Neena was my driving instructor. She was very careful and considerate which helped me to learn, even as a nervous new driver. I was able to achieve a pass first time as Neena was there to give me a sense of confidence and reassured me of my capabilities. I would highly recommend!

Shibu Narayannair is a top class instructor.

I honestly don’t think I could have passed without Shibu Narayannair. When I started, I was incredibly nervous behind the wheel, but his patience and encouragement completely transformed my driving. He have a gift for explaining complex maneuvers in a way that just clicks, and he always made me feel safe, even when I made mistakes. He didn't just teach me how to pass the test; he taught me how to be a safe driver for life. Thank you for everything. I’ll miss our lessons.

I have concerns about the conduct of an individual associated with Red Driving School who acts as an administrator in a Facebook "Are We Dating The Same Guy" group. Based on what I have observed, there appears to be behaviour that I consider unprofessional, including targeting, hostility, and unfair treatment towards some male members.

While I understand that employees have personal lives outside of work, I believe companies should be aware when individuals connected to their brand engage in conduct that may reflect poorly on the organisation.

I hope Red Driving School takes concerns about respectful behaviour and professionalism seriously and reviews any evidence brought to its attention.

This review reflects my personal observations and opinions.

My name is Sanaa, and I had 10 hours of driving lessons with Instructor Ali, who demonstrated exceptional professionalism and patience. He proved to be an excellent teacher, consistently encouraging and empowering me, which greatly put me at ease. I am currently learning to drive a manual car and have been experiencing some challenges with the clutch and gearbox. Ali instilled confidence in me, especially as I was initially quite apprehensive and anxious. With each session, and thanks to Ali's invaluable help and guidance, I observed significant improvements in my driving abilities. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ali to any new student, as he possesses the ideal teaching methodology and demeanor for working with learners. I am very much looking forward to scheduling my next session with Ali.

Raj Rathod based in Chalfont St Peter is an amazing driving instructor. So patient, helpful and overall great person who really cares about you passing and is always pushing you onto the next thing to improve can’t recommend him enough.

I passed my driving test yesterday with no faults at all thanks to the most brilliant instructor, James Ursell, in Birmingham. Not only does James have a very methodical approach for learning how to drive, he really has the ability to TEACH and to adjust his approach to suit the learner. I feel like James has not just taught me how to pass my test, but how to be a genuinely good and safe driver on the roads.

James also works hard to understand his students and help with any blockers to passing the test (for me this was nerves) and is genuinely a lovely person to have a chat with while you learn to drive.

I can really see how James won the Instructor of the Year award and couldn’t recommend him more if you want to pass your test but also become a confident and skilled driver. Thank you James!

It was a seamless experience with Red driving school from theory to practical thanks to their great app which tracks both very well . The app played a big role in my theory test passing and relied on it completely . On the practical driving side , I had Riad Attia as my instructor. He is an exceptional driving instructor whose patient and reassuring approach completely transformed my confidence behind the wheel and has been flexible to accomodate me as per my schedule. Thanks to his genuine dedication and expert guidance, I felt completely prepared for my test. Highly recommend Red driving school and instructor Riad Attia for anyone looking to get their drivers license.

My instructor Tanisha Broady is a legend! Throughout the lessons, despite all my driving anxiety causing me to make lots of mistakes, she has been so patient and intentional about making sure I understand and succeed in my test, and yes I passed my test on the very first try! The learning experience has been nothing short of amazing; the pep talks, explanations and kindness really did it for me. You can see that she genuinely wishes the best for you. I'll contact her during the week and she'll respond to all my queries, and even send voice notes explaining how to manoeuvre on challenging roads.

If you need an instructor, Tanisha Broady is the best! Better book now.

Best driving instructor!

Mariam was a great instructor and helped me while I was learning. She helped me build my confidence and gave me the ability to pass my test first time. I recommend booking with her!

andrew was a great instructor he made me feel relaxed every lesson which helped me learn better

I strongly recommend Luke Gurling as a driving instructor. He is patient, knowledgeable, and really easy to get along with, which makes learning to drive feel much less stressful. Luke is very approachable and explains things in a way that’s easy to understand, always taking the time to make sure everything makes sense. Overall, he makes learning to drive feel straightforward and genuinely achievable, and I always felt like I was progressing each lesson.

I had a great experience with both my Instructors Tyreek and Tanisha Broady, they both explained things very well, remained calm, and made everything simple. RED’s admin has been very good too, no waiting times and helpful staff on the phones.

I had a disappointing experience with RED Driving School involving one of their instructors, Emeka.

I booked a lesson with less than 24 hours’ notice. Around two hours before the lesson, I contacted the instructor to ask whether it could be rescheduled because I was unable to attend at the booked time. He replied that he was unavailable at any other time that day.

As I had requested a change rather than cancelling the lesson, I expected him to attend at the original scheduled time if the lesson could not be rearranged. However, he did not attend, and the lesson was later recorded as though I had cancelled it. I was charged £90, which I disputed with RED Driving School.

I raised a formal complaint, but after their investigation they decided not to uphold it. I was disappointed with how the complaint was handled and did not feel my concerns had been properly addressed.

During the period I was learning with this instructor, I also felt the quality of tuition was poor. My 90-minute lessons often finished around 15 minutes early, and I did not feel I was receiving value for the full lesson time.

Because my driving test was approaching, I decided to stop taking lessons with RED and switched to another driving instructor from a different company. After only a few lessons with the new instructor, I passed my practical driving test on my first attempt with no driving faults.

This review reflects my personal experience with both the instructor and RED Driving School’s handling of my complaint.

I passed my driving test first time in Southall on the 16th June 2026 thanks to my amazing driving instructor Suzan Besarany!

I started lessons with her sometime in April after having over 40 hours lessons with previous instructors, and in the short period we had lessons, she made a huge difference to my driving and confidence.

What really stood out for me was how efficient and effective her teaching was. Every lesson felt productive and she focused on helping me become a safe and confident driver rather than dragging out the learning process to increase the number of lessons.

I honestly wish I had started with her from day one as I am sure I would have passed much sooner and saved a lot of money on lessons. She was always punctual, patient and explained everything clearly.

I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and friendly driving instructor.

I learned to drive and passed my test in Southend-on-Sea all thanks to Rob Smart. Rob is very patient and encouraging, and helped me from the very beginning to develop my driving skills and build up my confidence when driving. He is also easy to get along with and has a flexible way of teaching, which helped me develop my knowledge and skills when driving.
I would 100% recommend Rob!

Genuinely recommend Tee (Telisha Josephs), defo the instructor-OAT. Always clear, calm, and supportive with instructions and reactions during lessons. Was so encouraging and warm from my very first driving lesson til the end; covered commentary driving, tips to pass the exam, and general feedback to help me be a genuinely good driver!!
