Nice variety of classes

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Pure Gym in Copenhagen. Due to a mistake in their system, I have been charged over 1,200 DKK for a membership I wasn’t even aware was active after August. Despite my best efforts to clarify the situation and prove it was their error, they have shown little accountability, leaving me to bear the cost for their negligence.

When I renewed my membership in August at the Brønshøj location, the staff member inputted my email address incorrectly. As a result, I never received any communications regarding payments or membership status. Since I didn’t receive any notifications, I wasn’t aware that my membership was still active. The gym made no attempt to contact me through other means, like SMS or a phone call, even though they had those details on file. It’s shocking that a mistake on their part—entering my email address incorrectly—would result in me paying for months I did not use the service. Instead of apologizing and rectifying the situation fully, they chose to pass the blame onto me, citing their terms and conditions.

I had plans to rejoin the gym in January, but this experience has left me feeling deeply disappointed and disrespected as a customer. I would caution others to double-check every detail when dealing with this gym, as they clearly do not prioritize customer satisfaction or fairness.

Good atmosphere, enough equipments, clean changing room and bathroom.

I recently transferred to this gym location, and my membership fee increased by 40 DKK. A month after the transfer, I went to train and found that the gym is undergoing renovations and no longer has many of its machines available.
I pay for the "All In" plan, but currently, there are no machines or equipment for me to use, which means I am paying over 450DKK for nothing.
The staff suggested that I pay for a bus and go to another location.

Great class selection and good instructors.

The renovated gym is spacious in the free weights area and perfect to have a good session of training. The machines upstairs have been upgraded although it feels slightly more creowded there than before.

I recommend the gym in Frejasvej in Hillerød, the atmosphere is very cosy, it's not too busy and I feel comfortable there

My son uses the center, I got billed extra for not paying on time. However I have written customer service in advance to inform them why the payment was late and that since my card was stolen and I hadn't been able to come to the center to register a new card due to travel. And It's not possible to register a new card online. I never heard back from customer service while they kept adding more to my bill. With all other services a customer service gets back to you ASAP and helps to work it out.

the best gym in kbh

I am using the Lergravsvej gym and i like the space and equipment. The problem is some members just leave their locks on the lockers and never take them out (as those lockers belong them personally).
In the gym rules written on PureGym webpage it says:
"Members are asked to only use the lockers for the duration of their training session. Lockers will be emptied at night and members items removed to lost property. Padlocks may be broken to gain access and will not be replaced by Pure Gym."
But no action is being taken for the last 4 months period. They are still locked and out of use.
I have contacted with PureGym many times, since this May, each time the answer was 'they will let the gym manager know about this problem'. But again, nothing happens, and there are many lockers are not available because of the members keeping their locks on all the time, and the gym does not do anything to solve this problem. (once i have been told that the bolt cutter is stolen - 3 months ago). It is very sad to see that they cannot follow their own rules and taking no action - I guess the anwer to this review will be again the same - "we will contact with the gym manager about the problem".

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at PureGymthat were clearly marked as "All-in" when I selected them. I was repeatedly charged for items after having All-in supscription for severall month and I was aware that I will be charged if the product do not this tags. It was a mistake by the pure gym branch to remove the All-in tags from the producs who where not part of campaign anymore, so I was charged based on their faults!!!

Despite bringing this to their attention, I was told that these items weren’t part of the All-in offer and was essentially blamed for not checking the product range online!!! How ridiculous!

PureGym is either careless with their signage or deliberately misleading their members. Either way, it’s unacceptable to make members pay for their mistakes. When I tried to resolve the issue, their customer service was unhelpful and refused to credit me for the incorrect charges. This is not just frustrating—it's fraudulent.

To anyone considering joining PureGym, be wary of their shady practices and lack of accountability. I expected better from a company of this size, but clearly, they prioritize squeezing money out of their members over providing honest and reliable service.

Avoid PureGym unless you want to be scammed!

They got new equipment. It's worse than the old equipment. More plastic and cheap. Bumper plates plastic same for kettlebells. Plus equipment is made more troublesome for disabled people.
It's primarily made for men and does not take size and build of women into account. The fitness chain was better when it was still called Fitness World.

If you need to train and not be bothered, is the right place for you. New equipment and very chill atmosphere.
