Rentokil Kenya's bedbug process is ineffective! I had bedbug bites the first night back in my bedroom after 2 weeks away. The chemicals used have a sickly sweet smell too!

If I could do a review of zero I would
Total shocking company
Once an appointment was booked for home treatment and payment taken the nightmare started. Delays in getting a date and time, then changed and then no one turned up so they rebooked - only repsone or explanation ‘supervisor only emailed me yesterday’
Avoid at all costs - we certainly won’t be using these guys again!!

Excellent service

Chris, our main driver, is fantastic. He arrives weekly, without fail and always with a smile on his face. He is happy and friendly and our clients love it when he 'visits'.

David Best Employee 2023

We've recently been getting visited by David Stout who has been incredibly sweet and gone over the top to provide us with quality service in store, from telling us which scents are getting installed in our diffuser to recommended maintenance, which we rarely got from any previous staff.

a vey sub standard pest control company worse than 1 star

Hi

I really need to cancel this contract its been useless the mice have been In the co2 traps and left droppings but they haven’t been caught in them. I’ve caught 3 mice on glue traps since the co2 traps were laid.The last person that came by last was pretty much useless as well he stuffed a hole with wire wool n told me to get some mesh to cover other places. I could work that out myself I really cant justify the price of £544 price tag for this service to say im unhappy is a understatement. I just want to cancel this contract at this point i’ve attached pics of the co2 traps that have mouse droppings in with no dead mice its been so frustrating please get back to me on how I can cancel the contract and to be honest I feel its unfair that I still have to part with any money for this service its been a total failure

Extremely dubious practice and extortionate charges

My 92 year old mother-in-law made an initial inquiry with Rentokil but cancelled her appointment. Rentokil nevertheless charged over £600 to her credit card without any notification that this was their practice or any indication that the money was to be refunded given the circumstances. Moreover, the sum charged seems extortionate. This practice of charging large sums of money for work that was never undertaken seems to border on the fraudulent and has caused considerable anxiety and distress to a very elderly and vulnerable person.

Following a complete roof installation…

Following a complete roof installation last year we noticed obnoxious odours throughout our property. Which gradually got worse over time.
The roofers were unable to identify the problem so I contacted Rentokill as they have a fine reputation as a long established company well known for solving problems like this.
I spoke with a lady who listened to what I had to say but her reaction was one of a total lack of interest and a refusal to even take a look.

Would I recommend Rentokil?
Certainly not.
No professionalism
No customer skills
Not bothered

It signs you up but doesn't provide the service promised

I am a long term customer for mouse control but over the last two or three years Rentokil has made no attempt to contact me to arrange visits. Your only dealings are with operatives using personnel who don't stay and the newcomers do not leave messages. I will not call unknown numbers.
It is expensive (now £800pa!) and the price includes quarterly visits but the last visit was about 1 year ago.
I am now trying to terminate the contract but this is far from simple. I am not there yet!
My advice, get you own bait stations and a cat.

Thank you

I wanted to say thank you to Debbie Paul for being so compassionate when I desperately needed help with a bio-hazard clean at my mums property.

I also wanted to say a huge thank you to Nathan who came and done the clean. He was caring and considerate as my mum was still being seen by the paramedics when he arrived. He was patient and then did a fantastic clean up job.

I can’t thank you both enough and certainly made a traumatic time easier for me to handle. I hope you both have a lovely festive break.

Had an infestation of Mice so got in Rentokil…

Had an infestation of Mice so got in touch with Rentokil. The workman came and laid a few traps. My granddaughter had taken up a few floorboards up in the conservatory and below was a nest. The workman said as they were not carpenters they were not allowed to do any work. How would the nest have been found?
The problem is that when they get rid of the Mice and leave the Mice will come back.
Being charged £987+Vat for five visits lasting about half an hour is way over the top.

This is the worst company we have ever dealt with…

This is the worst company to deal with when you have a bill dispute. They just bully you with debt collection companies and send endless threatening letters that take no account of your bona fide dispute around contract termination and early termination fees for which neither company has any paperwork. They simply don't listen. Forced to pay an unfair bill as threatened with small claims court now.
We are a small charity supporting the blind and partially sighted of Hampshire and just trying to stand our ground over a genuine dispute. Would not recommend using this company - plenty of others out there.

Lydia fom Darlington a Star!

We applied to rentakill for a deep clean of our son's flat after he unexpectedly died alone. We were contacted by Lydia,in Darlington where the flat is.
The support and advice we received from this compassionate, professional young woman was outstanding; she explained clearly,exactly what needed to be carried out to ensure we could continue to make arrangements for our deceased son, the empathy she displayed during our first meeting was commendable. Lydia continued to inform us via email, at each stage of our involvement. This lady is a remarkable example of how professionalism and compassion can be combined. Thank you Lydia.
