Superb service
I would never go anywhere else for my internet provider due to the superb service you get when something goes wrong - and for most of us that is the main issue! Sam was superb at sorting out problems we had with our router and even searched shops close to us to see if they had a new one in stock before sending us an Amazon link. He then called us before they finished to see if it had arrived and when I said it hadn’t sent screen shots of how to install it. Could probably get a cheaper package elsewhere but why would I when I get this level of service?

I have had two broadband connections and three landlines with this company for about two decades now.
Whenever there has been an issue (not often and not of their doing), they have been prompt at diagnosing the cause and either remedied it or pointed me to those who could remedy.
Most importantly to me is the fact that they speak plain English, as I am fairly bereft of IT skills.

An excellent company that makes it easy…
An excellent company that makes it easy to talk to a real person with knowledge and experience within office hours. No out of hours tech support but the in hours tech support is UK based trained staff with knowledge of the field and not just people reading off a script. My connection was always as fast as my physical phone line would support. I've had to leave for now as openreach haven't connected my area up for fibre and I've had to move to Virgin who are the exact opposite of this company with mindless tech support who have already put he into a loop of hard to understand people transferring me around trying to find someone who can answer my question. You're missed already Pulse8 and I'll be back once Openreach get their fingers out next year.
Great internet service - reliable and gamer-friendly
I've been really happy with Pulse8. The connection is stable, with consistent speed — no dropouts, no buffering, no interruptions. One thing I really appreciate is that I can use my own router. All I had to do was update the username and password, and it worked perfectly.
Latency is low, which makes it ideal for online gaming too.
Customer support was fast and helpful when I needed assistance.
I hope to stay with them for a long time!

Unmatched service
I've had my broadband through Pulse8 for several years and it has always been excellent. The main difference compared with the big suppliers is the excellent service. On the rare occasions I have had a line fault (usually on openreach's network), Pulse8's highly knowledgable staff have immediately taken ownership of getting it fixed, communicated throughout and checked that everything is ok afterwards. A complete and very welcome contrast from the call centres employed by the large companies. I would highly recommend pulse8.
Pulse 8 service and support provision
I have been with Pulse 8 for over 10 years. I needed consistent internet access at high speeds for my work.
I can say that they never let me down. Their customer support really helped me out on a number of occasions when the fault was at my end. They are always quick to rectify issues.
I am writing this because, it is always easy to complain when things go wrong, but rarely do we acknowledge truly professional customer support. To me, they are the best.

So far a flawless experience in terms of service and speed. Signed up late evening, connected by the following afternoon and receiving the exact speeds, if not a little quicker, than I signed up for.
The sign up process I completed online. The next day I had several emails, one containing the connection date and username and password and links to help files - all very useful. My connection date was supposed to be 2 days after I signed up - a very quick service I thought. In fact, I checked the evening after I signed up and the light was green and the Internet was connected - This was LESS than 24 hours after signing up the night before. Exceptional service from Pulse 8 team.

A hidden gem
PlusNet provided my phone and broadband service for a number of years. I wanted a better value option without tie in to a lengthy contract. Came across Pulse8 with their 1 month contract and decided to give them a try. I have to say it was very easy to switch with minimal online form filling. I did have my own Asus modem router which just needed updating with Pulse8 user name and password. Upload/download speeds have slightly improved according to SamKnows (FTTC service).
Customer service contact to clarify transfer date and phone service options has been quick and efficient. Early days but happy to recommend.
Met a very tight deadline
Pulse8 brilliantly succeded in considerably shortening the process of obtaining a new landline and ADSL connection for me in order to meet a very tight deadline. They went above and beyond.
The deadline was due to Openreach's "Stop Sell" on the 5th of September. Pulse8 delivered my new landline and ADSL connection on the 1st of September.

In response to Pulse8's very kind reply, I have decided to add some more information to this review.
Pulse8 are retailers of ADSL and landlines provided by TalkTalk wholesale. About a week or two ago, I had a phone conversation with a member of support staff at TalkTalk who told me that TalkTalk would be implementing the Stop Sell and Switch Off at the same time as Openreach. However, after having done some more research, I have discovered that the member of support staff at TalkTalk was actually completely wrong about this.
This means that if you want a new ADSL service and I think perhaps also a new analogue voice line, you may still be in luck if you go with Pulse8. (Can I suggest that Pulse8 edits their reply to clarify if they are still selling new analogue voice lines.)

Efficient service
Efficient service, always an answer from a real person and although they are busy (understandably), the young man who installed our mesh system could not have been more customer friendly and agreeable. It was a pleasure and so far all is working well.
Great service for home phone & broadband
I switched to Pulse8 for home landline and broadband a year ago in Oct 2021, and they have been fab. Customer service is outstanding.
I had hoped that they would be able to provide faster ADSL broadband, which they could not, but they at least put in time and effort to match the previous provider's speeds.
On the few occasions that there has been any problem, I ring and speak to a real person instantly, who is friendly and sorts out the issue in person. When it's something they have to refer to OpenReach, they pro-actively ring me back to check on resolution and quality.
In April 2022 they passed on a £2/month increase from OpenReach, which was unexpected but seemed to be unavoidable – fair enough.

Pulse8 are efficient, helpful and quick to respond to queries. They provide our webhosting, email and now also telephone service.They have also done website re-development for us. We are very happy with all aspects of their service.
