NEVER FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE!!

NEVER FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE!!! They take no responsibility for their mistakes nor do they rectify delayed flights over 16 hours which then results in costs at your last destination, lost baggage and giving meat to a vegetarian. You will loose your mind dealing with them

Jedda to dhaka

Saudi Airlines No food(If you want to eat meat then say there is chicken If you want to eat chicken then say there is vegetable). no blankets and no pillows even though you and I have paid for all these. The behavior of most is unimaginable in modern times. Most of them behave badly when you take a flight to the Asia.An employee treated a passenger in front of me with unimaginable misbehavior.

Flew Saudia from Vienna Airport to…

Flew Saudia from Vienna Airport to Bangkok with three hour transfer stopover at Jeddah Airport.

I've read some bad reviews so was anxious as travelling with family, I need not have worried.
Courteous, helpful, polite staff from start to finish, check in staff, aircraft attendants, security staff at Jeddah. All flights on time. Clean aircraft. Enough leg room in economy, I'm 1.85m. Decent choice of in-flight entertainment. Earphones supplied, blankets, pillows, eye mask, flight socks, small, hot refreshing towels for cleaning face and hands, all provided free of charge. Food, okay 'ish, yogurts, fresh fruit salad, pasta dish, breakfast a bit funky though, plenty of drinks served throughout the flight, non-alcoholic obviously but water, coca cola, juice, sprite, coffee, tea, etc, etc.

First plane was Airbus, I'd say more spacious than second plane, 787-9 Dream liner.

Jeddah Airport very clean and modern, the terminal we transferred in anyway, goodness knows what people moan about. It's a modern airport, small hub of shops and restaurants in centre, no alcohol but Macdonalds, Dominos pizza, etc and some good souvenir shops if that's your thing. Toilets clean. Smoking rooms if required.

€620 return, I honestly can't fault the whole experience. Just wish I'd taken the free stop over, 24h tourist visa and free hotel in Jeddah but we were on a tight schedule.

I had to cancel one flight in advance as my son couldn't travel, I received a full refund with no arguments, didn't expect 100% refund.

I'd recommend Saudi Airlines to anyone from our experience and would 100% fly with them again.

Maybe we were lucky but a lot of the reviews I've been reading just don't bear any resemblance to our experience.

Sea to wet, beach to sandy.... 🤔

Danger!

Danger!
There is no transit traffic at Riyadh airport and this is in the capital!
That's taking money away from this country, 120 EURO, so that you can travel further.
The country probably needs it....!

Achtung!
Am Flughafen Riad gibt es keinen Transitverkehr und das in der Hauptstadt!
Das ist Geld wegnehmen von diesem Land, 120EURO dass man weiter reisen darf.
Das Land hat es wohl nötig....!

Not a family friendly airline

Not a family friendly airline. In a space of 3 months i flew to riyadh, I called and asked for bassinet seats. I was told this was done. First time at Heathrow outbound i was told at the counter no bassinet seat. Then inbound from Riyadh i was told no bassinet seat. The flight was empty and i moved myself to a bassinet seat and requested the cot. Second flight i was given a bassinet seat after requesting from the cabin crew staff for 1. Inbound back i asked if i had a bassinet seat and was told none available to the UK same issue empty flight and bassinet seats available. Also no food offered for my baby. Pushchair arrived broken and scratched and a nightmare dealing with ground staff. My frustration comes from the service of staff and lies. I have flown with other airlines that prioritise bassinet seats for families not money. Also i asked for my pushchair to be bought to the plane door, both times this was not the case and i had to carry my baby in my arms along with hand luggage. This was not safe at all.

Disgraceful airline. One of the worst.

I travelled with 11 other passengers (including 8 children).

There where massive delays, with sub standard accomodation provided. Firealarms going off and not being turned off for 50 mins. Low quaity of food and terrible service from Aerotel staff. Add a bit of racism in there.

There is no way to write a complaint. It is even almost impossible to make a claim for delayed flights under UK261

Please don’t book with this airline

Please don’t book with this airline.
This is the worst airline I have ever traveled with. I encountered numerous issues after booking my tickets. Firstly, they rescheduled my flight without any prior notification. Then, they declined or canceled my baggage, and I still haven't received a refund for it. Booking with Saudi Airlines was a truly terrible experience. They changed the flight date after I had already booked, resulting in the loss of 4-5 days of my holiday. Despite our requests, they didn't reschedule our flight or offer any solutions. Additionally, I lost money on baggage fees. When we contacted their customer care, they were unhelpful and provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced. They would often place the phone on hold without explanation, and when they did speak, they were unresponsive and failed to address our concerns."

Disgraceful airline

Disgraceful airline! I was delayed for 19 hours because they didn't have the legally required spare aircraft on stand-by. Wasn't given any refreshments or accommodation, was lied to that there is no airside airport in Jeddah (there is) and was shouted at in a really violent way by staff when I asked for the promised refreshment voucher. They told me to apply for delay compensation but when I did they refused to pay it (even when the Civil Aviation Authority told them they had to). Had to get solicitors to force them to pay - what do you expect from a country that chops up journalists.

I wish I could give 0 stars

I wish I could give 0 stars. Worst system ever, from online booking to customer service. My booking confirmation email had an incorrect flight itinerary, can you imagine this? You start doubting yourself that maybe it was your fault. But then I checked on their website (manage booking) and it was the correct one as it should be.

Their customer service representatives don't know anything. You hear different answers every time you call. They just wait for a reason to say "Oh we can't do anything about it, please contact XYZ department".

Great experience with Air Saudia

We had a really good experience with Air Saudia flying to the Maldives from London Heathrow with changes in Riyadh to get to Male in the Maldives. Flights were on time and we had no problems with our luggage going missing.
We flew Guest class (Economy). We found the flight hosts were welcoming and friendly. The seats comfortable with reasonable leg space. The food was very good with plenty of drinks and snacks offered throughout the flights. Flight entertainment was good with plenty to choose from. The toilet facilities good, clean. I used the air saudia app to keep track of any updates. Communication from Air Saudia was good throughout.
We spent a lot of time flightside at Riydah airport overnight. This was also a good experience. There were places to get food and drink.
Free WiFi is availible in the airport and areas to charge your laptops, phones
etc. Airport staff were friendly. The airport facilities were exceptionally clean. I would definitely use Air Saudia again.
