The base of the weight has cracked with…

The base of the weight has cracked with use and I ordered a new one but the seating did not come with it

Prestige pressure cooker gasket

Dear Sirs,

13th February 2026

The gasket ordered arrived promptly. However it doesn't fit our Prestige stainless steel pressure cooker.

The new gasket is very very slightly larger in diameter than the old gasket so I carefully fitted it assuming that it would settle with use but this is not the case. The pressure cooker won't come up to pressure and steam escapes all round between the lid and the base.

We have owned this pressure cooker for about 40-45 years and have never before had any problems with replacement gaskets.

The only markings I can see on the base are:-
(1) Below the main handle: "Prestige made in England"
(2) Below the secondary handle: "nominal operating pressure 103 kPa
(3) Around the top of the lid in 4 different languages "read the instructions before using"

I shall be obliged if you will kindly let me have the correct replacement gasket at your earliest convenience.

Good you gave me a FULL refund.

Good you gave me a FULL refund.
But, that came after a lot of mistakes.
I believe in the rich heritage of the Parent company “TTK PRESTIGE”, from India 🇮🇳.

My cooking is centric to the use of a “Pressure Cooker”. Rice and IDLI are cooked routinely in my kitchen.

A pressure cooker that doesn’t let out “Steam” is not-functional!!!!

It is do good if you stock the correct model and inform me of its number and availability.

Rescheduled delivery for today and just…

Prestige sorted the problem immediately, fault was with amazons communications which said that item was undeliverable instead of rescheduled.
Looking forward to using the cast ironware.

Delivery experience not good.

The goods were perfect, though from Luxemberg not the UK as I was expecting. It was the delivery that was the problem. Why don't couriers ring doorbells? I was waiting & no ring. ONE HOUR after the parcel was placed in a position where people could see it I received the notification!!
It would benefit buyers if you could write, at the time of ordering, that you will be in & expecting for the item to be delivered INTO your hands.

Beautiful frying pan

Beautiful frying pan, top quality , very pleased with my purchase. Great value. Prestige website is excellent and purchase was easy and I was kept informed of the delivery progress. The pan delivered safely and promptly. Great service 👍
