to log yet another complaint.

It has now been 11 days since my flight and I have received no communication at all from Saudia Airlines. I submitted a claim form in the airport, called the call centre four times, emailed three times, and I have submitted a claim online through the portal. I have heard nothing back from Saudia Airlines. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication about the whereabouts of my luggage.

They destroyed our vacation

I was traveling with my family( 4 persons )from Riyadh to Geneva on 22 December 2023 with the flightSV239
for Christmas holidays and New Year Eve!
Our flight it was direct and expensive.when we arrived 3 of our luggage was missing!!!we have to buy clothes and many personal items and we spent a lot of money!!!our luggage were missed for 5 days which means during Christmas!!!!We make report and we ask about compensation but nobody answered to us

Avoid!

Arrived in Mumbai from Manchester enroute to Kathmandu for some trekking in the Himalayas.

Flight went ok on both legs via Jeddah. Arrived in Mumbai to find along with many other passengers from Manchester, we had no luggage. Kaos at Mumbai Airport lost luggage desk reporting the loss.

I have less than 24hrs for them to get my luggage to me or a trip of a lifetime trekking in the Himalayas is absolutely ruined.

Contacted them via X/Twitter, waste of time and going around in circles.

If you don't want your travel/adventures/holiday ruined, avoid this Airline.

Stranded in Mumbai with no clothes, toiletries, Mountain equipment, just the clothes I travelled in.

Will lose money on flight to Kathmandu and money paid to trekking company in Nepal, and thousands of pounds worth of mountain equipment.

Luggage lost twice in 10 days, no action from SAUDIA

Saudia, might be the worse airline with customer care.

unfortunate on our trip from AMS-JED-NBO they delayed our luggage's, which were returned after several days, but expenses needed to be made which until Saudia still hasnt covered these. Fast forward on the way back again SAUDIA lost a suitcase, that until today hasnt been found. After contacting them on whatsapp, mail, chat, and phone we have been waiting for a solution for almost 4 weeks. hopefully it will be resolved one day, but we have decided no to fly with this airline anymore and neither should you. NEVER FLY WITH SAUDI AIRLINES

I just bought Saudi airlines ticket for the offer in news and internet that Saudi airlines will give me 84 hours free transit visa and hotel. But when I arrived in Saudi airport authority did not gave me visa even after waiting 2 hours in queue. The lady said to me I have to get visa from Evisa service from computer on airport. Sadly I paid visa fees for my 4 family members. We did not get free hotel. It took 6 hours to find a hotel in Makkah. It cost me 500 SAR taxi bill to find the hotel.
One of my big bag was damaged when I found in DHAKA airport. I did not find anyone to give complaint there. So I informed to the London office on arrival. I have also filled the form and notified the damaged bag department online. I should get a 30kg new bag but noone did not bother to give me a call back or reply yet . its more than 13 days gone.

On the way back JED to London I bought 4 Zam Zam water but after 2 hour waiting in London Heathrow I came back home and a lady called me few hours later that I have to collect water from airport. No one gave me any information about it. It’s a total serious mismanagement.
JED to Dhaka flight monitor was not working. JED to LHR flight monitor also was not working.

Due to SAUDI AIR Broken promise for free visa my entire plan was destroyed. I couldn’t do Umrah. I couldn’t go Madinah. I was starving without food. I could not do my planned shopping. I did suffered a lot for their horrible service. I had two little daughter with me one is Autistic. They treated me like insect. Saudi airline should pay me back 1920 SAR visa fees and 500 SAR for taxi bill and Saudi airlines should pay me 10 thousand GBP additional compensation for my harassment for my whole family.

I am also afraid to go now saudi because i may be arrested for no reason or may be for the true complaint. Its a unbeliveable horrible service in my life. I am flying since last 27 years and this is my worst experience. I can even write another 500 words but i dont want to waste my time anymore. I also tried to write in facebook. They told to to give a complaint. Since last 13 days after given complain no reply yet from Saudi. There is no justice and no reply.

Saudia has lots of problems, be aware.

There was no luggage when I got to the airport. I asked them for water, they didn’t give it so I had to get out of my seat and look into the kitchen and get water in a plastic cup after with no bottle and dehydration. No coffee or any drinks. Only one meal was served. The London Heathrow to Jeddah was alright. But when I went to Jeddah to Dhaka it was rubbish. There was bedbugs on the seats and they started spraying insect spray with people onboard the plane. Avoid Saudia as much as possible. They have a very bad customer service. I don’t enjoy my holiday as I am still having to go Dhaka, a long distance to where I am. It’s a headache in my holiday. Keep 21 days in hand to collect your luggage. Not all of it may be perfect, some may be damaged of lost. You can collect it in your next holiday by then.

What a joke Saudi Airlines!

What a joke Saudi Airlines!
We came from Jeddah to London Gatwick this week, with no luggage. They are chaotic, with no customer service. They cancel your booking. I don't think they have an experience of operating an Airline. Inexperienced people, they don't serve a proper meal.
I wouldn't give them any star.

The post sale services is the worst

The post sale services is the worst. I had many issues with them so I always try to avoid them. Now they lost a baggage and noone on the counter to rise the claim only a paper suggesting to do it online but the form is not working the chatbot does never connect you to the agent and by the phone they disconnect the call because they dont recognice the boooking number but they dont give you any alternatives to connect. If you have a problem with the flight be prepare to have a BIGGER problem with saudia post sales. Avoid them as mucha as you can.

Dubios airline in case of airline driven flight cancellations or changes

The booking of our second Saudia flight (first flight was fine) provided a dubious airline experience: We paid 4 tickets for 599 EUR/ticket (489+110 EUR) Frankfurt-Seoul return. Saudia first changed the booked flights to an acceptable date, then again cancelled the flights and rebooked to unacceptable slots with very long transit times for both directions implying other flight days. So after talking with the customer support who confirmed a full refund we cancelled this unacceptable change - and received 110 Euro per ticket. 489 Euro per ticket were still pending. Depending whom I was contacting at Saudia Airlines (ammancu@saudia) we did either not check our bank account correctly for the refund - which in fact we did- or would be anyway only be eligible to 200 Euro refund. Update: following a ping-pong like mail exchange with Saudia (8 contact actions!) one employee finally forwarded the case to the department in charge that provided the refund this week. Therefore, 2 stars now instead of 1 star.

Worst than NAZIS

We flew from Islamabad to London stopping in Jeddah for Umrah when we reached Jeddah airport for London flight their staff put us in a wrong aisle queue for check in we waited 1hr 15 minutes in this queue to be told it’s wrong counter. Finally when we checked in my daughter was very sick and we had to stop at pharmacy to give her medicine. When we reached the departure gate still 20 minutes left for boarding to our horrific shock we were told flight is closed and they cancelled our 5 tickets entirely even our return flight from Lon to Islamabad. We were made to just sit there 5hrs with our daughter so sick then took us out to arrivals hall where all Saudia Airlines staff were arrogant and no one would help. Kept sending us from one counter to other. They were worst than NAZIS. NO HELP AND WE WERE STRANDED WITHOUT ANY TICKETS NOW. WE HAD TO BUY NEW TICKETS TO LEAVE. COST US SO MUCH MORE MONEY AND SUFFERED SO MUCH WITH CHILDRENS.
NEVER AGAIN WE WOULD FLY SAUDIA AIRLINES AND ADVISE ALL NOT TO.

THEY LIED TO ME AND HAVE SO MANY FLIGHT DELAYS

DONT EVER BOOK WITH SAUDIA AIRLINES. I PUT A COMPLAINT IN FOR FLIGHT DELAYS AND WE LOST MONEY BECAUSE WE COULDNT MAKE IT TO HOTEL DUE TO THEIR DELAYS AND WAS PROMISED COMPENSATION. AFTER SEVERAL EMAILS THEY ARE IGNORING MY MESSAGES AND HAVE NOT BEEN PAID WHAT WAS PROMISED. AVOID THEM AT ALL COST AS THEY ARE LIARS AND HAVE NEVER HEARD OF WHAT A CUSTOMER SERVICE IS. ITS THE WORST AIRLINE IVE TRAVELLED WITH AND ALWAYS TELL OTHERS TO AVOID THEM AT ALL COST.

Worst airlines -The lady at the front kiosk made us buy…

The lady at the front kiosk made us buy a ticket leaving Thailand which cost me a last minute 375 dollars. I had been to Thailand 37 times and immigration never asked me for a ticket leaving Thailand. The same lady made us take clothes out of our bags and move things around and tried to get us to pay another 350 usd for a checked bag. We were fumbling with our bags for over an hour at the check in counter and finally the manager told us he doesn't want to see us (wife and 2 young children) in front of the ticket booth anymore. Let us pass. We were also required to buy a bag for 65 dollars to put over another bag. The other bag was ripped from the previous airline Southwest, also a horrible experience. To be fare, the flight attendants were very kind when we finally boarded the plane. We had middle seats due to being one of the last ones to board while the bassinet seats were filled by men. We were 4 hours hours early to the departure flight and we barley made our flight due to the new girl working the front desk. I believe she was harassing us due to our passport country. There is no proof. We were kind an polite the whole time, biting our tongues and loosing our dignity. One manager made us buy extra tickets, another manager was kind and said you can just go.
