At Respiray, we build wearable technology that helps people feel better in environments they can’t control - from crowded airports and long flights to hot city streets and packed events.
What started in 2020 as a science-driven response to airborne viruses has evolved into a full ecosystem of wearable air treatment devices designed for modern life.
Today, Respiray develops two flagship products: Wear A+, our wearable air purifier, and the Respiray Neck Fan, a premium personal cooling device. Different problems - one philosophy: take control of the air around you.
Wear A+ is now primarily trusted as a travel essential. It helps reduce exposure to viruses, illnesses, and dirty air commonly associated with planes, airports, public transport, and dense urban environments. At the same time, it remains highly effective against pollen, dust, and other airborne allergens.
The Respiray Neck Fan brings relief in a different way: delivering hands-free cooling when air conditioning isn’t an option. It’s designed for comfort, endurance, and everyday wear, whether you’re commuting, traveling, or spending hours outdoors.

The device arrived promptly and in good working order. I got in touch with the customer service to discuss the function and got an immediate, friendly and competent response. Respiray appears to be a startup that is very interested in making their customers as happy as they can.

The team at Respray is amazingly available and helpful. There is a 7 hour time difference between Estonia and where I live, but they responded very quickly to the questions I had about the product. There was a glitch in delivery, totally the fault of the delivery service, and the staff at Respiray was willing to work very hard with me to resolve the issue.
The devices came well packaged, with a detailed, well-written, easy to understand instruction booklet. The instructions are simple and straightforward; it is not complicated to this device. We have only had them for a few weeks, so cannot speak to durability, but they are easy to use and comfortable to wear. I was concerned about the sound of the fan, but in an area with any ambient noise it is not at all an issue. Even when you can hear it, say before you enter a store, it is quite soft and not intrusive - barely audible, actually. We are quite pleased with our Respiray devices and have recommended them to others.

Due to my nose, which isn't anatomically in perfect shape, I find it hard to breath through regular facemask. This has caused my panic attacks while being in the public transport, because at one point, I just feel that I cannot breath and it gives me anxiety since I feel like dying. With Respiray, I can protect myself and most importantly, I can breath again!

I love its solid, futuristic design, the level of protection it affords and the peace of mind it brings - once I switch on my "Respiray", I feel impregnable!
"What's the fuss all about?" Some will say. Let them say. The fact is, there is nearly a quarter of a million cases of COVID-19 per week in the UK (as of 10 October 2021) and yet many behave as if this deadly virus was bygone. They are in denial. "Herd mentality" and "cognitive dissonance" explain it better.
If you go to a cinema in London - or a theatre - you will find that practically no one now wears a mask! Among them there will be the anti-vaxxers; how many? Your guess is as good as mine...
If like me you are a fan of the big screen - or the stage for that matter - but worried about catching a virus, with "Respiray" that probability is close to zero. As safe as it gets.

Overall, it’s a good product, but the loud noise makes teaching in front of a class difficult.

Good innovative product, easy to wear and long lasting battery. The only thing I would say is that after 3 weeks of constant use the white colour starts coming off from areas where it touches the shoulders. Perhaps you would consider matte colour and not shiny for the future. Secondly also the shoulder area black rubber or similar material stickers are coming off and I find this very irritating.
