I used RouteNote over 10 years ago to upload 3 EP/albums to Spotify among other platforms. Recently, I discovered that my music disappeared from the platform. I opened a support ticket and they are incapable of answering WHY they have taken down my music, and it's ONLY music written, recorded and produced by myself, so there is NO way that there are any copyright issues or anything like that. They've simply written that their decision is final, they can't say why, and apparently I can't upload any new releases to my account...

Thank you for your service. However, I would like to share my honest experience as an independent artist.
The biggest issue with RouteNote is the very long approval time for music releases. It often takes much longer than expected for songs to be reviewed and approved, which can delay release plans and affect promotion schedules.
Another concern is the customer support response time. When artists contact support, it can take a long time to receive a reply, and this makes it difficult to solve urgent issues quickly.
RouteNote is a good platform with many useful features, but faster release approvals and quicker customer support would make a huge difference for artists.
Thank you for taking this feedback into consideration. I hope these areas can be improved in the future.

My all emails sent by registered email was unseen or ignored by your customer care team . This is not good because my releases were under moderation from last 6 months but as your policy Your team can take as long as 1 Month to review and release a song .

Among all the music distributors I have dealt with — from big names like TuneCore, DistroKid and CD Baby to smaller services — RouteNote is the only distributor that has truly felt like a real partner, friend, and companion to the artist.
I say this while I currently have an active paid Pro/Premium annual account with TuneCore — not a standard or basic account, but one of their highest-level paid plans. I have already paid close to $60 for it, and I still have around six or seven months left before renewal. Even with that active premium subscription, I personally still prefer releasing my music through RouteNote, because RouteNote gives me the feeling that they are standing beside me like a real friend, not just treating me like another account number.
They do not just wait for problems to happen. They guide you, support you, and help clear the road before you even realize there might be an obstacle ahead. While many distributors can make things feel complicated for new or independent artists with endless requirements, documents, and stressful processes, RouteNote actually helps artists move forward instead of discouraging them.
Yes, the release process can take a little longer, sometimes close to a month, but in my opinion that is completely understandable, especially because RouteNote gives artists the option to release music for free. Also, having a release scheduled ahead of time is actually useful, because it gives the artist time to plan the release properly, appear in upcoming releases, pitch to playlists, and build a stronger rollout.
I am truly thankful to RouteNote. On behalf of myself, DrDj, my dear collaborators Big Boss and Dr.Beat, and our label/publisher King Record, I want to say thank you. RouteNote really stands beside the artist and even moves one step ahead to make the path smoother.

I've got a paid subscription to Easy Music AI, have spent hours writing all the lyrics to 15 songs and also using AI on other songs for the lyrics, to create original songs, albeit with the help of AI. I just waited about 12 days with a lot of releases In Review and now they are getting rejected because, well, a lot of reasons including bullshit about fraud but also that they can't confirm the ownership of the songs. What use is this site? Don't waste your time!

RouteNote wasted a huge amount of my time.
I uploaded two original releases, waited through a long “In Review” period, missed the planned release timing, contacted support, and only then received a generic rejection with no specific explanation. After that, they told me they would not accept further releases from my account.
The worst part is not even the rejection itself — it is the delay, the lack of clarity, and the completely non-specific reasoning after weeks of waiting.
If a distributor does not want a release, they should say so quickly and clearly. Keeping releases stuck in review and then rejecting them with a vague template is not acceptable.
Very disappointing experience.
