Excellent, easy to deal with and no hassle. No damages or problems. That's not what usually happens in my experience. Thanks to Simon and his colleagues.

Setting up my recent move, Bryony Handforth, SW Move Manager was lovely to deal with, calm and reassuring. She picked up and double checked things I’d overlooked in my overwhelmed state! I had Pickfords pack so the job took two days, packing was done beautifully by a friendly, relaxed team for whom nothing was too much trouble. IF ever I move again I’d be happy to have them again. My only complaint (too strong a word) is that the kitchen boxes were labelled either China & Glass or Kitchenware, it took me a long time to find mugs and cutlery!! I do understand they were under pressure of time so no stars deducted. Thank you all for a great job.

We have always moved with Pickfords and once again we were not disappointed. Dealing with Jamie and Catie (Aberdeen) was a pleasure. All the help and ongoing guidance was really appreciated. The collection team were excellent, really friendly and helpful and now we are waiting in anticipation for the delivery in Cape Town. The words efficient and professional come to mind…

The move organiser was excellent and dealt with our change of date really well
Good at communicating what was about to happen and when
However on packing day only two out of the promised four packers arrived. They worked really hard but we needed to do alot of the packing ourselves to make sure we were ready for moving day which is not the service we paid for so only 4 stars.
Moving day went well as a full team did come and worked efficiently at both ends

Excellent communication throughout including Curtis who was my main contact. On the day, arrived within alloted time, really professional guys, hardworking and no damage or breakages (Hayden, Borys and Leroy). Highly recommend.

Helpful from start to finish. Removal men were especially excellent ..making a stressful experience much more bareable. Thank you.

To use the drivers own words. They did not muck about. They came, packed every single thing in wrapping paper and left. Very nice and clean work from the start.

We were very efficiently dealt with by Simon Edwards and his team, helping us move from Toronto to London in the UK.
From arrival of our shipment in the UK, to delivery into London, Simon was great and managed to fit us in quickly for a delivery date.
The team on the day were polite, professional and efficient making it extremely easy for us. We're very grateful and can't recommend them highly enough.

I moved with Pickfords back in 2020 and the experience was so smooth that, when I moved again in 2026, they were the first people I approached for a quote.

From the initial house visit onwards, everything felt very reassuring and well organised. Communication was clear throughout, and on moving day everything was transported safely from one property to the other.

I was moving with a heavy upright piano, which unfortunately couldn’t be brought into the new property on the day itself. However, the crew communicated clearly with me about what was happening, and it was delivered safely the next day by a specialist team who clearly knew exactly what they were doing.

Moving house is always a stressful business, but Pickfords took a great deal of the stress out of it for me. I sincerely hope I never have to move house again — but if I do, I’ll be back.

Very quick and helpful, our Driver was excellent and he got it all sorted in good time and was waiting for us at the other end.

Removal lorry arrived at the time we were advised it would and was loaded quickly with great care given to fragile items. The team of movers were friendly and knowledgeable. At our new home the team moved each item into the required room without question even though many went up more floors. We would highly recommend to anyone thinking of moving although this is definitely our last move.

All the guys were excellent. They all just got on with their work. All our removals were handled with care and bubble wrapped very well. We had more than anticipated but an extra van was summoned and came as quickly as possible, did not hold anything up. All done after about 6 - 7 hours.

The crew who moved us were fantastic, really friendly and helpful, really looked after us. Think the driver was called Paul (Co Co), the young chap was a lovely guy and deserved a far better wage that Pickfords are paying!
The only disappointment was we around 5 people loading us from Budleigh Salterton, there was only 2 to unload in Lydney, seems a lot to put on 2 people!

Used Pickfords years ago and had a good experience so decided to use them for this move.
We had a video call booked in to do a walk round the house, garden and garage. Then a quote was put together and sent via email. When we received a moving date we booked and paid. In between the quote and the move date we had some questions on various things which were answered promptly.

We received a call the day before to confirm timings and how many crew would be coming.

On the day the guys made sure protection was put down. Did a walk through to see what needed to be loaded first etc

They worked hard and were lovely, especially Leeroy and Boris. It was a long day for all as we moved counties so a long drive in-between the collect and drop addresses.

We would use Pickfords again and recommend them

My Move manager ( Kaylie Radford ) was very efficient happy & thorough taking me through the different stages from quotation, payment and booking in. Crew were also very friendly, happy, efficient and thorough! basically they had a cup of coffee and cracked on with the removals!

Pickfords have helped us with either moving or storage. The team are always friendly and efficient, we couldn’t fault them. Our furniture is always handled carefully and put back together as it was found. Would always recommend Pickfords for removals and storage.

The collection team, Ryan and Stuart, were excellent. They were very professional, knew what they were doing and paid extreme attention to detail. The wrapping and packing were top standard and I couldn't praise them highly enough. They were also very careful at handling items in order not to cause any damage. They were a class act.
