Used Rapid Secure to board up a broken window following a burglary. Quick service and a good job. However, when paying the invoice over the phone they said they could quote for the replacement window... See more

This company is very rude and unprofessional, I have spoke to them three times informing them that the person does not longer live at the address yet they still keep hounding a vulnerable adult for an outstanding bill. They have all the information yet still sending threatening letters .
These parasites were sent to my property and next door by the police after a fire. Nothing was mentioned about paying for this and nobody said there was an option to refuse, so i wated in smoke filled environment for them to finally arrive even though i had already refitted the panel. The guy that turned up was a nice guy and confirmed it was secure and pushed the last bezel in (no replacement parts needed and he spent around 1 minute in total when he was there mainly to deal with the doors next door where the fire occurred.
Now i have received my first correspondence from them in the form of a threatening bullying letter demanding £228 and £110 for a court fee less than 40 working days later. This is their first contact with me and i spoke to a less than pleasant and completely uncompassionate person on the phone who had no interested in anything other than taking as much money as possible. Never use this company.
Police use these contractors knowingly aware that they sre purposefully targeting vulnerable innocent people.
They are often not rapid, their work is insecure and shoddy at best, their employees are rude, unsympathetic, insulting and the administration staff under Estimate the customers intelligence.
To explain to RS administrators that if you are going to pick fights with people that you have underestimated expect at least one to have legal knowledge beyond your own. Secondly dont issue threats on documents that use documents that have court titles and only issued by the court for the court.
Although I understand your business is run as a service thst reauires rapid response to secure peoples property I think it is unjustifiable how your empolees have handled some situations, and then charged often victims of violent crime £1oos for unnecessary and unwanted.
Your 24 hr Telephone operators are purposefully unhelpful insulting.
I belive you are a racketeering bidiness using your connections with the police to access vulnerable, scared victims of often violent crime in order to financially benefit your business.
Your pockets are much deeper than ours and if this behaviour continues your pockets will be lighter than ours too.
NOBODY PAY -
IF YOU WEREN'T GIVEN A PRICE BEFORE THE WORK
IF THE SERVICE WAS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE,
IF THE WORK WAS.NOT REQUIRED
IF INDEED IF THEY SENT A THREAT OF COURT ACTION ON A NOTICE THAT CAN ONLY BE ISSUED FROM THE COURT FOR A BREACH OF A COURT ORDER.
RAPID SECURE SHOULD NOT BE SENDING COURT WARNING NOTICES AS THEY CAN ONLY BE ISSUED BY COURT.
THE USE OF SCARY LETTERS WITH THREATS OF CCJs ARE ONLY SCARY IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE.
I have dealt with many debts, many stay of executions, cancelled evictions, court notices, solictitors intentions, court application fees, wrongful evictions, trespass, restitution orders and its clear that RS Ltd are in way over their capability.
I suggest it is in the best interests of RS to cease and desist from the harassment and intimidation of the innocent and vulnerable people.
Just Stop or I will ensure I get involved if its the last thing i do.
If I find out any more people are charged for insufficient work, services or if you charge people before providing quoted price first (please ensure a full breakdown of charges for materials, call out, 24 hr assist, labour. I personally will make sure every injustice you have carried out over the last 6 yrs drags every person associated with or assisting RS with their grossly unjust service charges.
For the Avoidance of doubt & please rest assured that my words are a promise not a threat & make not any mistake the invoice for my final bill will exceed far more than a few hundred quid. Not only will I be making my application for restorative compensation and damages for myself but it will imclude every justifiably Unhappy customer.
I intend for your company to be used as an example as to what businesses like yours can expect as a consequence is they are caught knowingly further victimising, vulnerable people at a time whey they are already most distressed.
We used Rapid Secure twice in a week and they came out quickly and secured the property for us. Very helpful.

Further on again,
Further on again from the previous two reviews, they have now sent out a warning letter regarding the bill, WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID!
Steer clear of these "People"
West Yorkshire Police called this company out to secure my Father’s property. They had to force entry after he passed away. Having driven up through the night, I arrived to find they had done an abysmal job and the property was not fully secured. The door, which had been cut open, was left wide open and the attempt at securing consisted of a piece of plywood, badly screwed to the external frame, which was far too small, leaving a significant gap at the top. This left the house exposed to the elements, with wind and rain coming in and would have been easy for anyone to gain access with minimal effort. I had to call someone else to come out the next day, undo the mess and secure the property properly. They charged me over £200 for this failure in service.
Police called this company to come secure my door as it wouldn’t close. On arrival the person never spoke to me or explained what he was doing or what it was going to cost. I was giving the police a statement and the police officer asked me to sign the form so he could fix it which I asked multiple times how much it would cost and got no reply. I was in a vulnerable situation and I feel the company took advantage they changed my lock when it didn’t need changing, the metal needed bending back that’s all. I had had an awful experience and was very upset. I got a bill through for £276 I called to ask and the custom service was shocking they didn’t care and said I need to pay the bill, one women said I should of read the letter properly. Hopefully she never had to go through what I did that night! Another lady said I should off told them I didn’t want it doing yet they never spoke to me and I was going through a lot in that moment!! I continued calling to sort this they ignored me calls, didn’t help and was very judgemental!! Avoid this company at all costs!! Oh and to top it off I had to get the locks changed again because the one they fitted didn’t work properly!!
The police called this company due to my damaged door. I was is a vulnerable situation, the person who come didn’t communicate with me, the police asked me to sign the form so he could fix it. He then changed the lock which didn't need doing. The door wasn’t fixed. They sent me a bill of £276! I called to ask why I wasn’t made aware off the charge. The customer service was rude didn’t help basically said I can have a payment plan and I should read things properly judging my situation which they didn’t know what I was going through that night! Awful company, awful customer service, they rip of and take advantage off vulnerable people!!
My family arrived home from our holiday and found our backdoor had been smashed in and our home burgled. A rapid and professional service from Rapid Secure! Great work!

Firstly the positive. They arrived promptly and were polite and professional, now the negative. We used Rapidsecure to make good a broken window and to replace barrels on door locks after house burglary and due to the time in the evening was recommended to them by the attending police officers, when the locksmith arrived, we were told to make an immediate payment prior to the locks being changed, the payment was £720 for 6 lock barrels installed, not only is this an extortionate price even for a call out at night, due to being in a stressful situation, we didnt have clarity of thought to try and call an independent lock smith, the barrels used were poor quality and didn’t fit correctly in all doors, we have been since been told by another firm that the locks replaced are very cheap and not sufficient as long term replacements so we should change them again. The Bottom line is if you get burgled google
Were there when needed in an emergency and easy to arrange. However excessively priced and the gentleman that came struggled to remove the window beading so my husband had to step in. Also he just pushed the remainder of the smashed glass out and left it there. Be prepared to clear away.
Great service polite staff would highly recommend

It all started when my uncle had a fall ( he is 77 with dementia). The police broke in then called rapid secure who came out on the 6th Nov. My uncle was released from hospital 13th dec. we called to check the house and the neighbour gave me the post as they had boarded up the letter box. The was an invoice for £228 (piece of wood and to drive 32miles). So I phoned to explain that he was in hospital but the woman in accounts said I don’t care it should have been paid within 14 days. It will be hand over to a debt collector agency. I told her that no one was there so as long as I pay on the 30th dec should be ok. I phoned today and the office is closed. They need better office staff. Can not wait to go to court with a dementia patient .
