Disappointing experience with RedBus
Disappointing experience with RedBus. I paid ₹1600 for 2 seats, but the bus condition was very poor and unhygienic. Curtains were dirty with stains and bubblegum, interiors were damaged, and even cockroaches were seen in the sleeper area.
My earlier booking was cancelled last moment, so I had to book this urgently. Also, proper bus details were not provided.
The bus had a 4-star rating, which is clearly misleading. Attaching photos as proof. Not recommended.
I Formal Complaint Against Bus Driver for Misconduct and Unsafe Drop-Off
I am writing to formally report a serious incident involving one of your bus services booked through redBus (Raj Kalpana).
My relative, Mrs. Savita Singh, along with her child, had a confirmed ticket from Akbarpur (Kanpur Dehat) to Pari Chowk, Greater Noida. The journey took place early in the morning, around 5:00 AM.
Unfortunately, the driver, Mr. Jeetu Thakur (Contact: 9335669298), behaved in a highly unprofessional and threatening manner. Despite having a valid ticket to Pari Chowk, he forcefully asked them to get off the bus approximately 5–6 kilometers before the designated stop.
When questioned, the driver responded with threats and arrogance, stating that no one could take action against him and that he would continue to act as he pleased. This behavior is completely unacceptable, especially considering that a woman and a small child were left stranded in an unfamiliar area at such an early hour.
This incident raises serious concerns about passenger safety, accountability, and service reliability. If any harm had occurred, your organization would have been fully responsible.
I request strict action to be taken against the driver and assurance that such incidents will not happen in the future. Additionally, I expect a formal apology and clarification on the safety measures you have in place for passengers.
I hope you treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves.

Very disappointing experience with RedBus. I requested cancellation/rescheduling 5 hours before boarding, but the support team denied it saying it’s not in the bus operator policy. This was not clearly communicated during booking. Customers should be properly informed about such strict policies in advance.
False offers by Flixbus and Redbus
I traveled 5 times between Bangalore to Thoothukudi by Flixbus in the last 2 months. Did the boking through Redbus. Not even once the bus has been punctual. Take 14+ hrs as the Bus takes detour into towns and cities instead of taking Bye pass. Absolutely no time sensitivity. The length of side berth is small and have to bend the legs while sleeping. There was an offer of Travel 4 times and get free ticket for the 5th time. When I booked the 5th time, I got to know that the free ticket was only for Rs700. If I take the amount for the 5 trips, Rs700/ works to be just 10% discount, which even other Travels provide just for a 2 way trip. This is a TOTAL SCAM by REDBUS and FLIXBUS

It was pathetic service from Red Bus. I had booked the Jain Travels bus vis Red Bus from Mumbai to Karad on 09th March 2026. First of all there was no tracking at all and bus was delayed but nobody informed me. I tried checking with contact details I searched online but I was successful only after trying 2-3 different numbers. Later they informed it's late by 1 and half hour. But it was further delayed and there was no updates due to no tracking. I had cancel the bus and take another one. But funny part is Red Bus was asking for my feedback on journey which was never started. I requested refund and it's been almost 3 weeks but no refund yet but Red Bus sent me closure for my refund request via WhatsApp. Please do not book via Red Bus but if you do so then forget about tracking, refund etc.

The hygiene condition of the bus is unacceptable. The blanket provided was extremely dirty, unhygienic, and not fit for use. This is a direct violation of basic passenger safety and cleanliness standards expected in an A/C sleeper service.
Despite raising the issue during the journey and contacting RedBus support on WhatsApp, there was no response or resolution provided. This clearly shows negligence and poor customer support.
I strongly demand:
1. Immediate action against the bus operator for maintaining such poor hygiene
2. A partial or full refund for the inconvenience and discomfort caused
If this issue is not addressed promptly, I will escalate this matter to the Consumer Forum and highlight this on social media platforms.

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the extremely poor and unprofessional service I experienced on my scheduled journey from Chandigarh to Srinagar with Ram Dalal Bus Service, booked through your platform.
I had made an advance booking through the RedBus app with 100% payment in advance. My travel details are as follows:

Driver Contact: 9899880504
Passenger Name: Anjum
On the day of travel, I contacted the driver at around 7:50 PM as per the contact details shared via WhatsApp. He initially informed me of a boarding location and asked me to reach there. I reached the said location around 9:15 PM, however the driver did not respond to my calls.
Later, at around 10:15 PM, he called back and changed the boarding location. I agreed and immediately moved to the new location. After reaching there, the driver again did not respond to my calls. After approximately 20 minutes, he called back and informed me that he had already left the location and could not wait.
Despite repeatedly requesting him to stop or allow me to board, he refused. I later came to know that he had onboarded another passenger without a valid ticket for personal benefit.
When I contacted RedBus customer care and Ram Dalal Bus Service office staff, no proper assistance was provided. Instead of resolving the issue or offering an apology, the driver behaved rudely, used abusive language, and even issued threatening statements such as “Come to Jammu or Srinagar, I will show you.”
This experience was extremely distressing and unacceptable for a frequent traveller like me. It appears that passengers are being misled by accepting advance bookings and then altering routes or boarding arrangements at the last moment for illegal monetary gains.
I request the following actions immediately:
Full refund of my ticket amount.
Strict action against the driver and the bus operator for misconduct and threatening behaviour.
Assurance that such incidents will not happen with other passengers.
If my issue is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to escalate the matter further through social media platforms and initiate legal proceedings against both RedBus and the bus operator.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
