I had 2 bad ones before, just make sure to ask Red to change straight away if you’re not feeling it. The difference is night and day.

I learned to drive through Red Driving School in Slough with Jay and had the best experience. I was really nervous about learning to drive and had been putting it off for a long time, but I needed to learn before moving to Australia.

Jay was amazing! He was incredibly patient, understanding, and supportive throughout the whole process. I could always ask plenty of questions and was never made to feel silly if I made a mistake. He also has a great sense of humour, and we always had a good laugh during lessons, which helped me feel much more relaxed and confident behind the wheel.

I completed an intensive course with around 3–4 lessons a week and passed my test first time, thanks to Jay's excellent teaching. He knew I really needed to pass before moving, but he never rushed me and made sure I was completely ready before sitting my test.

I would highly recommend Jay to anyone looking to learn to drive, especially if you're nervous about getting started. He made what felt like a daunting experience much easier and helped me build confidence every step of the way.

Glen pulled through in such a short time to help me nail my driving ready for my test and I got a 98% pass so happy I used him and will forever pass him on to people who are looking for a driving instructor

Tomasz Cieslikiewicz from Wood Green in North London is simply a true gem among driving instructors in London. He treats every learner individually, depending on their natural ability to drive. He is patient and understanding, notices our mistakes, and helps us correct them and improve our driving culture.
During lessons, he is calm, brings a sense of peace, and makes you feel safe while driving. Driving with him is a pleasure and a joy. He helps you deal with stress, and every lesson with him builds your confidence.
Tomasz Cieslikiewicz is an instructor I would recommend to anyone who wants to start learning to drive from the beginning, as well as to people who want to refresh their driving skills after a break and return to driving on UK roads.

By far the best instructor i managed to find in the 5+ years of learning to drive, Dan Ridgeway is such a professional and a true teaching mogul. He was always so calm and when i made mistakes this calm approach was just what i needed. Overall passing my driving test first time and it wouldn’t have been possible without Dan’s constant words of encouragement, if you’re doing lessons in Worcester i couldn’t recommend him enough.

My instructor, Andy, in Cambridge helped me pass. I've had other instructors in the past, but can frankly say that Andy has been the most supportive, patient, down-to-earth and helpful instructor I have had. Thank you!

My experience with this driving school has been very disappointing and far below the standard one would expect. My driving instructor (his name is MD Salman bin Uzzaman), who I had from June 2025 to March 2026, was very unreliable, and lessons with him were stressful, difficult, and caused a great deal of unnecessary trouble for me. My experience was bad enough that I decided (before my first practical test in March 2026) that I would not continue taking lessons with him after that practical test, which I ended up failing with 5 majors. The driving school itself was also unsatisfactory. When I was first arranging to have lessons through RED, I provided the area in which I live and was offered a choice of three manual instructors; after I stopped having lessons, I discovered that my residence did not appear to be within the area that my driving instructor (MD Salman bin Uzzaman) covered, meaning that there is a very good chance I was provided an instructor by RED that was not only of sub-par quality but also out of bounds. The cost of lessons is another issue of note, as whenever I would book a block of lessons through RED, RED would apply a digital charge and a booking fee, meaning that the final cost for purchasing a block of lessons was in fact larger than the cost of the lesson hours themselves. Yet another issue of note is that I was unable to search for new instructors from RED through my MyRED account, and when I asked the driving school over the phone if I could have my driving instructor taken off my account, I was told that this would not be possible unless I had already arranged to have lessons with another instructor.

The result of all this is that my experience with RED in general, and the driving instructor I was unfortunate enough to cross paths with, has been very, very poor. Anyone reading this should think twice before choosing this driving school; the quality of its driving instructors is clearly not guaranteed (and so lessons are not guaranteed to give you value-for-money) and the process of finding/changing an instructor is unacceptably flawed. I am most likely going to continue learning to drive with another provider, be that a driving school or an independent instructor - RED just doesn't seem to cut it at all.

Very poor service. My son had lessons with Judit Veres in Surrey, with his last session on 1 June and another scheduled for 18 June. When the booking disappeared, he reached out and was told she had already moved out of the area—without any prior notice. This left him stranded with no time to find another instructor. A complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy. Avoid this driving school

Amin AL-Haddad best instructor ever i passed my driving test first time with him he’s very good in what he does he loves his job and does it for passion he helped me manage my nerves before the test but most important he teach me how to drive in a Safe and professional way which I will never forget, he improved my driving skills and supported me in each step to go forward with my exam I’d like to thank him and Red Car Company for the beautiful experience and amazing job☺️

I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Madona Antoun is patient, encouraging, and always made lessons relaxed, no matter how nervous I felt at the start. She broke down tricky manoeuvres simply, gave me honest feedback, and adapted the pace of lessons to suit my needs. Her teaching methods really helped me feel in control, confident on the road and ready for the test. Passed first attempt in Yeading test centre! Would definitely recommend to anyone learning to drive, 10/10!

James Valente is a superb instructor! I passed first time with only three driver faults and couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. His attention to detail was outstanding and his knowledge and expertise were second to none. He is a kind, patient, supportive and friendly instructor who made learning to drive a positive experience. Highly recommended.

Brilliant Instructor!

My instructor was Marcus, lessons and test were in the Bromley area. He's very professional, thorough and supportive. I liked the way he explained things and how he identified key areas of focus to make the lessons as efficient as possible. He's got a very good knowledge of the area, which helped a lot with preparation for the test.

Faraz has been an excellent driving instructor! The experience was smooth sailing. I learned a lot from my lessons with Faraz!
